Fruit dumplings made from curd dough

Ingredients

Cottage cheese 200gr
Butter 50gr
Egg 1 PC
Milk 250ml
Flour 500gr
Fruits (plums, peaches, apricots)
Sugar 2-3 st. l.
Salt pinch
Butter for lubrication 2-3 st. l.
Sugar for sprinkling

Cooking method

  • For the dough: mix soft butter, salt, egg thoroughly, gradually add grated cottage cheese with sugar, milk, flour - knead the dough, form a bar from the finished dough, cut into circles from it. Put fruit on each circle - halves of plums (apricot, pieces of peaches, cherries) - if the fruit is sour, then sprinkle them with sugar, form round dumplings. Dumplings are boiled in boiling water for 5-7 minutes. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon, put on a dish greased with butter and sprinkled with sugar - sprinkle the dumplings with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Serve warm.

You can take any cottage cheese, just adjust the sweetness to your liking. Dumplings with plum - with sourness, with peach - sweet. Very tasty and satisfying. You can sprinkle the dumplings with cottage cheese, ground with sugar.
