I can't say anything good about this robot.

This is one of the Chinese models we have abandoned.

No intelligent calculation of trajectories (only hardwired motion programs),
UV lamp (specifically, it sets the battery if it is on, and the benefits of it are questionable).
Aromatization works like this: you moisten a piece of foam rubber with perfume and stick it into a hole and the vacuum cleaner starts to smell.

The possibility of wet cleaning in this robot makes me laugh.
A damp cloth is attached there and he crawls and wipes. Only the rag must be constantly wetted.
And if he crawls on the carpet at this time, then due to this rag the load on the engine increases and the battery is quickly discharged.

Good afternoon everyone!
Does anyone know anything about such a robot vacuum cleaner: Siemens VSR-8000.
Yesterday I accidentally stumbled upon it on the website of an online store, intending to buy a regular vacuum cleaner there. I have wanted a robot for a long time, but we have no robots popular in this branch in our city. There is only this Siemens. Tell me who knows what !!!
dopleta
I saw him in hardware stores. He is one of those who are connected to their base, attached to the wall, are programmed to clean at a certain time and independently return to the base to recharge. But they also cost from 1000 euros.
lillay
yes, it costs a little more than 43 thousand in our and-no store. rub., expensive! And I haven't found any reviews on them!

I was today at Gorbushka and saw the Körcher robot for 55 thousand rubles, but I didn't like it at all, a little one.

Rumba has a competitor from Asus:

The look and the price are pretty We can only wait until it will be sold not only in China and Taiwan 🔗

I bought this yesterday as a present for my sister Other Robot Vacuum Cleaners It does everything the same as the Roomba, there is a base, a remote control, a wall, and even, it seems, is programmable - and all this for 6,990 rubles.

Girls, I bought it in the same store where my very first Rumba Red was (I wrote at the beginning of the topic), in Robotronics. They have a website, you can buy it on the Internet, you can live to touch it. It makes a noise, as it seemed to me when checking, the same as Rumba. The name is the same, both on it and on the box. But in action, I'm sorry, I can't check it - I bought it as a gift (also, by the way, for housewarming Smiling).
I remembered - when buying, I found one drawback in him compared to Rumba: his garbage container is half the volume.
it says Auto Cleaner, Intelligent Floor Vac. In euros, about 178, if I calculated correctly.

Dopleta , what can you say about the robot vacuum cleaner that you presented to your sister? Or has she not used it yet?

Neo
Dopleta, do you happen to have fresh news about the peculiarities of using your sister's vacuum cleaner? (Maybe there you can do it, but ask someone from the household neatly?)

With finances sparse, I want a robot ...
But tempting of course ...

By the way, one of the reviews on the market (which can be called negative at a stretch, but in the end the owner is satisfied) is about the following content - like "a Chinese is a Chinese, and a rumba is an American." But taking into account only that rumba in China is going ...

In general, I could not stand it, I ordered this 4tune ...
With delivery it turned out 6900, they will bring the day after tomorrow ...

I hope I will not regret my haste :) All the same, the cards are discouraging - there is absolutely no excess cash, and with a card - why not pay for that. It's a shame

My friend recently found somewhere a cheap analogue two-in-one. There is a sweeper and a washer at the same time.

Apparently, we are talking about this: Other Robot Vacuum Cleaners

12,850 RUB - quite, for 2 in 1.

And I talked about the Chinese with my sister, she is very happy. And, although she has Thomas aquafilter (also, by the way, given by me), she is more pleased with this - well, that's understandable.
Neo
Dopleta, thanks! I hope he doesn't disappoint me either :)

But this roboplanet is cool :) But I'm not sure that it is straight 2 in 1 .. On some sites there is also a description for scuba, which is for dry and wet cleaning, but this is not so in fact ...

Okay, we'll use this one for now, and then we'll send it to the dacha and buy it 2 in 1 :) Maybe there will be more reviews :)

I read reviews about roboplanets - it turns out there is no water reservoir in it, but just a damp cloth is attached and he wipes the floor with it :)
So he's not actually a washer!

Apparently there is no alternative to scuba ..

There is a garbage container, but I understood that it was necessary to start vacuuming it, and only then run it on a clean floor with a rag ..

But it seems to me that it is faster and easier to wipe the clean floor yourself - why did it go with a mop and that's all ... you don't need to wash off the dirt ...
Well, then it’s one thing when a washer with detergent will crawl and wash for two hours, and quite another - with the same cloth, which will dry a hundred times during this time .. In general, I doubt its washing efficiency ..

