So I joined you. It so happened that I myself work in a store that sells household appliances, I never bothered with dryers, but then I read it first on the trunk, and then I wanted the whole branch from beginning to end. Looked, bah! so we have them on sale, immediately bought it for myself. It looks like this has not yet been described, ZELMER 36Z011
Here is a brief description of it, if anyone is interested:
with microprocessor control - The microprocessor controls the operation of the device, taking care of keeping the air at the same precise temperature. Thanks to this, all products are dried evenly under ideal conditions.
two-stage power adjustment - Depending on the amount of product, the power of the device can be adjusted, and when drying a smaller volume of product, we use less energy.
double overheating protection - An automatic on / on switch and a temperature limiter protect the appliance from overheating.
high power (300W) - Thanks to the high power of the device, the drying process is faster than in the case of dryers with less power.
4 sieves
Half Power - 150W
The design is probably quite standard, the fan is at the bottom, made like this. that the air goes in a circle from the side, from above it is protected from drops, trays with a mesh, there are no additional inserts like on the isidra.

I have ZELMER, my son gave me a birthday present in February this year. If, honestly, I was surprised and discouraged by such a gift, I didn't really understand why. Thanks to the beloved forum Bread Maker, everything was found, and about the dryer too. I decided not to wait for summer, but to use the tips given here, and dried apples, bananas for testing, made an orange-tangerine-lemon pastille. I used a little "unconditioned" which they sell at us for 50% cheaper in great abundance. I liked the device itself, 5 tiers, two modes, we have already written about it here. I am very pleased and appreciated the gift, I look forward to the summer, because the trial versions of the fruit disappeared quickly.

Girls who have Zelmer 36Z011 ............... oche you need a drying table, well, reset pliz

Svetik_, I do not have a Zelmer 36Z011, of course, but I want to answer you.
Why do you need this drying table? Don't worry about her absence. From experience I can say that the same products, at different times, are dried for a different amount of time.

For example, I've just finished drying dried apricots. The recipe is the same, but last year I spent a third less time on it.

It all depends on the juiciness of the products, including. There is a difference, for example, in what kind of tomato you will dry. There is "cream", which practically has no liquid, and, accordingly, dries faster than other varieties.

Another point is the size of the products added to the dryer. Whole strawberries take much longer to dry than thin slices.

Also, everyone has a different criterion for the readiness of dried vegetables and fruits. Someone loves drier, and someone juicier. This also affects the drying time.

So, better, try to navigate through the process. Dry everything in one season, and you will understand what and how.

The table for my dryer lies somewhere, I don't even remember where, and, believe me, I never had a desire to find it. Somehow everything turns out great - which is what I wish for you!
Qween
Svetik_ , for me, a full greenery dryer dries in 4 hours.I, once, during drying, loosen and mix it.

Of course, plums take longer to dry than apples and pears. If you dry different fruits, then put those that are juicier closer to the edge - they dry there earlier.

It would be good to boil the plums with soda boiling water. Then the wax bloom is washed off from the skin of the plum, and drying will be more fun.
Per liter of water - 1 tsp. with a heap of soda, only do not put the soda in hot water (only in cold water - then bring to a boil).

If you cut the plums into pieces, cut them after scalding.

And today I became the proud owner of a Zelmer fruit dryer.
But when I looked after her, it cost 459 UAH, and when I came to buy it costs 499 UAH.
I stood for a long time and wondered which one to buy Zelmer or Bomann
I liked Bomann outwardly, it was small, white, the fan was on top, the air should be evenly distributed from behind the inner hole. And the bottom marshmallow tray can be used. But when we compared them in sound, I realized that Zelmer is quieter. Well, Zelmer Poland, like the quality is better, and Bomann China. I hope I will not be disappointed.
I want to update and try to dry the cherries. The fact is that I made candied cherry fruits, I put them in a jar and they let the juice in, so I want to dry them out, but I'm afraid that the juice can reach the fan.
I poured the cherries from the jar so that the juice would drain, but they are so wet that I'm afraid, I took a chance, put them on trays, nothing seems to flow
I read the instructions and did not find how many hours the dryer can work? When to turn it off?

I have a Zelmer drying ... I really like it .. all winter I bake pies and bagels with fruits that I have dried in it. And sun-dried tomatoes are just a song for pizza and scrambled eggs
It happens in the Metro a markdown of bananas (inside are normal, and the skin has darkened a little) I immediately take 4-5 kg and dry it in rings overnight, then in a container and a freezer ... we take it out when we want and eat it .. it turns out one-to-one dried bananas that are sold in bags

Hello everybody! I report my Zelmer dryer. At first I decided to replace it, then I decided to hand it over. But I also want drying, and I handed over my old rattler Bomann (although it rumbles, it dries well, or rather dried it) this week for repairs, the results will be done in a week, if at all. I went to the store, but they do not want to accept it, they say change it - and that's it. I decided to check a couple more copies. I came to the store already thoroughly prepared - I had an electronic multimeter (borrowed from my father, a radio amateur) with a temperature measurement function. We tested a couple of specimens - one of them quickly gained temperature, all four trays were approximately equally hot. So I decided to take it. Works today, dries apples. The difference with the first dryer (the one that I handed over) is noticeable to the naked eye. I hope we will work well with her and everything will be OK! (tfu-tfu-tfu over the left shoulder)

Good day to all! I would like to share my impressions of my Zelmer dryer. It was pleasantly surprised that there is no obsessive hum and buzz, and the sound is like a working good fan, well, maybe a little louder, you can not put it on the balcony. On the second mode, apples are ready in 7 hours (in the previous Bomann of the same size, apples were dried for 10-12 hours). Lemongrass pears cut into 4 parts in layers (that is, rather plump, about 1 cm thick) are dried for about 12 hours. So I am quite happy with the drying work. I haven't dried anything else yet, but I will definitely. Moreover, today I bought a Borner combislicer with a fruit holder, I will try the advertised vegetable cutter.

