Good day. I literally just bought myself a multicooker Perfezza PR-55
Yesterday, until three in the morning, I studied the forum - I really wanted DEX, but did not find it, so I bought a completely different company.
As I understand it, a sensible instruction for the cartoon is a rarity. and I was just "lucky" :-(

the question is actually this - lesik_l so wonderfully described all the functions of DEX, but how can all these parameters be determined ???

As I understand it, I need to figure out which mode in my cartoon corresponds to some universal modes ... what happens in each of the modes ... but HOW to do it?

I have these modes:
- cooking rice
- cooking a little rice
- soaking rice
- reheating
- crispy rice
- steam cooking
- slow cooking (stewing food)
- porridge / soup
- casserole

they overdid something with rice

help please, I really want to please my husband in the evening with something like naval pasta
Lubashka
SupercoW, naval pasta I make on rice, fry the meat with onions, then throw in the pasta, a little water so that even the ends of the pasta stick out and not interfere until the end of the program. The secret of the "rice" program is in the complete evaporation of water
lesik_l

I have these modes:
1- cooking rice
2- cooking some rice
3- soaking rice
4- reheat
5- crispy rice
6- steaming
7- slow cooking (stewing food)
8- porridge / soup
9- casserole

Let's figure it out
1 and 2 - everything is clear, we cook crumbly rice until the water is completely boiled away
3 - it seems, too, without questions, except for one thing - Why this program?
5 - most likely it's like Panas's - pilaf. It seems so intuitively, check - if there is intense heating at the end - this is it. It will be convenient to do naval pasta here
9 - looks like baked goods
The rest correspond to their names. Of course, it would be better to post the name of your multi and maybe find a similar one on our forum.

With rice in rice cooker did not overdo it. This is not the whole version of cooking rice in saucepans.
well, yes
I already looked at home, in the instructions my device is called "a device for cooking rice with a flexible control system = rice multicooker". how wrapped up !!!
so I still hope that I have something from the multicooker (well, at least the last four modes), with the first five I will probably have to go to understand the topic of "RICE COOKER"

Lubashka, the onion with meat has already been thrown into the BAKING mode ... the smell is already going cool
I understand that there is no difference what water to add to pasta? can I also cold?

3 - it seems, too, without questions, except for one thing - Why this program?
lesik_l, so it was probably this mode that confused me ... so confused and confused that the brain generally refused to perceive any further information :-)

check - if there is intense heating at the end - this is it.
and how to check it? looking inside all the time?

Of course, it would be better to post the name of your multi and maybe find a similar one on our forum.
I seem to have already examined it - I did not find such a miracle of nature
so as soon as I make friends with her, I will probably make a new Temko.
I have it called Perfezza PR-55
SupercoW
While I was doing the first experiments ... a house was already created for my multicooker.

Many thanks to the forum for a bunch of useful information, for bringing a lot of interesting people together, as well as the moderators for their noble and hard work!

I think it's time to bring something useful from myself ... so I start introducing my device.

Rice maker with flexible control system = Rice multicooker Perfezza PR-55

Multicooker Perfezza

The purchase of the unit from this particular company was not entirely accidental.
Some time ago, when we decided to buy an airfryer in the house, and did not yet know its pros and cons, we were definitely aiming to take the cheapest grill (so that it would not be offensive if it was not useful). So the Perfezza Airfryer was bought, which perfectly demonstrated to us all the pros and cons of the Airfryer, works well and regularly helps us in the household. We were satisfied with the purchase.
We knew the advantages of the multicooker, therefore, after a long search and comparison, we aimed to buy a specific model from DEX. It was not difficult to find this slow cooker in online stores, but in ordinary stores the situation was exactly the opposite.
Having bypassed several supermarkets of equipment, we were already desperate to find something ... A big surprise was the multicooker of the Perfezza company, having our positive experience with the airfryer of the same company, the choice was made almost immediately and unambiguously :-).

In terms of price class, this multicooker stands out favorably - 600 hryvnia (75-80 USD)
There were also two more models of the same company, PR-56 and PR-57. I didn't go into the details, but the only difference that I found was the appearance (the color of the stainless steel cases, the displays are slightly larger). The price in each case increased by 100 hryvnia (13-15 USD).

They are guaranteed for 1 year.
Includes: multicooker, cooking bowl, double boiler, measuring cup, spoon, cord.

Power: 700W
Multicooker size (mm): 325x398x270
Multicooker weight (kg): 3.9
Cooking bowl: 5L
The bowl looks very solid (when compared to a bucket in a bread machine). The instructions say that you can wash in PMM, I have not tried it yet.
There is a mode for delayed cooking (completion of cooking at a certain time), until I figured it out.

