Multicooker CUCKOO CRP-HN1054F
Iraider
The multicooker was bought at Duty Free in Incheon (Seoul, Korea), money is about $ 350, all in Korean, there is an instruction in Korean and English. Chatting in Korean.
I thought that the menu would also be in English, so I bought it so boldly, because the price justified some of the difficulties. Besides, seeing it for the first time, it is simply impossible not to dream of it!
Now we have made a partial translation of the instructions into Russian and, thanks to Karolina, I am mastering Korean menu labels. Already a whole stack of leaves with notes.

The first experience - they turned off the voice guidance. A little distracting when you don't understand what this is about

Then there was porridge. Wheat, on the very first program, just to try. It turned out fine, but it didn't become clearer ...
Now I am studying its capabilities, I will inform you if something starts to work out fine.

My first discovery - to reset the current program, you need to press "Cancell" and at the same time "Set", otherwise the sensors do not react.

Yesterday I made a piece of halibut on vegetables. Everything was frozen. Vegetables - diced carrots, peas, corn, something else, I don't remember, the mixture was from a store. I poured it into a saucepan, poured it with cream, put a piece of halibut sprinkled with seasoning right on top and put it on a multikuk for 30 minutes. As a result, we got a lot of liquid, vegetables like boiled, overexposed, halibut was falling apart, but still very tasty. I ate everything, but I can't put the test
there was no time to take pictures, I really wanted to eat

Today I made a soup with veal and mushrooms.
Diced meat, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic 1 clove, added salt, black pepper, sour cream

Also a multicook, 30 minutes. There was enough meat, which surprised me very much - I had never cooked in a pressure cooker before, and I would cook such a soup on the stove for at least an hour.
Ready-made vegetables, not collapsed, it turned out well.

A question for the knowledgeable: Can the X-Wall pot be washed in the dishwasher?
sazalexter
It is better not to wash the X-Wall pot in the dishwasher, especially since nothing burns to it anyway and washes with one stroke
sazalexter
Iraider And do you have it at 220v * 50Hz or as for the USA 120v * 60Hz?
Iraider
The store said that it was for China, they didn't even want to sell it to any!
220/60
I previously read that we can use the 60 hertz technique in Russia

Well, sometimes it's just too lazy to wash! plus a manicure ...
but if it is better not to wash, then no options. I will have nowhere to take a second saucepan

something small pictures are not inserted ...
sazalexter
The second saucepan, like the gasket, can be ordered via the Internet, for example here 🔗
or here 🔗
Maybe still will appear here 🔗
Iraider
What kind of gasket?
sazalexter
Here is one if you have a cartoon for 10 cups of rice
🔗
It changes with wear, the manufacturer guarantees a service life of 1-3 years
they say it can last longer
And judging by the marking 1054,1010,1051, etc., this is for 10 cups of rice
a Cuckoo Rice Cooker | CRP-J0610F (Pink / Lilac) for example 6 cups
Iraider
my link comes to the root directory ...
sazalexter
Iraider Which one? I checked everything in a bunch, maybe you made a mistake when copying?

I didn't understand a word there. Can we-Russians also order?
sazalexter
Aunt Besya And we can order through the distributor from which you purchased the Cuckoo
Iraider
Today I tried to turn on the frying mode (neryungzhi) - it did not work. Fried cutlets in a frying pan
It's not so simple there ... I got confused in the settings, she offered me both to set the time, and something else, and I did not dare to climb further, somehow almost nothing was pressed, it seemed to me that I could not turn it on

Exactly? I'm thinking about the second saucepan ...
Iraider
By the way, I tried in Korea in a store to ask about a saucepan - either a second one, or even separately, or, for example, a steel one ... It seems that they do not understand me at all ... apparently, they are not accepted to do this, at all in the case, they do not lie in stores and the sellers do not know anything about pots separately.

PySy
but on that link I still did not find anything, it comes to the main page
Iraider
Cope with the inclusion of Nyurungzhi! That's all for now...
My conscience did not allow me to leave this question open and tormented me, so at night I dreamed that Pressure cook is one button for both functions, and this is not only to turn on cooking with pressure, but also to simply turn on the program. It's fried today ...
But I still didn't understand the levels, and the pan itself regulated something for me, because at first it was fried hard, then quieter, and then generally quiet. As a result, my potatoes with onions turned out to be soft, fried and fragrant

Iraider Congratulations on mastering the multi mode! keep it up
Natay
Iraider, how is this new model different?
Iraider
I can't say - I didn't have a previous one

In mine - there is induction, this soft release of steam is there, a bunch of programs in which I have not yet finished ... in general, she is very smart, I am still shy in front of her
the temperature is not set, the time in some modes - yes, in some - no ... well, a lot of things are chatting with might and main and the sound of an arriving train depicts
curlygirl
Hello! Cuckoo CRP-HN1054F arrived yesterday. I'm in shock! I don't even know which side to approach her. She turned it on - she yelled at me in Korean. I read this instruction (it is in English), but it did not tell me anything worthwhile. I looked at other multi-forums, there is a baking mode, soup, etc. My only has such rice, rice and syako and a slow cooker. Maybe someone knows if it has a baking mode or other modes?

