Ingredients

Water 2L
Rice 0.5 cups
Onion 2 pcs
Carrot 1 PC
Walnuts, peeled, ground 0.5 cups
Potatoes 3 pcs medium
Tomato juice 1 cup (can be substituted with paste)
Vegetable oil (I took olive oil) 3 tbsp. l.
Garlic 2 cloves
Salt, sugar, allspice, ground coriander, herbs taste
Bay leaf 2 pcs

Cooking method

  • Pour rice into boiling water, after boiling add chopped potatoes, bay leaf, crushed allspice peas. Lightly fry onions and carrots, add tomato juice and simmer. Add frying to the soup, nut paste (I ground the nuts in a chopper, gradually adding a little water), coriander. Before the end of cooking, add herbs and chopped garlic, let it brew a little.

Interestingly, I haven't eaten nut soups yet. Is the nutty taste pronounced?
And what is most important for me - it is quite suitable for lunch for those who adhere to the "Minus 60" food system, you don't even need to change anything, except that the oil should be halved.

I would not say that the nutty taste is pronounced, maybe because the spices interrupt. But delicious.