Multicooker Perfezza

Well, here's a short excursion.
Thank you very much to the girls for not leaving alone with the problem in a difficult moment and giving the opportunity to immediately show the household the possibilities of a new family member :-)

I would be glad if the masters of the forum do not make many mistakes in further studies.
I would be glad if my studies help someone make a choice in favor of this or another multicooker.

you can, there is a program - a casserole.
SupercoW
And in which store did you buy this device?
I bought in komfi on petrovka (Kiev).

And you can fry and bake in it.
I haven't tried the oven yet, but it seems like it turns out to fry. Yesterday the first dish was navy-style pasta - the onion and meat were pleasantly gilded in the BAKING mode.

And the presented cartoon is impressive and inspires confidence by its appearance. There is not even a description on Photos, tell me - is it functionally different from Panas? Is it possible to cook everything the same as in Panas?
Well, unfortunately I can't compare with Panasonic - this is my first multicooker.
if you have time - wait, I'll test my beauty for a week and be sure to unsubscribe here.
while I can say - the first experiments made me very happy:
- navy-style pasta is just a pleasure to make (on RIS mode)
- ordinary rice turned out to be just wonderful - crumbly, I have never done this in my life (in the RIS mode)
- milk rice porridge is great (on the SOUP / Porridge mode)
- boiled 1.5 liters of milk with a bang! (on the SOUP / Porridge mode)

Quote: IRR

Are you sure you have a fixed one? Go check, you are still the only owner of this saucepan and we want to have an objective imf. But what if
checked. unfortunately not removable.
my lid consists of only one part, like in your first photo, only without additional detail :-)
only there is a smooth part, no relief.

I report on the first samples.

the very first were naval pasta.
a little sunflower oil + onion + minced meat - on the mode CASSEROLE. in this mode the default time is 50 minutes and cannot be changed. because after 20 minutes I just pressed CANCEL. the onions and minced meat became very nice color.

then she was a little foolish - she poured pasta over the eye (it was necessary to measure at least approximately) and poured it with cold water to slightly cover the pasta.
mixed and turned on the RIS mode. WHAT happens in the RIS mode and how long it takes is not known. the instructions say that after the completion of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW FIRE mode for 10 minutes.

while all this was done in the multicooker, I did not look. the result is a very neat pasta.

as already advised above, naval pasta would probably be more correct to cook on the mode CRISPY RICE, most likely this is an analogue of the PLOV mode in other multicooker.

***

immediately after that, it was decided to make rice. the most common din rice.
2 scoops of rice + water (up to the mark on bucket two) + oil - mode FIG.

here, too, did not follow the process. on a signal we got excellent rice, all the rice is separate and pretty :-).

the amount of rice that I did (2 cups) would probably be more correct to do on the mode SMALL QUANTITY OF RICE. as they say in the instructions, this mode is designed for cooking less than four glasses. in this mode, after the end of the first stage of cooking, the appliance will enter the COOKING ON SLOW mode for 7 minutes.

they are stupid ... they measure with rice - as in all rice cookers, there are several models, maybe there are 2
100% stupid, and they do not slow down weakly.
in Eldorado yesterday I asked about one cartoon, so the seller with a clever look tells me that it is 1.8 liters and also shows the divisions on the bucket. it's good that I read and told her that these are rice divisions.
and in the photo session yesterday, well, I directly persuaded the girl-manager to interest me in the purchase ... yeah ... no matter how ... I ask her leading questions anyway, and she answers in monosyllables and every other time.

I just made soup - at the bottom everything that is supposed to be (vegetables, meat, cereals) and added three liters of water on top. all this happened before dividing 10 cups (more probably it was impossible to pour). so the total volume of five liters is probably there.
SupercoW
today experimented with the regime Porridge / SOUP. As I understand it, this is an analogue of the MILK Porridge mode.
the instructions say about it: the default cooking time for porridge / soup is 1 hour. cooking time can be changed.

in the morning there was milk rice porridge. This one.
given the size of my family, the number has doubled. that is, the liquid turned out to be somewhere between 1.7-1.8 liters. I threw everything / poured it into a bucket, chose the desired mode and went about my business.
since I was well-read about the fact that milk porridges run off in some modes, I checked every 15-20 minutes. the porridge boiled and then continued to boil for the rest of the time. I could hardly boil. in my opinion - the very thing. light, small and rare bubbles.
on signal - excellent porridge, fully cooked. children asked for a supplement. :-)

then there was milk. it was necessary to boil milk for yogurt. I didn't dare to take three liters at once, I tried 1.5 liters.
I poured it into a bucket, put it back on the same mode, and again periodically ironed it. the milk boiled and continued to barely boil (as did the porridge).
the only caveat, can someone tell me WHAT happened ... 10 minutes before the signal, I opened the lid - everything was ok, at the signal I opened the lid in the milk there was a foam / crust like melted. TASTE MILK NOT MELTED AT ALL !!! I took it off, poured it over the milk - it tasted and color like ordinary boiled milk. what kind of foam is this formed ???

