Potato sauce for fish

Ingredients

Calculation for a pound of fish.
1 large potato or 2 medium
2 cloves of garlic
2 boiled yolks
70 ml olive oil
2 tbsp. l. lemon juice
150 ml mayonnaise
a pinch of turmeric
salt pepper

Cooking method

  • Boil the potatoes, and immediately begin to whisk them in mashed potatoes along with the yolks, garlic, turmeric and mayonnaise. Then add lemon juice and olive oil. Pour oil slowly, in a thin stream, while stirring vigorously. Season with salt and pepper to taste. You can beat with a mixer. It will turn out: a kind of mashed potatoes, but sour, garlic and tender. With fish - that's it!
  • Serve like this: a piece of fish to the guest on a plate and a tablespoon of this puree (no longer needed). If you additionally prepare an ordinary vegetable salad - tomatoes, cucumbers with olive oil, you will get a dish from Mediterranean cuisine.
  • I warn you right away that you won't eat a lot of sauce, it is fatty, but very tasty!
  • It is better to serve drier types of fish with the sauce, such as pike perch, cod, pollock. And prepare them in the simplest way: boil or bake in the oven.
  • Or you can just cut a large tomato in half and spread it on top !!!
