Ingredients

Fish, frozen 600 g
raw potatoes 2-3 pcs
Raw carrots 1 PC
bulb onions 1/2 head
salt taste
Dried herbs, dill taste
ground pepper taste
Bay leaf 3 pcs (small)
Dough: Raw egg 1 PC
water 25 ml
vodka 25 ml
salt 1/4 tsp
wheat flour 300 g

Cooking method

  • Cooking dough for boats:
  • Beat 1 egg with salt, pour in vodka diluted with water, mix, add flour and knead the dough like on dumplings. Divide the dough into 3 parts and roll it into flat cakes
  • Filling:
  • Grate the potatoes on a medium grater and salt so that they do not darken.
  • Grate carrots on a medium grater and add salt, add dried herbs.
  • Prepare the fish, remove the bones (optional, but desirable) add salt and a little pepper.
  • Assembly:
  • Put well squeezed grated potatoes on a dough cake, put fish on it (squeezing a little). Put onion, bay leaf and carrots cut into half rings on the fish. Pinch the cake in the form of a boat so that the juice does not flow out. Place the boats in foil so that they do not spread.
  • Steam for about 45 minutes
