I listened to you on the forum and yesterday bought a dryer Bomann DR 435 CB Germany for 350 hryvnia (about 44 USD). The simplest, no bells and whistles. 250 watts for 5 pallets.
Immediately I decided to try to dry everything that is in the garden: cabbage, cherry plum, pear, apple, apricots, raspberries and hedgehogs. The smell of raspberries is incredible.
I'm waiting for the results.

Shurshun , isn't it BOMAN by any chance? I have one, in August I bought it in our Metro. Not a dryer, but a "beast"! Dries quickly but buzzes infection, although I put it on the balcony. Summer is all open. The husband said that once again she would "yell" like that - I would throw it out.
And so - smart girl! I'm happy with her.

I also have BOMAN. buzzing. hums like a helicopter squadron but dries well. and the money costs a minimum. so the hum can be survived.

I also bought a Bomann 435. It really buzzes, but if you put the doors in the kitchen at night and close the doors, then the rules.
Even the lower layers dry faster, I swap the upper and lower ones. I've already tried a bunch of things to dry, now I'm waiting for mushrooms.
In general, for a beginner, that's it.
I also made a video review:
