Pilaf with oyster mushrooms

Pilaf with oyster mushrooms

Ingredients

Rice 2 glasses
mushrooms (oyster mushrooms) 500 BC
onion 1 large onion
zira 3 tsp
marjoram 1. tsp.
paprika 3 tsp
turmeric pinch
Sen-soi soy sauce 1/3 bottle
water

Cooking method

  • Finely chop a large onion, put in a saucepan with heated vegetable oil. When the onion has softened a little (1-2 minutes), put the chopped (washed, of course) oyster mushrooms (usually a pound in a pack). I cut with my legs.
  • When the oyster mushrooms give juice, add washed long-grain rice (to cover the mushrooms a little - 1-2 cups), 1. tsp marjoram, 3 tsp cumin, 3 tsp paprika, a pinch of turmeric. Stir and cover. After 3-4 minutes, when the juice from the mushrooms is absorbed into the rice, add 1/3 bottle of Sensoi soy sauce and boiling water so that it covers the rice by 2-3 fingers. Stir in, let it boil, reduce. Simmer over low heat until the water is absorbed into the rice (15 minutes). The rice should be soft. If the rice is already soft, and a little water remains at the bottom, you can remove it from the heat, stir and leave to stand for another 5-10 minutes.
