Casserole based on Achma

Ingredients

Lavash thin 3-4 sheets
Homemade cottage cheese 400 g
Salted cheese 150 g
Mozzarella 130 g
Egg 3 pcs.
Tarhun small bundle
Kefir (preferably non-acidic) 500 ml
Salt taste
Butter for mold lubrication

Cooking method

  • For a casserole, you need a medium-sized shallow pan (~ 25x35), grease it with butter.
  • Shake kefir with 2 eggs, beaten with salt.
  • Crumble the curd into a deep bowl. Grate there cheese and mozzarella on a coarse grater, mix everything with 1 beaten egg. There is no need to salt, since feta cheese provides enough salt.
  • It is more convenient to work with pita bread with scissors. Try on the shape on a sheet of pita bread and cut several layers according to the size of the bottom, and one layer - in such a way that you can line them with the shape completely with sides - this will be our bottom layer.
  • Rinse tarragon, dry, tear off the leaves, you can chop them a little.
  • Dip a large bottom sheet of pita bread into the kefir mixture and put it in a greased form. Sprinkle sparsely with the cheese mixture, do not lay out the cheese in a continuous layer, it is better to scatter it in islands so that the lavash shines through.
  • Dip the lavash again (now cut to the size of the bottom of the mold) and put it on the filling.
  • Sprinkle with cheese and whole tarragon.
  • We continue to alternately lay out the moistened pita and cheese until the ingredients run out. You need to finish with pita bread.
  • Pour the rest of the kefir mixture on top.

Time for preparing:

And although in the program this dish was proudly called Achma, I personally did not dare to assign this Adjarian name to a simple casserole