I read it. I followed the links. I rummaged through the Internet, and found only expensive Scuba and Rumba, but I didn't find Chinese robots, and we don't have Ashan to look at that robot that costs 780 UAH (very cool price).

Very good prices on the link gypsies - nobody ordered there?

Of course, if there is no more or less pleasant for the price, then you will have to look after branded ones.
Qween
I searched and found the cheapest Rumba-530 for 390 dollars. Is this a good model? Everything was messed up in my head.
I just think that then consumables need to be bought, and if you order from abroad, then what to do then?

From the link that Gypsy gave a lot of all sorts of handsome and $ 184. Although I am not yet in the subject, and they are all the same to me, I still do not understand what I need in them and what not. And whether there are people like Scuba there, I also did not understand. Hunting the floors do not wash too ...
Neo
Since 520 speaks Russian, 530 is a normal model.

According to the link above, vacuum cleaners for about $ 200 are just 4tune from Synco, only we have only 2 models sold 388 and 488, and there are more advanced ones - for example 688. In Russia, I did not find such on the internet on the sites of shinko and fotyun they are not there either ..
Qween
Neo , Thank you .

The letters are already dazzling in my eyes. Apparently, you need to take a break, and then do the second approach, otherwise I am 388, 488, 688, and the price is the same. But now, at least, I realized that these are different models in life.
musyanya
Virgo, do not forget to find out in advance whether it is possible for robots NOT Rumba and NOT SCUBA to buy various spare gadgets in the form of brushes, batteries, filters ... And then the Chinese and others have a very pleasant price, but they will not turn out disposable - the battery will become outdated - and to eject the robot !!! It's a pity, especially if you get used to it, like an animal ...: '(We all (from our city) took robots at high prices only because of this, then you can buy any spare part in the store.
Neo
Qween - that's 388 from 488 exactly different - 388 11 cm high, and 488 - 9 cm. This is the only difference (and of course the design). But all subsequent models, apparently, do not give a damn about anything except appearance - and even the equipment is the same ...

Musyanya - it seems there are service centers and spare parts, so I hope they are not disposable :)

Musyanya - it seems there are service centers and spare parts, so I hope they are not disposable :)

Yes, there is, I bought in the store, not through the Internet, and they told me everything.
Neo
Well, actually I am reporting!

First, a few words about the store.
Immediately after the order, they phoned and clarified everything, agreed on delivery, the courier called in advance, brought it on time, turned it on, showed it, told. In general, no complaints :)
They gave me a discount card, I really don't know how long ...

Now about the vacuum cleaner :)
First impressions are ambiguous - he seemed too toy to me .. Not real ... At first glance, there were obvious doubts about his ability to remove something :)
In the evening I tried to run it in the kitchen for just a couple of minutes and put it on charge.
Immediately I did not like its sound - not too loud, but rather harsh, like from a children's railway or an electric meat grinder ... In general, if you lie on the couch with a book, and he "mops" past - the pleasure is below average ...

In the morning the tests continued.
The vacuum cleaner has 3 modes - Spot - local cleaning (within a few minutes it is removed in a given place with a diameter of up to 2 m - for example, if sugar is spilled or something like that)
Clean - cleaning within 15 minutes
Max - until the battery is completely discharged approx. 60 min, then he goes to the base, charges up and continues cleaning.

In general, we used clean, I shook out the container 2 times - the first time after 10 minutes (it just became interesting) - there is a lot of garbage. The second time after the end of the cycle - an almost full container.
At the same time, I want to clarify that I washed the floor thoroughly on Monday, on Tuesday there was no need, on Wednesday there was a parent meeting, yesterday I just didn’t - I wanted to leave the trash for testing :) But the floor was visually not particularly littered, in general, the amount the collected dust-dirt surprised :)

Before leaving, I left it at max, but closed it in the kitchen, let's see what happens when we return home :)

ps My perfectly balanced cat with an impenetrable psyche, not afraid of either hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, or growling malamutes - he's in HORROR! :))

Now I have some questions :)

Dopleta, and you probably saw / heard it in your work when buying? Is Rumba much quieter? Or maybe the tone of the sound is different?

And about shopping, I wanted to know. I counted on e-bay and - of course the prices are very good. tempting, but delivery is very expensive, and in the end it turns out that the vacuum cleaner will come out slightly cheaper than when buying on an irobot. RU. There will be no guarantee for this and the Russian module.

