Zucchini burek (zucchini stuffed with feta cheese)
Category: Vegetable and fruit dishes
Cuisine: Bulgarian
Ingredients
Young zucchini or zucchini 3 pcs.
feta cheese 200g
eggs 4 pcs.
parsley, dill, flour and breadcrumbs, rast. butter.
Cooking method

Peel the zucchini (if the skin is thin, you can leave it) and cut into slices in length. Lightly roll each slice in flour and quickly fry on both sides. There is no need to salt so that the zucchini will not let the juice.
You can salt it after frying, but I don't salt it, because the cheese is a little salty.
Filling: grate cheese on a coarse grater, add finely chopped greens and mix with 1 egg.
Put the filling between two fried zucchini slices, squeeze well, then moisten in beaten eggs, roll in breadcrumbs, and then again in eggs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
Serve with sour cream or kefir mixed with chopped garlic.
The dish is tasty and satisfying just in season. I had an idea to make a casserole based on this recipe (so that there was less fried), but somehow my hands did not reach. Maybe someone will try.

Note
This is a Bulgarian cuisine dish. I found it a long time ago in a booklet of Bulgarian cuisine by the Sofia publishing house. I liked the homemade dish and got accustomed.

Lena, thanks! Zucchini with cheese is very tasty, but I haven't cooked it like that yet, I'll save it in bookmarks.

Irina, thank you for your attention to the recipe! Indeed, a very tasty dish. The photo, of course, is unfortunate, this was my very first recipe on the forum.
Try it! You'll like it!

Elenka, a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then ... Did you do that?
Elenka
Mouse, I didn’t, but I cooked rinisek, met somewhere in the subject of zucchini dishes.

Based on zucchini stuffed with feta cheese from Elenka69 (https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=13591.0) it turned out to be such an omelette casserole.
As in the original recipe, I cut the zucchini in length, rolled it in flour, and fried it. In MV, folded in layers - zucchini + filling + zucchini. Poured a mixture of 3 eggs with milk and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch.
Filling: I had little feta cheese - only about 50 g, but completely lonely pasta with mushrooms remained in the refrigerator - everything went into the filling + 2 tablespoons sour cream + hard cheese also 50 grams. "Baking" mode in MV 40 min.

Elena, Thank you. I don't really want an omelette, I'll think about my variation