well, the next was soup. I searched for a long time, I could not find a recipe for some, then I spat and decided to make our favorite pearl barley soup.
while I was reading topics about soups, I wondered: why does everyone make soups on the STEWING mode ... I still made soup on the porridge / SOUP mode.
I usually make soups without frying, but this time I decided to experiment to the fullest.
finely chopped onion + finely chopped carrots + minced meat - BAKE mode for 15 minutes. I add pearl barley (cup 240 ml), potatoes (5 medium pieces), pour cold water (3 liters), turn on the desired mode.
periodically peep and as before I see a slight boil.
on a signal, I get a soup with fully cooked cereals and potatoes.
p.s. I understand that nobody needs photos? more interested in technical nuances?
SupercoW
what can I say ... the morning started today MEGA POSITIVE

Until today, I only had a delayed start experience with a bread maker. when you wake up to the smell of fresh bread, well, honestly, even the day is somehow different

PRE-COOKING SETTINGS
a function that allows you to set the device to finish cooking at a certain time. the instruction says that you just need to specify IN WHICH time to finish cooking, while checking that the current time is correct. but I did not find any options for setting the correct current time, therefore we believe that you need to specify the multicooker THROUGH WHAT time to finish cooking.

my HP works on the same principle, because there were no special difficulties, although if you just indicate the time, it’s probably more fun.
the only option to set the correct current time on the MB, which I found, was to turn it off and on at 00-00. then the automatic settings of the MB will simply coincide with reality :-)

filling the bucket with everything you need for milk rice porridge, choosing the mode Porridge / SOUP, press the button SETTINGS (the time starts flashing on the display), press HOURS / MINUTES set the time interval after which the cooking should end. in my case it was 8 HOURS. after that we press START and go to sleep.

by the time I crawled into the kitchen the porridge had already been cooked for 39 minutes and was heated :-). everyone had breakfast, were satisfied and impressed!

you can delay the start by 24 HOURS... this function works in all modes except BAKE mode.

And the foam on milk is always formed at a slow inactive boil.
Yes??? Here is such a straight line as if melted ??? I just never boiled like that, so I didn't understand why it was done like that :-)

baking will be more difficult ...
I'm just one of those people who buy appliances for the kitchen, not because they LOVE to cook, but because they DO NOT LOVE. I'm not very friendly with cooking, I try to do everything as simple and primitive as possible. but with pastries, I have already read, it will not be so simple ...

Quote: sazalexter

Once again, I emphasize that ALL multicooker has it, if you do not take special measures, the baking from the top is pale. This is not an oven! Be condescending!

Quote: May @

I watched the pastries, which are made in Panas, like ruddy on top, I'll go ask the owners.

it is turned upside down
although that's what I probably can do. unless of course it is indicative :-)
Quote: Lubashka

regular biscuit - apples, 4 eggs, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of flour. Baking is 45 minutes by default, the top is of course white, but everything is baked perfectly, it is better to open and take out 15 minutes after the end of baking, then 100% will not shrink and lag well from the walls
yesterday evening I also tried to make wheat porridge (artek) on water.
proportion 1: 2.5, increased by 3 times.
3 cups of cereals, 7.5 cups of water, salt, oil.
the girls in the recommendations said to put on the MILK Porridge mode (I have it porridge / soup), but I'm "competent" ... I decided to put on the RIS mode.
the porridge was certainly cooked and was tasty, but the lid spat terribly :-).
I chewed off the lid, made conclusions - apparently something terrible is happening inside the RIS mode, this mode is probably only suitable for whole grain cereals. next time I will do all sorts of cuts in the mode of porridge / soup.
I would have to think of what to put out ... to experience the SLOW COOKING mode. something simple and tasty.

+1

SupercoW, Thank you! Everything is very indicative. I liked the inactive boiling in the mode - porridge-soup. Stew vegetables in a cartoon - potatoes, carrots, onions and something else, a string with pieces of chicken (if you eat) with a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise (if you eat) or ketchup or just butter. It will also be clear how it is? After all, extinguishing is the most demanded mode. And, in general, I look at the bubbles - on porridge-soup, you can also extinguish the request, if suddenly, the extinguishing program turns out to be too active.

About baked milk, it is necessary to heat for a long time, in cartoons they put it at night or for 5 hours. But, such a foam, real, can not be achieved. A slow cooker is ideal for baked milk. It was discussed at the forum from all sides. And this was the verdict of the pros. FSE agreed

Well, here they are my crooked little hands and seemed. I could not put the biscuit on a plate, the poor thing fell out in three passes.
I did as Lubashka advised, after the end of baking I held it for another 15 minutes without opening it. but he still didn't want to get it. anyway completely baked.

and a little more by mode
- rice cooking: there is no exact time in this mode, about 50 minutes, you cannot change (after the end of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW mode for 10 minutes).

