Pies Like Fluff

Ingredients

Kefir 1 tbsp.
Refined oil 0.5 tbsp.
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Fast acting yeast 11 g
Wheat flour 3 tbsp.
Any filling

Cooking method

  • 1. Warm up kefir with butter, so that it is warm (in no case is it hot so that the yeast does not steam up)
  • 2. Add sugar, salt and stir.
  • 3. Stir the yeast with flour (sift the flour) and add to this mass. (or fresh yeast 30-40g. but then add them to kefir with butter).
  • 4. Knead the dough and leave to come up (about 20-30 minutes)
  • 5. Form pies with filling and while the oven is heating up, leave to come up a little, grease with yolk and send to the oven.
  • 6. Bake for 15-20 minutes

The dish is designed for

20-25 pcs.

One but ... I will put much less yeast (I used fresh ones). In the conditions of today's warming, it was very playful.

The dough came super quickly, despite the fact that I had prepared the filling in advance - I suspected that it would be so. If you reduce the yeast by half and start filling, then the dough will arrive in time. I think so.

The dough was kneaded by a bread maker, live Lvovskiye yeast, frozen pitted cherry filling. Sawing round, pinching in the shape of a bag - a flower is obtained on top.It was folded in the form of a pie, and then broken into individual pies.

I cooked pies according to the author's recipe several times, they always turned out. If for the first time I took fresh Lvovskie yeast, then later I used dry yeast - I had Lvovskie yeast. What are yours?
Or they gave them a little time to come up (at least to make the pies increase several times), or maybe the yeast is stale. Kefirchik should only be lukewarm, cold will be garbage.
I used 2 teaspoons of dry yeast bread maker. I got one standard baking sheet from an electric stove (probably about 20 pies).

I think that it was like this: I didn't have kefir, I replaced it with homemade yogurt, that's most likely because of this, although my bread fits perfectly on yogurt, it doesn't fall and is always fluffy!

Yesterday my husband and I baked these pies - with meat, fried onions and dill, as well as rice, boiled eggs and green onions - it turned out to be a delight - soft, tender, thin dough, 20 shkeks in total. Today I'm getting ready to repeat it, I want to try it with fresh yeast, and it also seemed to me that the sunflower oil was too much and therefore it took more than an hour, but at the same time we forgot to warm up the kefir with butter, maybe because of this ?!
I am very grateful to the author for this mega simple but very tasty recipe, we are waiting for new recipes from you !!!