In general, I made a conclusion for myself that for now I will use this for a while, but most likely I will give it to my parents at the dacha, and I will take rumba for myself. Moreover, it is necessary with the base and the programming mode - because you want not to see the cleaning process. Of course it's cool to watch him once, but still I don't want him to constantly spin under his feet :)
For example, I like to program a dishwasher for the night so that I can get clean dishes in the morning, but it works much quieter than a vacuum cleaner!

Dopleta, I also wanted to know from you, as an expert :)
If the estimated price is approx. 10 thousand + approximate delivery cost approx. 2 thousand, and below the postscript "Approximate price in local currency. Additional costs (customs duties, fees and / or taxes) are not included." - how much can they take in the end? Won't these unspecified payments increase the price up to the value of an airplane wing?

Neo
Is the dust container enough for one cleaning?
Is there really a 0.25 liter container (glass)?
It seems that Rumba has 1 liter.

I decided to look at this vacuum cleaner, went to the Cinco company (I work in the same business center and even on the same floor),
office 822 does not even have a sign with the name of the company, the door is closed,
and office 823 is not there,
no one answers the phone numbers listed on the website in contacts.
Neo
The container is really small, but here the situation is such - when highly dirty (when I drove him around the apartment for the first time - regardless of the size of the container, it had to be cleaned, since the brushes were clogged - hairs, strings, strings and other crap are wrapped around them .. The container must be cleaned in a second.
And when the house is already in principle clean - yesterday I ran it in a second circle after the morning cleaning - the brushes are practically clean, and the dust in the container is very good. fine, almost flour - and it is not enough, so the container is quite enough.

Thank you for your reply and happy shopping!

And I once again went to the Synco company, which supplies 4tune vacuum cleaners.
More successful this time. The manager was there, he showed and told us everything, the vacuum cleaner drove across the table, humming like a typewriter.
The size turned out to be larger than I imagined.

About spare parts (batteries, brushes), the manager said that they were in stock.

Neo
Does he have time to return to the base for recharging?
If not in one room, but throughout the apartment, travels with a lot of corners and turns?
And does it move normally from floor to carpet?
The manager also said that if there is fringe on the carpet, then it can be wound around the brushes.

If someone from St. Petersburg is interested, then in Sinko there are 2 types of 4tune vacuum cleaners - 388 and 488, the cost is 6800 =.
They also said that in the "Order" hypermarket these vacuum cleaners are now priced at 6600 =

I think this is due to the fact that we looked in a cramped office and on a table :) And so it seems small in the apartment :)
And 388 is slightly more than 488 (2 cm higher)

I honestly do not use the base ... IMHO - it is really needed only in programmable models.
That is why I think that you need to take either the simplest model and it will be enough, or the maximum rumba with a light house, walls, etc., and there you can use all the stages to the fullest.

In my apartment this is impossible, because there is a lot of furniture, there are swings of wires on the floor .. In general, I cannot let it all over the apartment in my absence.
I run it separately in different rooms and close the door, it doesn't bother me ... Well, the battery itself is still not enough for the whole apartment - it is enough for an hour and at the same time it is enough for 2 rooms - a room + a kitchen, or a corridor + a toilet + bath. Something like this .. At the same time, when the base is discharged, it starts looking for me, but for me it all the time so far it turned out that it was not being discharged in the room with the base, so I take it and put it on manually.

Then I still can't clarify the moment for myself - the instructions say what to charge and in general during the "rest" the power switch must be kept off so that the battery does not sit down .. And if he goes to the base himself, who is this toggle switch to him then turn off?

It's just inconvenient to interrupt your cozy conversation with a post about a vacuum cleaner :)

I wanted to complain that my ant has a rather poor battery - only I charge it at night, I turn it on in the evening - and it lasts a little less than the stated hour of work. But it turned out that this child, having come from school, communicates with him productively :)
It turned out purely by chance - after a later cleaning, I honored him, and today after launching I decided to look into the container again - and it turned out to be not only with garbage, but also with a New Year's garland!