- Cooking a small amount of rice: there is no exact time in this mode, approximately 45 minutes, it cannot be changed (after the end of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW mode for 7 minutes).

- soaking rice: default time 25 minutes, cannot be changed.

- crispy rice: the default time is 1-30, can be changed to 2-00 (after the end of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW mode).

- steam cooking: the default time is 5 minutes, you can change it up to 50 minutes (after the end of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW HEATING mode).

- slow cooking (stewing food): the default time is 2-00, can be changed up to 20-00 (after the end of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW FIRE mode). if the water boils away before cooking is complete, the appliance will emit several intermittent beeps and automatically switch to keep warm.

- porridge / soup: the default time is 1-00, can be changed to 4-00 (after the end of the first stage of cooking, the device will enter the COOKING ON SLOW FIRE mode).

- casserole: default time 50 minutes, cannot be changed. maximum weight of ingredients for baking - 500g.

Who produces it? And who can tell the technical characteristics of the remaining 2 models of this company? I would be very grateful.

if you believe the consultant in the store, the manufacturer is China.
as for the other two models, I'm going to take another such cartoon as a gift. at first I wanted to take 55 model, but now it seems to be aimed at 57.
if everything goes well, by the end of the week I will be able to test one more model.

as for my multi - flight is normal :-) no shortcomings have yet been found.
I cook various types of cereals that I never got on the stove. very happy.

I read that in a slow cooker they generally do not warm up food ... in mine there is a REPEATING mode. Well, it's not without reason that they made it cool. 20 minutes and everything is hot.

I have a few questions.
1. Can the extinguishing mode be reduced, for example, 45 minutes?
2 Can the baking mode (casseroles) be increased, for example, up to 1h30min?
3. Is there a mains switch on the case, or just pull from the socket?
4. Is it possible to simmer milk in the stewing mode? Or a strong boil will not give? And on the soup mode, you probably can't make baked milk? How long can you set the maximum time on the porridge-soup mode?
5. For how many hours is the heating mode provided after the end of cooking?
Thank you!!!!
I purchased a DEX-50, and these points are incomplete in it.
SupercoW
1. Can the extinguishing mode be reduced, for example, 45 minutes?
no, the minimum time is 2 hours.

2 Can the baking mode (casseroles) be increased, for example, up to 1h30min?
no, there is a default time of 50 minutes. neither down nor up the time in this mode does not change.

3. Is there a mains switch on the case, or just pull from the socket?
only pull from the outlet.
at first it strained, and then I realized that this device I have to become on a level with my favorite bread maker and airfryer ... I went and bought an extension cord for 6 sockets, closed the stove with a lid, put a cartoon on top for permanent residence and I don't worry anymore now there is also a clock in the kitchen ...

4. Is it possible to simmer milk in the stewing mode? Or a strong boil will not give? And on the soup mode, you probably can't make baked milk? How long can you set the maximum time on the porridge-soup mode?
the maximum time on the Porridge / SOUP mode is 4 hours. for baked milk, you probably need more ...
I will not say exactly how boiling on the EXTINGUISHING mode is. You probably need to boil some water or cook soup in this mode.
I personally love baked milk, but everyone else in my family hates it. if not for this fact, I would have tried to do it for a long time.
I understand that baked milk should languish with barely noticeable bubbles for about 20 hours ??? Well, you can put it only at night ... and all my nights are busy with milk porridge (at a delayed start) :-)
Here's how I will take the second cartoon for the test, so I will definitely try to stop the milk.

5. For how many hours is the heating mode provided after the end of cooking?
it seemed to me that it would warm up until you turn it off ...
just yesterday, in the morning, porridge was prepared. whoever wanted to eat. I didn't turn off the cartoon, I didn't cancel the mode. then my mother called and asked to come to the porridge ... in short, I completely forgot about the cartoon, and by the time my mother arrived at 13-00 the porridge was hot (it did not deteriorate, everything is OK). so my girl worked hard all this time ... in short, she didn't put up something there. :-)

I just ordered a cartoon in the photo shoot, or rather TWO !!! Perfezza PR57 and Perfezza PR56. delivery tomorrow from 18-00 to 22-00. there will be new photos
we continue to experiment with milk porridge. For some reason, I did not find the dosage for milk buckwheat anywhere, therefore I did the same as milk rice:
buckwheat - 1.5 multi-glasses
water - up to mark 2 on the multi-bucket (~ 0.5l)
milk - up to 6 mark on a multi-bucket (~ 1l)
sugar - 2 tbsp. spoons + a pinch of salt.
mode Porridge / SOUP with a delay. excellent porridge turned out. dosage for a family of 5.