Iraider, and this frying mode with an open lid or with a closed one? It seems that other multicooker works with an open one, if in the frying mode.
Iraider
And this one works with the lid open. You just need to turn the handle to the "closed" position, and do not close the lid itself.

About the regimes - yes ... I came here with them. It's not entirely clear, even in English, I did the translation, but I still used three modes in total .... It takes practice.
Yesterday I cooked a duck breast in it - it turned out a little not what I wanted, but now I know a little more about it
Will communicate
Antonovka
But still, how beautiful she is - interesting - how long will she get to us?
Iraider
Beautiful is not the right word!
she's also smart! knows how to fry so as not to burn a bit

tomorrow I'm flying to Korea, I can't write for about a week
sazalexter
Hello Koreans. Happy Holidays
curlygirl
Yesterday I stewed chicken breast with sauce in it. It worked well, only the mayonnaise split. At first I tried to fry the breast in this mode (Well ... well), but I somehow stewed it more than fried it. Maybe the temperature wasn't high enough? And I have not yet learned how to add ... I want to try to make soup today. I don’t know how I’ll do it.
curlygirl
The soup turned out great! The husband and children ate with the addition! I didn't have time to take a picture. If anyone wants to try, here's what I did:
4 legs (without skin and bones) finely chopped, added a drop of sunflower oil and set to fry in Nyuryunzhi (or whatever his name is) with all sorts of spices. Finely chopped half of the onion, added to the chicken, grated a medium carrot, added fried.Stir occasionally. While roasting, peel and finely chop 4 medium potatoes. When the chicken with vegetables is fried, add potatoes and pour water up to the upper level (where 10 caps are written). Salted and pepper. I put on multitikuk mode for 1 and 20 minutes. The water was really a bit too much, a little bit flowed out from behind, where the water is collected. I usually make this soup with noodles. I did not add noodles, I was afraid that the porridge would turn out. Boiled it separately. Everyone just put it on their plate. I had to add some salt at the end.
Doctor killer
Girls, hello! I also want to order myself HNXT107FB or HMF1010FB or HLT1013FB. I read, but I don't understand, there are no cardinal differences? The price is almost the same for everyone. The menu will also be in Korean. There was no multicooker before. How to deal with Korean?
Iraider
I can't say anything about the differences - I did not compare them, I immediately took the one that I had only seen in the photograph and wanted strongly.

As for the Korean language, you can do it the way I do ... we look for instructions in English and stupidly remember which program is in which place. Then little by little you begin to memorize by ear, like "Nyurungzhi" - it is easiest to remember it
And you can also use Carolina's tips in the topic about 1013 - she wrote down which inscriptions in Korean are translated ... in the end, as I understand it, different programs are different settings for temperature, time and pressure. over time, the advantages of a particular program in the preparation of different products are simply determined. To master Korean, you just need a little more time and record your experience
Iraider
I cooked teriyaki guinea fowl yesterday.
On a multi-cooker, 80 minutes. I just cut the carcass as finely as I could, added salt, half a bottle of Kikkoman Teryaki sauce for a whole bird.
Well, what can I say - the meat is cooked. It didn't melt in my mouth - not a broiler, after all, but it was soft, soaked and the sauce was fine - not soup, that's what the guys liked very much - apparently, they pleased the male taste
Iraider
Today I tried to cook the soup on the "galbitan" mode, it seems - in Korean cuisine it is chicken soup made from whole chicken with ginseng. In my multicooker this mode corresponds to "dry rice" or "old rice" - it goes right after the "GABA" mode in the list, the sixth position in the multicooker menu, the cooking time for the program is 40-45 minutes.
I had - a small bone with veal meat, potatoes, carrots, a soup mixture of beans (different lentils, chickpeas, peas), chopped leeks, spices.
In general, the mode is super, I set both levels to 4 - both cooking and soaking ... why I did this - God only knows, I'm experimenting ...
In short, the soup was completely boiled, the legumes were not visible))) the potatoes-carrots are very noticeable, the meat is soft, the veins are tender ... the onions are seen sporadically.
In general, everything is great with meat, but you can't scoff at cereals and vegetables like that))) next time I'll choose a shorter program, probably ... or I need to put vegetables later ...
Well, and I will be glad to advice from the knowledgeable