Congratulations ! Let it work reliably!
When I dried apples, and especially pears last year, my Zelmer dryer worked for 10 hours without a break, and even 6-8 hours every day. She is very smart.

my dryer Zelmer worked for 10 hours without a break, and even for 6-8 hours - this is every day.
It's clear. I wonder if, for example, can I leave it for a day?
Thanks for the congratulations.
Girls, I can't insert a piece of the quote, only the whole is quoted, I then manually remove the unnecessary.

I think that any technique needs a break - after all, an electric motor can burn out. At least after 12 hours you need to turn it off for half an hour and then turn it on again. IMHO, of course.
irysska
My dryer has been working for a week now, but it only dries apples, because this year there are no pears at the dacha, no plums at all, there were no apricots either. Yes, and there are few apples, but I will definitely dry the bag on the compote.
I called the service center today, I wanted to buy 2 more pallets - only on order. They should call me back and tell me the price, otherwise 2 pallets will be like a drying floor

Girls tell me how much apples should be dried? Hours 7 is narrower and uneven. what should be the temperature on mode 2, barely warm air. Is that so?

the drying time depends on how the apples are cut - I cut them into 5-6 mm slices and they dry in 6.5-7.5 hours
and in the second mode, the air near my dryer is quite hot, the trays heat up well
do not forget to swap pallets during the drying process
in general, I'm happy with the dryer

Yes, RolandS, indeed, Zelmer is produced exclusively by Poles without the participation of Chinese brothers. At first I had a Bomann dryer - a rare dirty trick, and Zelmer - I'm now pretty good By the way, I have the same brand of juicer tiddly for a glass (you can see it in my profile) - what a clever she is, according to her passport - 11 minutes of continuous work - and she really works like that - I'm delighted with her
By the way, I didn't like banana chips, but dried lemon pears are for me
Bug
Good people, tell me, please, I want to buy a dryer, I looked after two Isidri and Zelmer. Help - is there a fundamental difference between them (except for the price)? I would like to buy a reliable and worthwhile device, in the summer my mother has a lot of vegetables and fruits, we present all our friends. I want to buy a dryer so as not to buy tasteless strawberries and pomodors in winter. Thank you so much.

If you need reliable, then Isidri

Thank you for your help, I will buy izidri, it is already priced at 7500 in Moscow. Thanks again.

And since I was the first, I answered Isidri As a user of Isidri I am completely satisfied with her.

And what you choose is your personal choice, I will not argue

Irish, I agree with you one hundred percent! I have 5 different Zelmer vehicles, and there is no bad one to say. Reliable, high quality and acceptable in terms of price category (which cannot be said about izidri) At first I had vinis, a rare muck (Money down the drain). I bought a selmer, and I don't regret it! My drying works from spring to late autumn, from parsley to drying taverns! And to say categorically that something better is impossible, the price also has a big role.

Recently I became the owner of this dryer. Immediately I tried to dry small strawberries. By the morning I got sour berries. But these are not wines of dryers, but of berries, since they were crumpled and not of the first freshness.
Now I'm waiting for the next harvest to evaluate my purchase.

Always look at our recipes in advance, there is sufficient experience https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=174.0

Crumpled berries are not a problem, the main thing is that they do not give a sour smell.
First, the berries must be thinly cut (chips) or mash with a crush (marshmallow).
Whole strawberries can be DRIED after the sugar syrup.
Natali06
You can insert your own 5 kopecks. If you dry something juicy, you need to look after the drying, give more temperature, change the pallets from time to time. And most importantly, do not get upset by the first failures, and do not blame the drying. Everything will come, but with experience.

Thank you all for your support.
I read all the reviews, but I forgot something a long time ago. And there was no desire to re-read at 11 pm.
Yesterday I finished drying a slightly dried fish - it turned out well. Next in line are raspberries, cherries and apricots.
I believe that my dryer and I will become friends, even if not immediately.

Good afternoon everyone! I also bought this dryer. Apples were dried yesterday. Sliced about 0.5 cm thick. I put it in the dryer and turned it on at 11-00 in the morning. Turned off at 22-00. Touching the trays with your hand, they are barely warm. The instructions do not specify the drying temperature. I want to ask a question. What temperature should be drying? I have doubts about the health of my dryer. Thanks in advance for your reply.

If you dried in the first mode, then there is a low temperature and the trays will be barely warm. And in the second mode, the trays are pleasantly warm and the temperature is about 60-65 C.

Check the power of the dryer according to the passport. Your dryer has a power of 300 watts.

And now we read and compare in the topic Choosing an electric dryer - recommendations, what to look for when buying

9. Passport capacity.
The power of electric dryers ranges from 165 W to 1000 W. Low power electric dryers have only a heating element, which is most often located at the bottom, but there are models in which it is located on the lid.
With device in 300 watts you can easily dry food on three floors, but for 6-7 trays you need to have at least 500-600 watts.
Power of 500 watts, for a large number of trays and high-quality drying.
A power of 1000 W and a mode of 55-70 * C will allow you to cook meat and fish, basturma, sudzhuk and balyks, goulash and stew in an electric dryer
The high power of the electric dryer allows you to make a large bookmark of fruits on pallets, in several rows, to increase the actual capacity of the trays.
Ask the seller what resource of the electric dryer motor? The motors can be designed for 2-3 years of continuous operation, and, moreover, around the clock, then it can be replaced in the Service Center with a new one, and can the Service Center of the model you buy can do it.
