Pancakes with sour milk

Ingredients

premium wheat flour 1 glass
sour milk 2 glasses
chicken egg 2 pcs.
salt 1/2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Pancakes with sour milk (mom's recipe)
  • Sift the flour into a deep saucepan, make a depression, pour in eggs and sour milk, add salt. Beat well with a broom. Leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Bake as usual. I grease the frying pan and ready-made pancakes with a mixture of vegetable and butter - for this, stir the butter and vegetable oil in a small dish like an outlet; I use a silicone brush.
  • My husband, having tasted pancakes for the first time in mother-in-law, asks to cook only such! Did it on kefir or yogurt - not that! Only in sour milk. To do this, I buy the cheapest pasteurized with a short shelf life, leave it outside the refrigerator overnight, on the table.

Sour milk is very important. I put the simplest, pasteurized, GOST, as it were, for the night in the kitchen. In the morning I smelled it - it didn't turn sour! I had to throw a spoonful of sour cream - and only in the evening the milk seemed to turn sour .... I really wanted my husband to please him with his favorite "tesha" pancakes. It seems to have worked out ....

I wanted pancakes with a slight sourness, not sweet and not very thin. These are just these pancakes. True, I made the dough and baked it right away, but I couldn't stand it for an hour.

PS: Once I bought a Teflon pan for pancakes. I just can't get used to frying on it. It doesn't seem to stick, and pancakes are fried quickly, and it is easier to wash it than usual. But, somehow it does not blush evenly, and the pancakes are more ruddy in the center than at the edges.

Glad you liked! : rose: Yes, a lot depends on the frying pan - my mother had a cast iron one, only for pancakes, I didn't get it, the older sisters took it.
