To be honest, this dessert is called "Quick Rum Pot", but I don't like that name. So I renamed it.
Recipe from the TV show "Tim Malzer Cooking".
To begin with, I'll write an original recipe, and then how I cooked this yummy.

"Quick Rum Pot"

for 4 servings

250 g frozen pitted cherries
250 g frozen pitted plums
250 gr frozen pitted "Mirabelle" (cherry plum) plums
100 gr "Creamy Caramel" lollipops
250 ml rum
vanilla ice cream

As always, when I was "baked" to prepare this dessert, there were no necessary products.
Here's what was found.

Dessert for adults "New Year"

Dessert for adults

1 large apple
1 large pear of an unidentified breed
5 large fresh plums
1 jar mango, sliced
100 gr "Creamy Caramel" lollipops
250 ml rum
vanilla ice cream

Grind the caramel into powder with a blender.

Dessert for adults

Pour the resulting powder into a non-stick saucepan and melt.

Pour in rum and bring to a boil. Peel the apple and pear, remove the core, cut into large cubes and dip in the boiling syrup. Remove the seeds from the plums, cut into large cubes and dip in boiling syrup. Cut the mango into large pieces and toss in last, a couple of minutes until tender.

As soon as the fruit is soft, it's done. Here's the result. A sort of fruit-rum compote with a funky caramel smell.

Dessert for adults

Put some ice cream in a bowl.

Dessert for adults

Fill the ladle with fruit and syrup on top and add a couple of ice cream balls again.

O-B-A-L-D-E-T-L !!!

And on the second day it became even tastier! The fruit is soaked in syrup. There is no trace of alcoholic taste!

I couldn't even imagine that caramels can be crushed.

Stеrn, "Creamy Caramel" lollipops are definitely needed or can be replaced with those that I find similar. And I have not met such people here.

Zinger, and you don't sell Roshen's caramel anymore?
Such, in packs of 200gr?

Stеrn , cool dessert! And the crystal is not soviet hour?
Painfully familiar design ...

Zhivchik , this caramel smell is the whole "trick"! You can replace caramel, only it should be real candies (without filling) and always with caramel taste. And how they will be called does not matter!

alyona , shovels, exactly! A friend gave it when I just arrived in Germany (all my favorite dishes remained at home, there was nothing at all). Now there are modern normal dishes, but I can’t part with these vases, nostalgia.

Sternochka, unrefined brown sugar also gives the caramel flavor - the darker, the stronger the flavor. One spoon for Taten is enough for me, but the principle is the same - it is melted and then the fruit (it is possible with alcohol) is flavored in it. When I melt in a frying pan, the smell is completely caramel
Choose a matte, crystal-free and darker color for a thick caramel smell. I have Alce Nero, organic from Peru. Came across him in the diabetic department for some reason. So dull that at first I didn't even realize that it was sugar. Do not compare with those varieties that I once tried.

Good evening! dessert is ABALD! I wonder how it will sound without alcohol or with some kind of replacement? My daughter loves ice cream with fruit and with caramel she can eat a lot.
and caramel can be cooked by yourself
melt the sugar with water and when the sugar begins to turn brown add cream, you can even add vegetable cream. and the smell and color are very even

prascovia I am sure rum can be substituted for rich fruit juice. Just do not take the orange one, it will overwhelm the taste of fruit and caramel. Better with a neutral flavor.
Our cafe serves ice cream with hot berry sauce and children order this very often.
I cooked caramel like that, only without water. But I have doubts. Cream from alcohol and fruit would not curl.

luchok

And fruits, I do not understand, put hot on ice cream ??
Stern
Hot, hot! As soon as the rum compote is ready!
Both fruit and syrup!

Stеrnhow delicious it should be! I will definitely try to do it.