In general, we respect dairy buckwheat very much, with the advent of multi-dairy oatmeal, it faded into the background, giving way to cereals, which in normal conditions were very foolish to do.
girls, boys, well tell me how you get out! always cook in a cartoon at a time ???
someone cooks for several times? how do you store it later? how and when do you transfer / pour (immediately or when it cools down)?
Well, it's clear with breakfast - we eat right away, dinner is also more often obtained at one time, but I wouldn't want to mess with soup every day ...
yarli
Girls! I haven't heard anything about the DEX-55! Only model 10 know what it is. I didn't see her myself, only from stories on the internet, it seems that it differs only in modes. And that's it!
SupercoW In no case did I make a mistake! I'm staring at yours! I envy your milk porridge! On DEXe, I cook it in the stewing mode, but it boils quite violently, and in the rice mode too. Although I add 5-6 times more rice to milk, it boils away very quickly, and the rice remains unboiled. More than 45 minutes can not be kept, if only milk is taken 1: 8. And the extinguishing mode cannot be set for less than an hour, and during this time it will burn. Therefore, you have to turn it off yourself. That is why it does not work with a delay in cooking, you need to watch all the time. But he bakes extraordinary biscuits, and he stews it too great. Only with porridge Trouble !!!
Who cares, go to Temka about DEX.

Quote: yarli

And pilaf, probably on the "crispy rice" mode, you need to cook ?!
I put it on him
and considering that our family loves the simplest version of pilaf (I doubt that this can be called pilaf at all) ... I did not do any preparatory work at all (there are all kinds of frying). I just threw everything and turned on the CRUNCHING RICE mode.
after 30 minutes, it is already boiling, not boiling, but it cannot be called weak either.
after 40 minutes (just now) something similar to boiling, but no water is observed.

Quote: yarli

But I don’t understand .... where is the removable cover? I look and do not see! Or is it folding too?

this is PR-55 (mine), the roof is just smooth. nothing is removed. and as I have already been enlightened, if it sprinkles with porridge, I will dance around it to gnaw
Multicooker Perfezza

this is PR-57, the roof is embossed and this embossed part is removed (I have not yet removed it). from below you can see two small piptiks - this is probably for removing the embossed part.
I myself do not know exactly what to do next with it when to remove it - it's better to ask more experienced users.

SOMETHING LIKE PLOV
mode COOKING CRISPY RICE (1:30 hour)

the default time in this mode is one and a half hours, you can change from one to two hours.
I want to clarify a little, we love pilaf without any ingenuity. so I write as it is - don't be surprised
I took especially little meat so that it would not be a pity to throw it away if it burns out or does not work out.

chicken thighs - 2 pcs. (finely chopped)
carrots - 1 large pc.
onion - 1 large piece.
frozen mix like "lecho" - big zhmenya
garlic - 0.5 heads
tomato sauce - 2 tbsp l.
I threw the whole thing into a bucket, salted, poured water (6 multi-glasses), mixed. for some reason I thought it would be better to first mix everything with water, and then add rice.
after added washed rice - 3 multi-glasses. rice is the most common long. not soaked.
and immediately switched on the COOKING CRISPY RICE mode (1:30 h). time did not change.
the ratio of rice to water I got 1: 2

as I already wrote, after 30 minutes you could see a boil, not boiling, but you can't call it weak either. after 40 minutes something similar to boiling, but the water was no longer visible (second photo).

at the signal we got fully cooked rice and soft meat. it tasted exactly the way I like it and the way I never got it on the stove.on the stove, it usually took me about three hours for pilaf, and still some uncooked rice remained.
the husband said - a slob. he still wanted it to be like rice porridge - each rice separately.
another nuance - the bottom, of course, was heavily baked. did not burn, but stuck to the saucepan and was of course brownish.

now I think:
1) how to make pilaf not like a mess?
2) how to make sure that the bottom is not fried so much?

I consider options:
1) reduce the amount of water (leave the mode and time the same)
2) reduce the cooking time (the amount of water and the mode remain the same)
3) try to do it in the RIS mode (but what can I do with the amount of water)

what do you advise?

there is a smell, but only at the beginning. after washing and disassembling, the smell disappears

SupercoW, would you mind weighing the saucepans? Dex50 weighed like 750 g, but how many?
hmm ... I can hardly do it - there are no scales. but the HP bucket is lighter than the MV saucepan.

Quote: olnk2

And what are the possibilities and limits of the timer and changing the cooking time?
As far as I could see, the main ones seem to coincide with the time modes of my PR-55. I wrote on the first pages. if I find differences - I will write.

Quote: IRR

It is necessary to fry on the hottest program - for example, steaming the Oven on it too.
so I also sat and thought, what kind of program can be adapted for baking ... probably steaming will be most convenient - you can put it there from 5 to 50 minutes, and not as in my cartoon in the BAKING mode it is hard for 50 minutes and all.

what do you advise?
My husband is a specialist in cooking awesome pilaf! Here I am writing his recommendations!
1 Reduce the time to one hour, and reduce the amount of water to 1: 1.5. And given that such a strong evaporation of liquid does not take place in the MV, then 1: 1 is also possible.
2. Onions with meat should be below the rice head. Then the rice would not be burnt, the vegetables would not have been given, but they would have fried a little, which is what is needed in pilaf !!!!!!
I would be glad if it works!
SupercoW
PR-57 I specify by functions ...
so we have 13 functions, and 4 buttons to control them.

