Fettuccine with Tambov ham

Ingredients

Fettuccine 500 g
Tambov ham 400 g
Bulb onions 2 pcs.
Ground paprika 1 tbsp. l.
Vodka 2 tbsp. l.
Butter for frying
Salt, pepper to taste

Cooking method

  • Peel the onion, cut into thin rings and fry in oil until golden brown (about 10 - 15 minutes).

  • Cut the ham into long thin strips, fry in oil over high heat (about 4 - 5 minutes). Add paprika and vodka, simmer for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat, add ready-made onion and stir.

  • Boil the fettuccine as indicated on the package. Drain the water and add the ham and onions to them. Mix everything well. Salt and pepper to taste.

Time for preparing:

30 minutes

Note

The recipe is taken from the book "About Pasta". The technology has slightly changed, but the taste of the dish has not changed at all. I highly recommend it - it's fast and tasty.

I do not advise replacing the ham with ham (by the way, it is not advised in the original recipe either). With a ham, the dish turns out to be much more fragrant and more whole (I would say so).
