this is an analogue of YUMMI V, take it! good, if also inexpensive, then be lucky. You can bake and fry on any hot program, for example, standard (rice) or steam. It's great that there is extinguishing.

Girls I live in RB I have to order it in Minsk. But by the price you can judge the supra 4511 790000, and the scarlet 380000. I don’t know, I must probably decide on a scarlet, it still looks like a viscount. Well, I will study the program.
Clear. Power 700 for a 4-liter is good, which means that it bakes and fries. Usually, small 2-3 liters have a capacity of 600, large 5 liters - 800-900. Which means Scarlett is up to standards.

MATULA, Tell us more about Scarlett's multicooker if you bought it. And then there are no reviews on it anywhere else.
She is very pretty and the price is good. I'm thinking about buying or not. Confused by the lack of the "Baking" function and the combination of the "Steam" and "Stew" functions on one button. What is this active boiling on "Quenching"? And how do you like the quality of the saucepan? And the overall impression of the multi?
Pingvinus
I bought Scarlet's multicooker today.
I could not resist and wait for MATULI's comments.
I bought it for 304 UAH in the Dnipropetrovsk online store "Domobyt". Cheaper than the simplest rice cooker.
The cartoon is very cute, similar in design to a round Yummi.
A saucepan with a volume of 4 liters, if you pour water to the very edge of the pan, that is, a usable volume of about 2.5 - 3 liters.
The quality of the saucepan is the same as that of Perfezz, or even slightly worse.
The cover is not removable.
The smell of plastic from multi is much stronger than it was from Perfezza, but after rinsing and boiling water with lemon on "Steam Boiling" there is almost no smell.
The size of the multi itself, despite the 4 liter pan, is exactly the same as that of a large Panasonic or a 5 liter Yummi.
And also an excellent book with recipes is attached to the cartoon, colorful and the recipes themselves are well painted, there are not many of them, but for beginner multicooker such a book is just a godsend.

In general, my initial opinion is this: Scarlet's multicooker is certainly not ideal, but a great option if there is no financial opportunity to buy something more expensive, or I'm not sure if a multicooker is needed at all and you just want to try what it is. And, of course, a cool option for deviceaholics like me - there is a budget and brand new device in the kitchen.

🔗 - here is a link to the manufacturer's website, where you can see a rather detailed instruction for this multicooker (exactly the same instruction in the paper version comes with the multicooker).

Good news for potential multi-Scarlett owners. Dex's casserole is perfect for Scarlett!
Quote: Keti

Who cares, made measurements of the DEX saucepan.
bottom diameter from the outside 16.5 cm;
diameter at the top of the saucepan inside 21.5 cm; with sides 23.5 cm;
the girth of the saucepan at the top outside with a side 70 cm;
height 13 cm.

Like Keti (thanks to her for the exact dimensions of the Dex pan), I took measurements of my pan and they match up to a millimeter, and visually I immediately noticed a similarity to Dex's pan.

Here are the first experiments in the cartoon.
The rice turned out perfectly on the automatic "Groats" mode.

Pear Pie also worked well on Soup mode. It was baked in 40 minutes, and I did not restart the program. True, I did half the dose, so it was baked quickly and it turned out not too high, but very tasty.

Pingvinus, very pretty, it's a pity only the lid is not removable, but I had such a rice cooker - one-to-one lid, lasted 2 years (I used it several times a day for lack of gas). It cost, however, 460 grams in the Metro. The pan was worse and did not fail, the plastic in the lid cracked. But, I think, she did her job honestly.

