Ingredients

Yeast puff pastry
Ripe pomegranates 1-2
Hard cheese 100 g
Chicken legs
Onion
Soy sauce
Spices (e.g. turmeric, coriander, pepper, saffron)

Cooking method

  • Wash the legs, dry them, free the chicken leg from the bone (taking care not to damage the skin). Salt or grease with soy sauce, sprinkle the legs with spices, leave to marinate for a while. Grate cheese, sauté onion with champignons. Peel the pomegranate. Stuff the legs with a mixture of cheese + champignons, onions and pomegranate seeds.
  • Defrost the dough, roll it into a rectangle, put the stuffed leg on the dough, make cuts and braid it, or cut the dough into strips and wrap each leg.
  • Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, put the prepared legs, grease them with a beaten egg.
