Whole wheat "Graham" bread

Ingredients

Flour of the highest grade 400 g
Wheat bran 400 g
Warm milk 1/2 l
Salt 1 tsp
Rast. oil 1/8 l
flour - sprinkle on a baking sheet

Cooking method

  • Sift the flour into a sauerkraut and mix with wheat bran. Let's make a hole in the middle, crush the yeast there, pour half the milk and knead the dough. Sprinkle the dough with flour and let it rise for 15 minutes at room temperature. Add the rest of the milk, salt, vegetable oil and knead the dough until smooth. Knead until it starts bubbling and stops sticking to the sides of the dish. Cover and set to approach for another 30 minutes. Place the dough on a floured board and shape into a loaf. Sprinkle a baking sheet with flour, put a loaf on it, cover it and let it come up for another 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Sprinkle the loaf with flour and bake for 45-50 minutes on the lower level of the oven. At the beginning of baking, place a refractory dish with water on the bottom of the oven.

I really like the Graham bread. Tell me, maybe someone has a recipe. for a bread machine or for a conventional oven. I read this link, but there are doubts about the amount of bran!

Graham bread - recipe for 2 oblong loaves.

30 g fresh yeast
1 tsp cane sugar
350-400 ml. lukewarm water
500 gr. torn wheat flour (meal)
200 gr. wheat flour
3 tsp sea salt
3 tbsp. l. melted butter

and also: flour for the work surface and for the baking sheet, 4 tbsp. l milk for lubrication

Graham bread can be sprinkled with sesame seeds before baking.

This is a flour made from ground whole grains, coarsely ground grain is called meal, and finer grinding is called flour. Both are all the same flour.
This recipe is for whole grain flour or wholemeal flour, Type 1700.
