Chicken fillets from Venice

Ingredients

Chicken fillets 0.5KG
canned beans, red 1-2 banks
Bulgarian sweet pepper of three colors 3 pcs
chilli 0.5-1pc
carrot 3 medium
onion 2-3 heads
tomato 3 pcs more than average
huts 5-6 teeth
olive oil 3 table. spoons
salt, pepper, parsley, dill, bay leaf

Cooking method

  • 1) Cut the fillet into pieces.
  • 2) Cut the carrots into strips.
  • 3) Cut the sweet pepper into strips.
  • 4) Chili pepper (I take half, otherwise it’s a dragon taste) cut into small squares
  • 5) dip the tomatoes in boiling water, remove the skin, finely chop.
  • 5) Cut the onion into quarters into rings

  • Fry the pieces of meat in olive oil until golden brown and transfer the meat to another dish, or take a second pan and fry the carrots, onions, peppers in olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Then add the tomatoes and stew for another 3-5 minutes, then add the fried chicken fillet pieces. Simmer for 5 minutes. And lastly add beans, chili, salt and pepper (if necessary), add bay leaf. Simmer for another 5 minutes, then sprinkle the finished dish with chopped cloves and cover. After 10 minutes you can start "destroying" it.

I want to share a very unusual recipe. My children and I were this year in Venice at the carnival and lived in a hotel not far from Venice itself, where a woman from Ukraine works as an administrator. Once we had lunch and dinner (there were two in one) in the hotel restaurant and the children were served this dish. It was called stewed chicken fillet with vegetables. My boys do not please their parents with a good appetite, but then they ate everything and smeared the plates with bread, they even had to stop. This is not cultural. I thought, they say, the kids worked up an appetite in the city on the water. And the next day they refused to eat in Venice itself, they asked to try chicken again at the hotel. To be honest, I have tetanus. For an hour they didn't replace my children at this carnival!
They ate the chicken again with pleasure. And in the evening, they were already asleep, and I went out to ask the administrator a few questions. The woman welcomed us very happily, she was just ready to kiss us when she saw Ukrainian passports (oh, and not easy, for those who left to earn money). We talked, word for word, she told how she got here, about the owners of the hotel, Italians, but having three daughters with our names: Tanya, Natasha, Lina. And I, in turn, said about an interesting dish that my boys liked so much. And the receptionist gave me the recipe.

I think that it will be delicious with any meat. And what to call is not so important. The main thing is to like it! We ate with chicken in Italy. And we can't have pork! Alas.
