Ingredients

Milk 1.5 tbsp.
Yeast 50 g
Sugar 2 tbsp.
Egg yolks 6 pcs.
Butter 300 g
Salt 1 whp.
Flour 1 kg
Lump sugar 1 pack.
Raisins 100 g

Cooking method

  • Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add 500 g of flour and put in a warm place.
  • When the dough comes up, we begin to carefully add all the ingredients except the raisins.
  • Knead the dough well and put it in a warm place, covered with a towel.
  • After increasing the dough several times, you need to add the raisins and mix again.
  • Leave the dough alone in a warm place, cover with a towel until cooked.
  • Put the dough in the tins, grease your hands with sunflower oil and let the dough rise a little more in the tins, approx. 30 minutes.
  • Bake in the oven until tender.
  • You can cover Easter with anything, my pets prefer protein glaze.

Note

The raisins must first be washed and covered with boiling water for 10 minutes. Then put it on a towel and let it dry.
Yeast should be taken checked and fresh, because there is a lot of sugar and may not work.
I am using Lvov.

Easter is very juicy and sweet, eaten very quickly,
therefore, I always knead and bake 2 servings.

I baked such Easter cakes today for memorial days (my mother-in-law is going to her village).

We kept one little cake for ourselves to try. Very tasty, I liked it. Airy and sweet (although I reduced the sugar a little). The dough is moderately fatty, not dry.

I added a couple of drops of Duchess fragrance and a tablespoon of brandy infused with saffron.

The color and flavor are super!