Say a word for milk porridge, pzhl when you cook, or just for milk. What kind of program is there, careful? and how about stewing? why is it combined with steaming in the description? IMHO - our programs were there when translating

Girls! My slow cooker is already at home. : yahoo: In the morning I did a pier. oriental porridge, it turned out delicious,: nyam: the child ate up and asked for more. Now I sit and go over the recipes for what else to cook. I'd like to make baked goods.
Pingvinus
So, I continue the story about Scarlett's multicooker.
By the function "Milk porridge". Everything worked out superbly, there is a quiet boil, nothing escapes, does not boil over and does not burn. In Perfezza, my milk is also good at it, but still in 90% of cases I have to wash the lid and valve from the milk foam, and in Scarlett everything worked out perfectly, the lid is completely clean.
By the function "Stewing / Steam cooking". Here is a slight disappointment. It's still more "steaming" than "stewing". Boiling is quite active, rather like a "soup" function. But, I think that it is quite possible to stew with "milk porridge".
Despite the shortcomings of the "Extinguish" mode, I like this cartoon, I did not expect such a good job from such a cheap technique. Apparently mom and sister will have to buy a couple more Scarlets.
Matulya
I cooked a curd casserole on the "soup" program, set it for 45 minutes. it turned off after 15, I left it on the heat, then put it on "stewing" it turned off again after 15 minutes, during which time it had time to bake it turned out delicious. This is my first cartoon so I try everything.

Rina, I bought 2 more Scarlets in the Kiev Internet-store Optimart, for my mother and sister, at 258 UAH.
NadinSAThere is no "Baking" function in Scarlett, but you can even bake in a one-button rice cooker. I baked on "Soup", you need to turn it on twice, because the cartoon switches to heating after 15 minutes. True, I only baked for testing a couple of times, because I also have Perfezza 57 with pastries. But I think that for that kind of money, you can tinker a little with baking.
The rest of the Scarlett multicooker, in my opinion, is no worse than any other multi.
nadyanik
oh, trouble. I cooked rice with vegetables and my cartoon flowed through all the cracks (this is literally), the board became covered with sweat, and took it back. And the rice is wonderful. In general, what is unlucky and how to deal with it.

At first, the board was covered with perspiration, then water flowed from under the board itself, and then from under the edge of the bottom, where the piece of iron passes into plastic.

I cooked rice on the express, laid it according to the instructions. I think that this is a problem for this multi, if I come across the same option I will take with pleasure (only they had it in a single copy), but now I will check it on the spot.

shl.By the way, people! who knows, what is the return procedure if you take it through the online store? still return through the service? or directly to the store, where he took it after the conclusion of the service center ... (and this is a different city, as a rule)

as far as they explained to me in the store (if I did not confuse anything), then
- vzvrat poyuzanogo polomaty them, and they are sent to the service center for examination and already according to the results it is solved.
- or to the service center yourself, and then to them.

But whether this is the practice of all stores, or only in that particular one, I do not know, but I assume that this is not a one-off approach.
SupercoW
IRR, do you remember how I was with perfzza?
so there I was clearly told that a return of 14 days is if the technique was not used (just something did not fit ... color, size ...) and then straight to the store. if jambs were found during use, then only through the service center. the service tests and gives its conclusion: either it repairs and returns to the owner, or gives an act on the impossibility of repair and then with this act to the store for a replacement.

the point is, if they have not used the product, then they can then sell it again. and if they have already used it, then they must write it off (well, or somehow return it to the supplier), and this requires a reasoned reason (the reason is given by the service center).

what to do with the intercity, I will not tell you. you understand, each store has its own rules and "jokes".

I baked a pear and ginger pie today in Scarlett, I am experimenting with baking for those who doubt the possibility of baking in this cartoon.
First I baked in the "Groats" mode, and after the first shutdown of the multicooker, I switched to "Milk porridge" and left it on heating for another 15 minutes. It seemed to me that this option is the most successful, since on the "Krupa" the temperature rises more slowly and does not immediately form a crust at the bottom, which then prevents the multit from working normally.
Multicooker Scarlett SC 410

nadyanik, what a pity that you came across a defective cartoon. I hope it will be possible to change to a new one without any problems.
I have already bought 3 Scarletts and everything, t. T. T., is working fine. I still test them before giving them to mom and sister, but there are no problems yet, once again, t. T. T.
Pingvinus
MATULA, I have not done a frying yet, but most likely, the "Steam" or "Soup" mode is suitable for it. They seemed to me the hottest.