COOK button - makes it possible to choose different options for cooking rice. Well, I understand that this means not only rice, but any large cereal.
1) BASIC MODE - cooking time ~ 55 minutes, cannot be changed, delay is 24 hours.
in this mode, you can also select the TYPE OF COOKING (more about this below) and TYPE OF RICE (more about this below).
2) FAST COOKING - cooking time ~ 45 minutes, cannot be changed, there is no delay.
in this mode you can also select PICTURE VIEW.
3) ACCELERATED COOKING - cooking time ~ 35 minutes, cannot be changed, there is no delay.
in this mode you can also select PICTURE VIEW.
4) LOW AMOUNT OF RICE - cooking time ~ 45 minutes, cannot be changed, delay is 24 hours.
in this mode you can also select PICTURE VIEW. the mode is recommended for cooking 2-4 glasses of rice.
5) COOKING CRISPY RICE - the default cooking time is 1:30, can be changed in the range 1:00 - 2:00, there is no delay.
in this mode you can also select PICTURE VIEW.

COOKING TYPE button (TASTE SELECT) - active only for the BASIC mode of cooking rice (in the sense of porridge).
1) SOFT - compared to standard rice, the rice becomes soft.
2) STANDARD - the taste of well-cooked rice.
3) SOLID - compared to standard rice, the rice becomes hard.

PICTURE VIEW button - allows you to select the type of grain.
1) COARSE.
2) FINE-GRAINED.

SELECT FUNCTION button - all other functions are selected by this button. a button that turns a rice cooker into a multicooker
1) SOUP - the default cooking time is 1:00, it can be changed in the range 1:00 - 4:00, the delay is 24 hours.
2) STEAM COOKING - the default cooking time is 0:05, you can change it in the range 0:05 - 0:50, there is no delay.
3) SLOW COOKING - the default cooking time is 2:00, it can be changed in the range 2:00 - 12:00, there is no delay.
4) BAKING - the default cooking time is 0:50, cannot be changed, there is no delay.

if I understood correctly, then in the model PR-57 it is possible to set the clock and the delayed start works according to the principle of the end of cooking AT A SET TIME, and not AFTER A SPECIFIC TIME.
there is a memory for the DELAYED START function - the multicooker remembers two versions of your delayed starts.

like that, the machine did not seem to confuse anything ...

if someone has questions and suggestions for any specific programs - please go to the studio right away with a recipe by which this program can be checked.
sorry for the arrogance, but the unit should soon go to its permanent owner, therefore, first of all, I test those programs that she will use.
like there was a question about the modes of fast cooking and accelerated cooking. If you can tell by what parameters to determine whether it is a pressure cooker or not, I will check.

yesterday afternoon I put pilaf again. took into account the recommendations
- reduced water to a ratio of 1: 1
- put on BASIC MODE for rice (type of rice - STANDARD, type of rice - COARSE)

this time I did it on pork ribs.
rice - 5 multi-glasses.
water - 5 multi-glasses.
well, vegetables, all sorts of additives as usual

set, and we went for a walk. returned - the pilaf was already 4 hours on the PRESERVATION OF HEAT.
soft meat, each rice separately !!!
I still cannot believe that such a wonderful (wonderful from the position of our family) pilaf can be cooked in an hour. heat preservation probably worked too, but the main mode is 55 minutes

Regarding 56 mods, the consultant replied that there is a casserole mode. On the multicooker itself, such a mode is written. If it is not difficult for SupercoW, please look at the multicooker itself, where the choice of rice is an inscription of baking.

oh, guys, excuse me for being rude, but I would slap a slipper on ... these consultants !!! talk nonsense, confuse people ...

on PR-56 indeed there is an inscription BAKING on the face, but nothing to do with BAKING mode this inscription has no.

there are translation difficulties. in the instructions about this inscription is written completely different - not "BAKING", but "FIRM" !!! i.e. we are dealing with a choice COOKING TYPE (TASTE SELECTION), I wrote about this in the description of the modes of the PR-57 model.
and if you look at the picture of the muzzle in the instructions, then the name is written in English - "HARD".

just in case, here is an enlarged photo of the muzzle - Multicooker Perfezza , from which it is clearly seen that BAKING is located in the TYPE OF COOKING section, which means it refers to the preparation of rice.

p.s. today I will start testing the PR-56 model, and first of all I will check for the real presence of the BAKING mode.

