Eggplant like mushrooms

Ingredients

Eggplant
dill umbrellas
garlic
Marinade:
water 1 liter
sugar 2 tbsp / l
salt 2 tbsp / l
vinegar 9% 1 tbsp / l

Cooking method

  • Peel the eggplants, cut into slices. Soak in cold water for 1 hour. Then fry each circle on both sides. Put in a cup (saucepan) in layers: eggplant - chopped garlic - dill umbrellas. Pour marinade over. Put the oppression on top and leave at room temperature for 2-3 hours. Then in the cold for 1 day.

  • I decided to deviate from the recipe a little and sterilize the jars for 10 minutes. Just in case.

Note

It turns out really eggplants - mushrooms. They smell like mushrooms, the consistency is the same harsh. The taste differs quite a bit from mushrooms (with all the desire it is still eggplant). But this recipe brings the taste of eggplant as close as possible to mushrooms.