Such a Chinese has arrived todayOther Robot Vacuum Cleaners
, however, in addition to the one in this photo, there is also 1 wall in the kit. I drove from my homeland to Krasnoyarsk for 2 weeks, cost 6176 rubles with EMS delivery to the door (although, after reading about this delivery on the Internet, I preferred to pick it up from the sorting center as soon as it appeared there). Functionally, as I understand it, it is a complete analogue of "Synco 4tune 488". The instruction is included in the set in English, I thought that inexperienced relatives would have to make a translation, but I found a complete coincidence with the Russian instruction from this dust. Now it's on the initial charge, although it's a bit of a try. Many people have a prejudice against the Chinese, so I will try to either refute or confirm over time.
Reanimatolog
An amateur's thoughts - what if all these glitches are related to the interference of the remote control? (Suppose the owners have some kind of source of radio or infrared radiation at home, how is Scuba remotely controlled there? But you don't have it at home). Here's a possible reason
UPD: Googled, the remote control is infrared, theoretically it can be clogged with some kind of lamps, LED or energy saving. (Connoisseurs of technology, don't kick if that).
UPD2: I could not resist, at ten o'clock in the evening I started the Chinese. Y-yes ... Everything is ambiguous. It rides, collects dust in large quantities, but in those places where at first glance it should not catch problems with cross-country ability, it happens - it gets stuck. It gets out of the jam situation on its own in 2 cases out of three After such a jam (under a low armchair, on a strip of 5 cm wide between the carpet and furniture, etc.), it often seems that the "bypassing the whole room" algorithm is malfunctioning and the dust starts to "iron" the same places again. It makes a low noise, but quite noticeably rams everything that it meets with a plastic bumper. Having jammed under the sofa, I slightly scratched the "roof" to myself. If it were less "glamorous-glossy", it would be less noticeable.
It is very likely that the rather intricate configuration of the room is to blame for the wanderings of the dust, but I wanted a miracle
I launched it into the kitchen - I swept everything out pretty cleanly, quickly and without such problems as in the living room. At this, the experimental itch subsided a little, I decided to leave the remaining couple of rooms and the corridor for dessert for the day after tomorrow, when I returned from duty. Maybe, of course, we'll get used to it, but initially I expected more from the unit.
Reanimatolog
Claimed to be a vacuum cleaner. I say the same, 4tune -388 is a one-to-one copy (except for the design of the top cover, although Synco has a model with the same appearance (588C). And from a brief experience of use it is clear that not only sweeps, but also sucks. principle that I am a vegetable garden
For 10 days of acquaintance with the "Chinese" base has not yet been used. He reached the state of "tired, looking for a base, charge me" 3 times, but while the apartment is still underprepared to the state of "I will not get stuck anywhere before I sit down." Therefore, I charge from charging "thin" for now.

The battery has not yet fully swayed, but it is enough for an hour, I think after a couple of charge-discharge cycles it will not decrease.During this hour, he must be somewhere under the edge of the furniture and wedged in (just by his measure) A couple of times he manages to get out himself, and if he gets stuck, then he turns off (squeaking something at the same time). Therefore, in order to complete the cleaning, I give him a chance to take a ride through still untouched places. To do this, you have to "do a Reset" (on / off the power switch) on the one hand, it is a pity that you cannot "reset" it from the remote control, on the other - if you are already stuck - you still need to release it manually. After that I restart the standard half-hour cycle. Until I realized that it was too early for me to get involved with programming cleaning, until I figured out all the places of potential stuck. One wall is not enough for all of them. For a couple of "Clean" cycles, that is, a standard cleaning of 30 minutes, cleans a 15-meter room tolerably. Kitchens with laminate flooring and fewer stuck nooks can take one cycle. The search for the base has not yet been tested, it will be necessary to check in the corridor, everything is straight there, it certainly will not stall. The main thing is, of course, not thorough, but only the current cleaning, but I hope that if you often do the current one, less dirt and dust will remain for a thorough one.

Today I ordered a Chinese M-788. Why not rumba?
I work closely with China. If anything, I can write out any spare parts.
It's just not entirely clear to me "The M-788 Robot Vacuum Cleaner is designed for wet and dry cleaning of the room .." How is it wet? Is there a wet cloth just crawling on the floor? And will she rub a lot? Maybe the robot is designed for Chinese apartments? They are there the size of the closets.

Dear friends!
Unfortunately, I was forced to stop the sale of Diabots due to the fact that there was even more marriage in the new batch. Apparently, there are problems in the design. Robots need to be refined and brought to mind.
Whatever one may say, but Irobot has no equal yet.
Despite the fact that Diabots showed good results in many tests - but reliability is the main factor for me and we will not sell unreliable but productive robots until the plant makes changes to the design and establishes quality control.

Yours faithfully,
