Lika, but have you accidentally stumbled upon a recipe for thick waffles on potatoes?
By chance, no. But I made potato pancakes in a waffle iron, is that okay?

Thanks, I'll try

And just by eye to add or proportions are important, tada skoko what?
Otherwise, out of ignorance, I will do it so that the potatoes will not be fried

Lika, I have been baking bread waffles according to your recipe for 4 months already, and I brought "thank you" just now. I bake from flour "Altai Health" - an excellent alternative to bread and quickly make. Only you have to do not a double, but a triple (!) Batch, since there are a lot of helpers to eat them. The first time I baked it, counting only on myself. Result: I beat off 1 (one!) Waffle for my own consumption. Well, now a scientist ...
Lika
Lydia, to your health !!

I am still amazed that these unsweetened waffles are popular with my sweet tooth family. Double kneading is enough for us only for lunch and instead of bread.

And what is c \ h flour? I understand, something like "whole grain". But what is it? And what about the whole oatmeal? Or do you also need to grind it into flour?
Marinka_ja
And here's another question arose - isn't loosening - it's not harmful? All the same, bread seems to be obtained from a series of useful ones, and here the baking powder ...
Manna
Marinka_ja, I baked such waffles today. The flakes were ground into flour, instead of baking powder I used soda.
Nevushka
Lika, and what is this waffle iron? Are they crispy?
Manna
Nevushka, this is a flower waffle maker for medium-thick wafers. I think that if done in a waffle iron for thin waffles, they will be crispy.
z_alice
Manna, when you ground the flakes into flour, how much did you get? I want to bake, oatmeal is available, but I don't know how much to put it.
Manna
Glass 250 ml: a third of a glass of oatmeal, two-thirds of wheat.

Lika, thank you for the recipe, we liked it very much. Replaces bread. When you need bread, and wait for a long time in HP, once in a waffle iron and ready.

And how long does one tab bake? I kept it for about five minutes, crust on top, inside ... well, how am I doing something wrong with pancakes?
Manna
Nevushka, yes, I also baked them for a long time, but I don't remember how many ... I was doing other things in parallel

Good evening. Thanks for the recipe.
Pros:
1. You can have an allergic son, there are no eggs, no milk, no yeast in the recipe.
Minuses:
1. Absolutely insipid. I would add at least salt. And the oil could be replaced with olive, sesame or some aromatic oil.
2. They are baked for a long time. 10 minutes each serving.
But the son voted for. It turned out 12 small waffles, after 10 minutes only 3 remained, they are in the photo. I'll bake for my little son.
It is not important to remove, the panels had to be lubricated.
And yet, it is not clear what consistency the dough should be ... It seemed to me that it was liquid. I added a little flour, it turned out a little thicker than on the pancakes. The dough was stringy.

Do these waffles remain crispy after cooling?
Swan-Seagull
Lika, the recipe went "to the people". Delicious waffles. I added salt, chopped the oatmeal in a blender. 2 dough portions make 5 waffles

With pleasure I take away the recipe under the "steam" of thin Plain Bread Waffles. I will bake with pleasure.
I hope it will turn out in the "thick" version!)
