Riga sand cake (La Cucina Italiana YBD50-90)

Ingredients

premium wheat flour 300 gr.
granulated sugar 270 gr.
butter (margarine is also possible) 200 gr.
eggs 4 things.
lemon 1
baking powder or baking soda 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Grind the butter white with sugar; drive in 1 egg into the mass, immediately rubbing well.
  • Put baking powder, zest from one lemon in sifted flour; squeeze juice from 1 lemon.
  • Then mix everything.
  • Grease the multi form (I have a 5-liter one), put the dough, put on the "baking" mode with the valve open for 50 minutes, then leave for another 20 minutes in the heating mode. Then we take out the form, leave it on the wire rack until it cools completely. When it has completely cooled down, carefully shake it out, cut it across into 3 (or whoever succeeds - into 4) parts. We coat with freshly frozen pureed currants with sugar. Above - what God sent, I had almond petals.