And decide on baking, it's okay if it turns out not quite perfect, the main thing is to understand the principle and sequence of actions in switching modes. Try first on an inexpensive set of products. For example, a manna with any fruit.
A very viscous and homogeneous dough, such as in the Black Prince cake (dough with jam), turns out badly, it immediately forms a crust on the bottom and the cartoon turns off every 3-5 minutes, as a result, the bottom is quite burned, even though the cake is baked. But the manna and pear pie turned out well, with only one shutdown. And start baking on "Krupa". Good luck.
Matulya
There is a timer on the PROGRAM Milk porridge!
Helga
Girls, share the recipes for baking (with all measuring cups)))) and the algorithm of the programs that you used. I wanted to bake a pie yesterday. and she knocked out the error E2 for me and turned off ((((So I didn't manage to bake anything, but I wanted so much ...
Pingvinus
Helga, I, too, after the first shutdown, every time gives an error E2, just the dough forms a crust at the bottom and the lower ten overheats. I unplug the power cord from the outlet, wait a minute for the cartoon to cool down a bit, turn it on and set the desired mode again. After the second shutdown, it no longer gives an error, but switches to heating.
What modes can be used for baking, I wrote in detail just 5-6 messages back and there is also a photo of a pear-ginger pie, it turned out great in Scarlett, and I took the recipe on this forum in the section Baking in a multicooker with exact observance of the proportions given by the author of the recipe ...
In general, I do not have an exact baking scheme in Scarlett, every time I bake by combining different modes and look for the most suitable option. Try it too. Good luck.
Matulya
There is no groats and express timer on the program. I haven’t cooked on the express train yet, but the time isn’t set on the cereal, the cartoon itself knows when to disconnect.

Girls, who has ever tried the "double boiler" function in Scarlet, for example, so that you can then cook a venigret? And how does she stew (potatoes with meat and .....)? Today my daughter and I saw her in the store, it looks like a sweetheart. It must be admitted that Panasonic will lose to her in this, but the saucepan is better for him, this is a fact. I deliberately touched both from all sides. And again I was confused. : girl_in_dreams: In the store, it costs 359 hryvnia.
Pingvinus
fani, I've tried all the programs already.
Everything works perfectly. The steamer works like in all cartoons, water boils in a saucepan, and food is boiled in a steam basket. It stews well on both "stewing" and "milk porridge". The cereals on the automatic program are also very good. And milk porridge is just great, nothing escapes or boils away. But there is no "baking" mode and, unfortunately, it is impossible to completely replace it, although I baked in this cartoon many times, but each time I need to switch modes and risk burning the device, so I refused to bake in it.
In general, for her money, she works just fine and is really very pretty. I have never regretted buying Scarlett's multicooker, despite the lack of "baked goods".

Pingvinus, and what will I lose without having a baking mode? I understand this is not an opportunity to make casseroles and biscuits?

The oven can be used in the "Groats" mode (or any other), but you have to switch modes, the cartoon will give an error and there is a risk of burning it, because it is very overheated due to the crust of the dough below. Although I often make curd casseroles in Scarlet, they usually have time to bake before the first shutdown. I know that the girls even baked in one-button rice cookers, but I love my technique dearly and I still try not to bake the heavy dough in Scarlett so as not to risk it. And then on a slow cooker. Several people complained that Scarlett broke down due to baking and now I am reinsured.

Congratulations on your purchase!
This cartoon comes with a good instruction and recipe book. If you are still new to multicooking then cook with them. I liked the fact that the recipes are adapted to the volume and power of Scarlett and there is no need to recount anything.
Cook rice on the "Groats" mode, in a ratio of 1: 2 or 1: 1.5 to water. Put a beet in the steam basket. I think in 40-60 minutes that rice is being cooked, the beetroot will also be ready.
Good luck.

I almost did it. Only water for rice was added in a ratio of 1: 1.7. Cooked on the "grits" mode. By the time it turned out 25 minutes. And I stood on the heating for about an hour, because I was doing other things. The rice turned out well and the beetle was cooked. I just want to put sweet millet porridge for the morning. Yes, it's scary somehow, what if the electrics are turned off and we will be left without breakfast.

