Ingredients

cherry 1 bucket
sugar taste

Cooking method

  • Eh, and cherry blossoms were born this year! Already they made dumplings, and cooked jam, and all kinds of compotes, but it still does not end and does not end. My godfather and I picked up another number of buckets, and she says: at least throw it away! I already have no cans, but it's only the beginning of the season.
  • Here is my natural hohlyatskaya greed prudence prevailed and I dragged a bucket of cherries into my hole to make marshmallows.
  • The recipe, in fact, does not differ much from any basic one. With the only difference that I boiled the cherries (having pulled out the seeds before that) for 40 minutes so that she let the juice out. It turned out to be a lot of it and then I fiddled with it separately. And the cherry pulp was ground in a blender and onto parchment, which was used to cover the drier trays. Since I was all covered in cherries, there were walls and cats running around on the occasion, there was no way to grease the paper with any oil. I put the cherries on the trays and set them to dry at 50 degrees. Periodically swapped the pallets. I dried it intermittently.
  • And when the time came to separate the pastille from the paper, then "sertse bytsya perestalo". Paste and paper made up a single monolithic whole! I tried to chew a piece - I spat on paper, like a camel in a zoo.
  • Maybe, of course, everyone knows this method, but by rummaging around in the tyrnet and finding it, I saved a lot of my own labor and throwing the pastille into the trash. You need to sprinkle the back of the paper with water and leave for 1-2 minutes! She starred, dear, as if smeared with butter! I wrapped it in paper and put it in a box.

Note

In the same way, while boiling, I made apricot marshmallow. She put it in the refrigerator. I will watch where she lives better - in a box or in the refrigerator.
Sugar was not added either to cherries or apricots. It turned out sour, but natural. The mother-in-law has already used the "circle" presented by me, adding finely chopped marshmallow to the oatmeal.

Cherry will give birth to something for a long time. We have probably not had it for a month.
I love cherries, but take out the seeds ... This year, too, all the walls were smeared with me.

Cherries have hatched in June. It's just that some, firstly, wandered around all summer, no one knows where, and, secondly, according to this principle, you can make all sorts of yaky juicy fruits, having separated the juice from the pulp.

Very similar to my grandmother's recipe. Then there were no electric dryers, and there was such a sun in the Krasnadar Territory.
Fruits (mainly plums and cherry plums) were boiled, then rubbed through a sieve and boiled again, or rather boiled down. When there was a thick mass, it was laid out on pallets and on the roof, in the sun. Sugar was never added. From the alachi it turned out - "pluck out your eye".
And you did it great: both marshmallow and juice !!! I will definitely use this recipe. Thank you

Light, what did you do with the juice? and when you cook a cherry, you just separated the bones and cook it in the juice that came running or do you need some water?

Girls, I've seen everywhere recipes for cherry marshmallow only from boiled berries. I could not understand why it was cooked. I decided to try to cook from fresh, and everything worked out for me! I just interrupted in a blender with sugar and that's it. Dried for 12 hours.
Here's my review:

Ira, no one said that it would not work out of raw. Pastila is made from everything :) just when boiling, cherries release a LOT of juice. I would even say VERY much juice. accordingly dries faster. but your recipe, kanesh, is more useful - all vitamins are in place.

I just rummaged through the entire Internet, and they cook everything, nowhere did I find information about what can be made from raw. Did, so to speak, at your own peril and risk

Thank you so much. The pastila was just a miracle. I also collected a bucket of cherries and squeezed the juice, but I didn't know what to do with the cake. Thanks again
