I propose to introduce an additional designation to the recipe: Tasty to disgrace !!!!

Seafood cocktail in tomato marinade Seafood cocktail in tomato marinade

300 gr frozen seafood cocktail
2 table. tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 medium onion
1 heaped dessert spoon of tomato paste (I have 3rd concentration)
200 ml of water
2-3 cloves of garlic (through a press)
a pinch of dry basil
salt, sugar, pepper to taste

Chop the onion very finely and simmer over low (!) Heat in heated vegetable oil. Dilute the tomato paste with water. As soon as the onion starts to "grab", pour in the tomato liquid, add basil. Bring to a boil, simmer a little over very low heat. Season to taste with salt, sugar and pepper. The sauce should be sweet and sour. Add the garlic, stir and put in a bowl (it is better to wield a silicone spatula - the pan will remain practically clean).
Pour the frozen sea cocktail into the same frying pan and, stirring it, heat over high heat until the liquid evaporates almost completely (just a little bit at the bottom) (3-4 minutes). Add the seafood cocktail to the tomato sauce, mix thoroughly and cool.

Even nothing to add!
If anyone doubts that it is really tasty, you can ask Lika and Admin, who heard my champing and enthusiastic groans on Skype!

Z. Y. If there is a stoic who can withstand this yummy until the next day in the refrigerator (as it should be) and only then eat it, please share your impressions.

Stellochka, it's me! We in Evpatoria this year prepared the sea gadgets exactly according to the same recipe (aunt in the market told the recipe from whom they bought them, only I added seafood to the fried onions with garlic, and then poured them with grated tomatoes with herbs and a little more cream). So yes, you can just eat off the mind! And due to the fact that my little one does not use seafood in any form, and we bought them decently, we did not master it at once. On the next the day when all these mussels-rapana-octopus-shrimp were soaked in the sauce thoroughly, it was divine! And then we just made them in creamy sour cream sauce, without tomato. It is also tasty, but a milder taste, freshish, or something, although they did not spare the herbs-spices. And then they simply fried them with onions and garlic - good too!

I did it with tomato puree and, of course, did not let them brew. All that they, bastards, had time to cool down.

THANK YOU 1000th THANKS - mine !!!

Stelochka, cooked reptiles yesterday! It was possible, for the purity of the experiment, to dive a little before today's lunch.

The dish has a very big drawback. Ends instantly.

Yesterday it was very tasty, and today it is even tastier.

Thank you so much for the recipe. Thank you!