Hostess girls awwwww! Please tell me how to wash the valve after preparing milk porridge. The porridge got into the valve and how to get it out of there.

Pull the valve out of the lid (just pulling up strongly when the lid is closed), it sits tightly in Scarlett, but do not be afraid, you will not break anything, just a rubber O-ring holds it. Then twist the lower and upper parts of the valve in different directions (it consists of two parts) and wash them. And collect as it was. Nothing complicated.
My milk porridge is prepared amazingly, even the lid does not get dirty. And stewing in Scarlett is a more active mode (it seemed to me so anyway) than milk porridge, so you should not experiment, first try changing milk and do not cook too foaming cereals.

And about the recipes for Scarlett, I don’t know such, well, except for those that went in the recipe book along with the cartoon, I take everything on the Internet, in principle, all recipes are suitable, just the names of the modes are different for different multicooker, but the principle of operation is the same. After a week or two, you will also stop paying attention to these little things and will cook in a cartoon like on the stove. After all, we are not looking for different recipes for each plate.
fani
PingvinusThank you very much for such a detailed answer. They chewed them straight and put them in their mouths. I buy goat's milk. For my daughter and what remains on the farm I use (I bake bread on it, I don't like water). But I added 3 cups of milk and 2 cups of water.

Pingvinus, of course, I tried to poke, to push on the scoreboard and nothing came of it. Some sticks don't glow anyway. But this does not affect the quality of cooking. Yesterday evening I made cabbage stew with sausages on "milk porridge", soooo nyama turned out. And in the morning I put milk buckwheat porridge, so my daughter did not like it. Says something is missing. She likes it better when she just boils buckwheat, and then pour milk.

So smoothly, they listed the 2 main disadvantages of Skarlushka - a 4-liter saucepan and the absence of the "Baking" mode. As for the latter, I will quote the well-known IRR on this forum: "This is an analogue of YUMMI B, take it! Good, if it is also inexpensive, then you are lucky. You can bake and fry on any hot program, for example, standard (rice) or steam. It's great that there is stewing. " And a 4-liter saucepan for a family of three is enough with a head. But, for example, I am not overjoyed with the "Milk porridge" mode - it does not run away, does not boil away.
And my friend, the owner of Mulinex CE400032, boasts of the "Pressure cooker" mode. But so the difference in price, sorry, more than 3 times in favor of Scarlett.
My main requirement for the multicooker was - I loaded the ingredients, turned on the program, and got the finished dish. And on this forum I have found and tried more than a dozen of these recipes. And Skarlushka coped with all 100.

I have already written about the milk a little higher. By the way, when (if) I will "torment" jellied meat in Skarlushka, it will be on "Milk Porridge".
As for the "Stew / Steam" mode, in my cartoon the boil is slightly more intense than in the "Milk Porridge" mode. But the preset time is also less (35 minutes versus 50, respectively). And the range of time correction is also different - 30 ... 90 minutes and 30 ... 120 minutes.
As for combining modes, for "steaming" a container-steamer from the multicooker set is used:

Although the first time it worked out perfectly, then I added somewhere 1.5 tbsp. water, and everything was extinguished, there were no crusts? Or is it not a matter of the amount of liquid? NataUp, Scarlett is a wonderful slow cooker, but you won't get a chance to fry in it.
You can only lightly fry, but rather even stew meat, frying, etc. on any program, I use the "Stew / Steam" program for this. And it is better to do this with the lid closed, since the saucepan in Scarlett is very light and if you do not have a kilogram piece of meat there, then it will not press the spring and will not heat normally.
I have been using Scarlett for six months now and have come to the conclusion that this is the ideal slow cooker for diet food. It perfectly turns out milk porridge, stews, cereals and steamed souffles, but you shouldn't bother with fries and pastries, although in principle you can cook, but there are too many dances with a tambourine, but Scarlett is not to blame for this, since the programs for there is no frying and baking in this cartoon at all.