SupercoW
SupercoW how are YOU happy with the multicooker?
VERY SATISFIED !!! really happy!
I do not want to say that this is the best cartoon in the world, but I have it for the first time, I have nothing to compare with, and with all this it does everything that is very important for me in the kitchen. I myself do not understand how it turns out that I can do everything in her - for me it’s just a shock !!!

I went to see Comfi alive and fell in love at first sight, especially in 56 mod I love stainless steel.
here I have the same situation, only with 55 model. as I saw - I understood MY !!! and I do not even regret a bit that I bought the first perfusion for 200 hryvnia more.

In general, I have all the equipment of famous brands, this is the first multicooker of an unknown company.
similarly !!! although all the time the words of someone from the forum are spinning in my head (if I'm not mistaken, elena bo), THAT TECHNIQUE DOES NOT BREAK THAT DO NOT USE. I remembered them to myself even before buying HP, and I never forget. therefore now I have become more optimistic about unknown firms.

and looking in comfi at the price from 800 to 1000 grams with a tail, they may not be afraid to buy.
yeah ... the comfy certainly went too far ... it turns out almost the price of a Panasonic

BUT YOU describe everything in such detail that I trusted you.
I really want you not to be disappointed !!!
I really do not like to advise. or rather, on the contrary - I love it very much, but I always restrain myself so as not to stay extreme, but here we got a fiery situation.

So if they don’t refuse to bring it to me at all, I will join your ranks and compare with Panasonic
Natawa, from you it would be extremely interesting (and useful) for me to hear comparative reviews !!! Since I have my first CF, my reviews and descriptions may not have been objective.
and you will really see the pros and cons. and everything will fall into place at once.

Congratulations on your purchase !!! I continue to follow the topic about dex, I also somehow liked this company. I will wait for experiments with a delayed start and milk porridge, otherwise I did not understand whether it turns out in dex or not.
olnk2
And the perfezza smiled at me.
firstly, the price is delicious.
secondly, the cover is removable
thirdly, the modes are quite good, even

at Dex -
1.this model is sold in Europe (although they understand in rice ...)
2.the instruction is very high quality
3. a collection of recipes - according to the principle "how they cooked it ..." - by the way, I saw an analogue of rice milk porridge there.
4.on the bourgeois forums this model is praised, rarely anyone complained ..
5.the timer in all modes can be set, except for one

I would have been rushing about for a long time if the photo had not removed them from the list. It turns out they cheated ...
SupercoW
latest experience with model PR-57 there was borscht. or rather some kind of dietary version of it.
cut all the necessary vegetables (beet, carrots, onions, potatoes, cabbage), threw them into a bucket of MV, added ribs, beans, salted and poured water (3 liters).
mode SLOW COOKING at 2:30 pm.
cool borscht turned out!

PR-56 I specify by functions ...
this time we have 10 functions, and all the same 4 buttons to control them, and besides, terrible DIFFICULTIES OF TRANSLATION.

COOK button - a choice of different options for cooking rice. there are fewer options in this model.
1) COOKING is the most common mode of FIG. cooking time ~ 55 minutes, cannot be changed, delay is 24 hours.
in this mode, you can also select the TYPE OF COOKING (more about this below) and TYPE OF RICE (more about this below).
2) FAST COOKING - cooking time ~ 45 minutes, cannot be changed, there is no delay.
in this mode you can also select PICTURE VIEW.
3) COOKING CRISPY RICE - the default cooking time is 1:30, it can be changed in the range 1:00 - 2:00, there is no delay.
in this mode you can also select PICTURE VIEW.

COOKING TYPE button (TASTE SELECT) - active only for the COOKING mode (this is the mode for cooking rice, in the sense of ordinary cereals).
1) SOFT - compared to standard rice, the rice becomes soft.
2) STANDARD - the taste of well-cooked rice.
3) SOLID / BAKE - compared to standard rice, the rice becomes hard. - this is what some consultants in stores have confused with the BAKING mode.

PICTURE VIEW button - allows you to select the type of grain.
1) COARSE.
2) FINE-GRAINED.

SELECT FUNCTION button - a button to control the other three functions.
1) Porridge / SOUP - the default cooking time is 1:00, can be changed in the range 1:00 - 4:00, the delay is 24 hours.
2) STEAM COOKING - the default cooking time is 0:05, it can be changed in the range 0:05 - 0:50, there is no delay.
3) EXTINGUISHING - the default cooking time is 2:00, it can be changed in the range 2:00 - 12:00, there is no delay.

in the model PR-56 I didn't manage to set the clock, so here (like my 55 model) the delayed start works on the principle of the end of cooking AFTER A CERTAIN TIME.

boiled milk in the afternoon on the mode Porridge / SOUP, as it seemed to me the bubbles were too small, therefore, for convincingness, I started the same mode a second time, but after 15 minutes I turned it off.
can someone tell me how to determine exactly whether the milk has boiled or not? in PR-55, I can clearly see that it is barely boiling, but boiling ... and here it is even weaker - therefore it raised doubts.

