Apple filling

Ingredients

Apples 1 kg
sugar 300 g
water 0.5 cups

Cooking method

  • Chop apples at random, put in a saucepan (cup), add sugar and water. Bring to a boil, but do not boil, put in jars at once and roll up. Turn over and wrap.
  • No sterilization required.
  • Excellent filling for pies.

Note

Any apples will do. This year we have a huge harvest of them. This processing option is simple and fast. Apples are almost fresh.

I also prepare a similar filling, only I don't add water at all,MY RECIPE HERE .

Krosh, I agree, the recipes are almost the same.
Only in your recipe, the cooking process is slightly delayed due to the time it takes to separate the apple juice. And they boil a little.
In my opinion, the more raw they are, the tastier for pies.

Now I will scour the shops in search of the seasoning for the apple filling, which you use in your recipe

Hope, thanks for the recipe. I didn't know this before, I always boiled apples for a long time, but now it's done.
Antonovka made a sample of 2.2 kg of apples, it turned out 6 half-liter jars and a little on a plate. Tried the leftovers the next day, yummy. I will do more, because this year the apples are dark and dark, and your recipe is the fastest and most non-blemish that I now know.
And if you reduce sugar, even if there is a little of it, will the filling stand? I have very sweet apples and I think they will turn out very sugary.

Olima, I'm glad I liked the recipe!

On account of reducing the amount of sugar, I don't even know what to say. This can be found out empirically. If you reduce it a little, by 50 grams, then I think it's not critical.

Nadia, I came to you to cry, my apple filling is over. Oh, and she is good in yeast pies and she also really liked it in grated pie.
This year, if only the apples are ugly, I'll roll 100 cans, or better 150
Thank you again for such a simple and easy recipe.

Olima, thanks for the nice review! Have a good summer! 🔗