yes, I also oversalted it! ))) cook, damn it ...
sazalexter
Iraider Place it as a recipe with a photo, if possible, I really want to see what happens. This forum is the richest in multicooker KUKU! Especially on Korean variants
matroskin_kot
yeah, very photo hunting ... But in the Russian version, soup with ginseng, what's that? Interesting? chicken bouillon? and now- Korean- it differs in the names or duration of the programs too ... I also want myself from Magadan ... especially when we are together there, it would be very convenient ... I really appreciated her-kuku- ... ABAZY ,,,
Iraider
I will be happy to - both photos and recipes ... if it happens, what, and the over-salted overcooked soup is somehow not comme il faut
I wrote all this just because I want to share unsuccessful experiences too, so that others do not spoil family lunches and dinners

What is galbitan in Russian - I don’t know, I haven’t tried it in Korean either, I didn’t want chicken with ginseng ... I like other Korean dishes more, for example, bulgogi or calbi ribs

Oh yes .. just Ira
curlygirl
Irisha, I just cook the soup in the "slow cooker" mode.It turns out great. If you do not add rice, noodles or legumes. I tried to make pea soup. I looked at other forums, put the peas to cook first by themselves, then add everything else and for another hour. I tried this. In 50 minutes, the peas turned into porridge. Just throw it out. I put it again for 50 minutes, only with all the ingredients and threw in some peas. The peas were boiled again, but the soup was just that. Not liquid, not thick, as my household loves.

By the way, there are recipes there, in a multi-cookbook. I only recently discovered them. Of course, they have problems with English, but mostly you can understand. And in my opinion, the instructions for use were translated by one person, and the recipes by another, because the mystical function "Universal Steam" suddenly appears in the recipes, which, as I hope, corresponds to the same "multi-cook". In fact, I speak English perfectly, but I have to achieve something by the "scientific poke" method and press all the buttons until I put what I need.

So, for example, I tried to set the divisions "soak" and "heat" to cook pilaf. In general, as far as I understand, these two divisions are responsible for what kind of rice the rice will be in terms of quality (sticky, hard, dry, crumbly, etc.). There in the instructions there is such a graph that shows by numbers which modes can be set. It took me only 10 minutes to finally set the mode 10. In general, the pilaf turned out to be dry and tasteless.

Basically, I cook everything in multi-cook mode, pre-frying in Nyurungzhi mode (or whatever ...). I will try to make photos in the future. Ira, by the way, you are not alone - I also overpassed.

Today I ordered HNXT107FB, now everyone is waiting

I looked at the recipes, but I was not impressed ... although - it is quite understandable, yes

But these soak and heat modes are still a mystery to me ...

Here is my last piece. I wanted to make soup, but it turned out to be thick. My household likes it this way.

This is the recipe I wrote earlier. Corrected a little here and there:
4 legs (without skin and bones) finely cut, added a drop (about 1-2 teaspoons - you don't need much, because it won't burn) of sunflower oil and set it to be fried in Nyuryungi mode (or whatever his name is) with all sorts of spices. Finely chopped half of the onion (large), added to the chicken, grated a medium carrot, added fried. Stir occasionally. While everything was fried, peeled and finely chopped 4 medium potatoes. When the chicken with vegetables is fried, I turned off the Nuryunzhi mode, added potatoes and filled it with water to the very top level (where 10 caps are written). Salted and pepper. I put it on multitikuk mode for 1 hour. The first time I set it for 1 hour and 20 minutes, it boiled strongly and flowed out from behind, so I tried to put it on for a shorter time. It turned out the same and nothing boiled away. I usually make this soup with noodles. I did not add noodles, I was afraid that the porridge would turn out. Boiled it separately. Everyone just put it on their plate. I had to add some salt at the end.

A Mexican variation of this soup for those who like spicy food. You can not add potatoes, but add finely chopped tomato, a little chili pepper, corn (frozen or raw). Here (in the States) we have chili tomatoes sold in cans, ready-made, just opened and poured. May be sprinkled with cheese and crushed corn chips before serving. It's called Taco Soup. My daughter really likes it.Next time I do, I'll post a photo.

Girls, good afternoon everyone!
So I want to buy myself this miracle CRP-HN1054F!
But I am so confused so far that she will be all in hieroglyphs and speak only Korean! I can't find instructions in English in the net ... Maybe you know where?
There is an idea to order from America with an English interface, and let it work through a transformer or whatever they call it, which equalizes the voltage in the network ... I don't even know! The Korean version is cheaper! Yes, and I did not find a site where they send from America to Europe. I live in Latvia.
What do you advise? Is it very difficult to deal with the Korean version? How quickly did you get it?
Thank you!

Thanks for the answer! But the manual does not open for me on this site! Writes that the page was not found ... Maybe someone knows where else you can look?
