Beef heart stewed with mushrooms

Ingredients

Beef heart 1 PC.
Raw smoked bacon (meat) 100-150 g
Bulb onions 2 pcs.
Champignon mushrooms 300 g
Dry red wine 100-150 ml
Garlic 1 clove
Butter (vegetable) for frying 1 tbsp. l.
Marinade:
Vegetable oil 4 tbsp. l.
Vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
Bay leaf 2-4 pcs.
Salt, pepper, ants

Cooking method

  • - We clean the heart (I remove excess fat), cut into large pieces of 3x3 cm.
  • - Add everything for the marinade, mix and put in the refrigerator overnight, or for 6-8 hours, stir in between.
  • - Now we cut thinly flaky brisket (bacon), put in a slow cooker.
  • - Add the pickled heart to the pan (without the resulting liquid), pour the wine and set it to simmer for 3 hours (Stew mode). Do not add water!
  • - After 2.2-2.5 hours add the fried vegetables.
  • - Heat some oil in a frying pan, add a clove of crushed garlic, stew the onion, add coarsely chopped champignons. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add stewed vegetables to the meat and simmer until cooked for another 20-30 minutes.

Note

Believe me - it's very tasty !!! Prepare your own bread - soak the gravy !!!

There is enough gravy, the meat is completely covered.
You can add potatoes to the meat and simmer until tender - it will also be very tasty.

If the portion is small and in pieces, it is better to set at 180 * C and after an hour in the oven, check the readiness for bite.