BAKING / BAKING mode in the model PR-56 NObut that's not a problem at all. I wonderfully fried meat in the evening on the STEAMING mode ... but more on that tomorrow

Quote: habibi

What is the difference between 55 and 57, except for the cover?
1. Well, at least the design, 57 will look more interesting.
2. The 57 has a removable cover and the inside of the cover is disassembled.
3. At 57, you can set the clock, the delayed start works according to the principle of finishing cooking AT THE DEFINED TIME, and you can set the memory for two delayed starts. at 55 there is no such thing.
4. at 57 (and at 56) there is also a ladle, at 55 not.
5. 57 models have additional modes (selection of the type of rice, selection of the type of cooking), which in my opinion are completely superfluous, but they are.

look like that's it...

ordered 57, I think I was not mistaken or replay ...
I see no reason to replay. 57 is a very nice and interesting model.
unless you choose the color of kitchen appliances and a simple little white one will suit you more (like me) - then of course it is better 55

Still interested in the casserole mode in 57 models. Have you already cooked?
well, in model 57, I have not tried baking anymore. just thought it was definitely worse than at 55 fail.

if I now had to make a multi choice of this company again, and if I already knew all the options and all sorts of little things, I would not be able to. to date, among the three models there is no one that I did not like - each has its own chip

and further! just looked at milk porridge in PR-56, put on a delayed start - the whole lid is stained. I will check this mode in the afternoon, what is happening there. if someone who bought will try the SUP mode, please take a look too, to know this is an isolated case or how ...
SupercoW
Quote: habibi

And what is so problematic in the 55th to wash the lid?
how can I tell you ...
in fact, it's not so very problematic, especially if there is already a technique in which you are accustomed (like my AG) and you know which side to turn out from, but using models with a collapsible lid, my husband said - let's give our 55, and 56 or 57 to ourselves let's leave

if there is anything to compare with, the removable cover is more convenient.
today the porridge for some reason spattered the lid of the PR-56 badly - she took it off and washed it like an ordinary plate under the tap with a sponge.

considering that the difference in price on the photo is minimal, I would take ... what a nightmare - I WOULD TAKE ALL THREE !!! I really can't decide, I like them all

RICE WITH MUSHROOMS, ONION AND CHICKEN WINGS (lazy option) in the model PR-56
mode PREPARATION (~ 55 minutes)

in this mode you can select the TYPE OF COOKING (SOFT, STANDARD, HARD) and the TYPE OF RICE (COARSE, FINE) - nothing has changed.

again based on the taste preferences of our family - no spices, roasting to a minimum.
I still a little did not understand how it was necessary to prepare the wings, so they did it as it seemed correct (we chopped each wing into 3 parts).

so:
4 chicken wings - put in a bucket on the mode STEAM COOKING, set it for 10 minutes, but since the lid was not closed, the time did not decrease, therefore it was possible to fry as long as necessary (held for 15 minutes).
then added one large onion, cut into half rings. after cutting the mushrooms and immediately tossed them into the bucket.
in total, it was all about 30 minutes on mode STEAM COOKING... the smell was fantastic, the color was cool. output: mode STEAM COOKING EXCELLENT MODE REPLACEMENT BAKING / BAKING, at least in part of the fries.

then poured 3 multi-glasses of washed long rice (the most common), added salt, poured boiling water on a finger above the rice. mixed, I thought it would be tastier.
closed the lid, turned on the mode PREPARATION with standard settings.
an hour later it turned out to be excellent crumbly rice. delicious to disgrace.

I am not against spices, everything is much simpler. 1 - laziness, 2 - elementary ignorance.

1 - this has been the custom since the times when the eldest son had to be transferred to a common table. of course, she began to make separate soups for him (such as dietary ones), and then she looked that everyone liked it so much ... well, if you like it, why take a steam bath and make two pots ...
when it would be possible to start adding seasonings - again the baby is in the house, again diet soups and cereals
and now there is another baby in the house, and even breastfeeding, and I don't know how the seasonings will affect the milk ...

2 - I just do not know the spices, which are useful and which are just an extra flavoring.there are also some seasonings for one thing, some for something else, and some ... in short, it's easier for me not to add at all.

I'm lazy, what can I add

For children, only alcohol every day (like sometimes it is possible) and smoking (as well as adults) are harmful, the rest is all for the benefit, well, maybe with the exception of pepper in a children's plate and that .. has not yet been proven, my 6-year-old has been consuming pepper for a long time I am against it, but I've been eating raw onions since the year, probably, eating just like that without anything like Pinocchio, a delicious treat for her, but she's afraid to take any fruit in her mouth

SupercoW do not be afraid of seasoning, there are no rules that this should not be poured there, but only here .. If you like the taste and smell, pour it anywhere
