Veal steak with onions and potatoes with avocado.

Ingredients

Veal steaks
Bulb onions
Oil for frying
Marinade for meat:
Soy sauce 2 tbsp. l.
Balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
Ready mustard 1/2 tsp
Olive oil 1 tbsp.
Honey 1/2 tsp
Salt, ground pepper taste

Cooking method

  • We prepare a dressing from the listed products, mix everything, taste it.

  • Cut the veal meat into portions 1.5 cm thick.
  • Season with salt, sprinkle and beat well (but not to a pancake state). Fold the finished steaks in a bowl in layers, pour each layer a little with marinade.
  • Leave the steaks to marinate for 30-60 minutes.

  • Now we will fry the steaks.
  • To make the meat (beef, veal) juicy and not float in a pan in the liquid released from the meat, the meat must be wiped with a paper towel before frying.
  • The steaks must be dry! Do not fry steaks for a long time!
  • For breading, I only use flour, which retains the juice in the meat and does not give a thick crust.

  • So, the steaks were dipped in a towel, then dipped in flour on both sides, and put in a very hot pan, with 1 tbsp. l of vegetable oil.
  • Fry quickly until a small crust on both sides to fix the juice inside the meat.
  • Then I lower the heat a little and fry the steaks, turning them over several times.
  • Fry for a maximum of five minutes on both sides.
  • The longer the meat is fried over the fire, the drier it becomes.
  • Put the finished steaks on a plate.

  • Cut the onions into rings, sprinkle with salt, roll in flour and fry in the oil left over from frying the steaks. Fry until golden brown.
  • Put the onion on top of the steaks.

Note

For a side dish, I made boiled potatoes with avocado. And sprinkled some chopped green onions on top. And some lettuce.
I cut the avocado into small cubes. Top with lemon juice, olive oil, a drop of sand, salt, black pepper. I mixed the avocado with the dressing and left to marinate while the potatoes were boiling.
Mash the finished potatoes with a fork to small pieces, add the pickled avocado, mix. The side dish is ready!

It turned out to be a very easy-to-taste side dish! And very tender and juicy steaks!
