Easter cake

The recipe is interesting, but one small detail stops me - non-yeast dough. As far as I understand, the peculiarity of the Easter cake is that the dough should just be yeast (at least that's what my mother told me).

And I thought so too !!!
And this Sunday at the church I saw a car from which they were selling bread (as I understood, from the monastery), so they had an announcement about accepting a pre-order for yeastless Easter cakes, as well as from whole grain flour! : pardon: I myself was surprised and thought that they can only be on yeast dough And it turns out that there are such. We must try to cook;) Thanks for the recipe !!!

Perhaps this is due to the fact that not everyone can eat a lot of muffins, wheat flour and especially yeast... Therefore, the replacement of yeast with baking powder is done. This is already yeast-free baking!
And rightly so, that the monasteries went to meet the flock - they bake to order without yeast and on whole grain flour!

After all, the main thing is KULICH for EASTER !!!! And so that cake is on every table, regardless of whether our body can accept yeast in any form or not

What a curious recipe! Straight curd-curd.

Girls, but it seems to me that the tradition has gone yeast-free to call sourdough cakes (like bread). That is, Easter cakes are still on yeast, but not on industrial ones.

The recipe is not complete. And this is not a cake, but a pie with a shortbread base and a casserole inside, and the composition of the curd mass is not written. And a photo of a yeast cake, and the recipe is from a completely different opera ...
