Ingredients

pears 1 kg
apricots 1 kg
sugar 2kg
Gelling composition 1-2 packs

Cooking method

  • Peel the pears and seed pods, cut into pieces and chop in a blender or food processor
  • cut apricots
  • remove the seeds and pour into a saucepan, pour 1-1.5 cups of water onto the bottom, cover and steam, then rub through a sieve. You can add sugar to the resulting puree, bring to a boil and close it in jars for the winter (in winter I open the jar and dilute the puree with water and get apricot juice with pulp). You can grind apricots in a blender or food processor.
  • Mix both purees, add "Confiture" and prepare the jam according to the instructions on the package:
  • add jam to fruit puree at the rate of 1 kg of fruit 1 kg of sugar and 1 pack of jam. I added a little less confiture as it contains pectin and acidifies the puree. Bring the puree with confiture to a boil, stirring constantly, let it boil for 1 minute, add sugar, bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly, simmer for 5 minutes and close hot in sterilized jars. The confit turned out to be incredibly fragrant, it smells like summer
