Potato and carrot salad

Ingredients

Raw large potatoes 2 pcs.
Medium carrots 1 PC.
Red onion 1/2 pcs.
Garlic 3 prongs
spices, soy sauce, vegetable oil taste

Cooking method

  • Peel the potatoes and grate three for Korean carrots;
  • rinse thoroughly through a colander;
  • Boil 1 liter of water with 8 tablespoons of 9% vinegar and a teaspoon of salt;
  • throw the potatoes into this boiling water and cook for 5 minutes, then put them in a colander and let the water drain.
  • Three carrots on a grater for Korean carrots, add crushed garlic and chopped onions;
  • when the boiled potatoes cool and the water drains from it, add to the carrots, mix, season with spices, soy sauce and butter. You can eat right away, and if it stands in the refrigerator for at least an hour, then it's generally yummy.
  • Potato and carrot salad
  • Here you can add pork chopped and fried with onions; but you can also pickled mushrooms.
  • If you don't know what potatoes are in the recipe, it's almost impossible to immediately understand what it is - it is crunchy, sour and salty.

MariV, I'm already with the report. when I chopped potatoes, I thought that in 5 minutes. it will turn into puree. But vinegar (I added my grape vinegar) did the trick! The potatoes really have a very unusual taste and crispiness. I didn't have a red onion and I replaced it with a regular one, filled it with boiling water with vinegar for 1 minute.

But you can get by with 6 tablespoons - the potatoes still don't turn into porridge! What do I think - maybe these potatoes can also be fried like noodles? I'll try tomorrow .....

I also made such a salad ..... Unusual .... Next time I will pour 6 tablespoons of vinegar ... There was one small carrot, it seemed to me sour and added 2 tablespoons of Jerusalem artichoke syrup ..
