  • First, we need to bake a sand base.

Tart with lemon cream and meringue
Unfortunately, this book has not yet been translated, but I found out about it thanks to the movie "Toast". After watching which I really wanted to try this culinary miracle called "Lemon Meringue"
Tart with lemon cream and meringue
-This is the best lemon meringue you have ever tasted. This is the best lemon meringue anyone has ever tasted. If I were you, son, I would give up. You will never even be near!
-What do you add to make it so airy?
-If you want to bake lemon meringue, honey, you must have your own recipe!

So I propose for your judgment my own recipe for lemon meringue.

Moskvichk @
I repeated your recipe! Thank you! Everyone really liked (y) The taste is very delicate and not at all sour. Only the meringues I have left on one more baking sheet - just a bezeshek)))) Can I put orange and blueberries in the soufflé instead of lemon? And tastes will be different. There was no corn starch - I put potato starch. Photos from the phone. Sorry for the quality.

If by soufflé you mean lemon cream (Kurd), then adding orange or blueberry it will no longer be lemon meringue, but something else and it will be called differently. Something I haven't done for a long time. This yummy needs to be repeated.
Moskvichk @
well, probably there will be blueberry or orange meringue))))

Doubters, cooked yesterday, very tasty. I advise you to cook. Appreciated even by a husband who does not like sweets.
I took only 5 eggs (village) and did not find corn starch, replaced it with corn flour.
Wonderful tart.
