Dear fellow dryers! I got an e / dryer Sukhovey. The question is, is it possible to make pastille in it? There are no special pallets for this, as in Isidri. But maybe you can think of something? I just have no idea what the tray for the pastille should be, can you use paper for baking?
Apples are dried almost around the clock, relatives, neighbors and work colleagues really liked the apple chips - they are not nutritious, healthy and very tasty.

Ruzhanna,
I make marshmallows in the same drying (dry wind) as yours. I cover the grates with baking paper, without even cutting out the mugs, fold the edges a little and spread the fruit puree (I made it from plums, dogwood, figs. I liked plums with walnuts the most). Everything dries perfectly. If I later remove the paper carefully, I reuse it.

Pastila, smeared with a layer of up to a centimeter, is dried for about a day. I have 5 pallets, I load at the same time, during the drying process I change their places - the lower ones dry faster. I connect the dryer to a timer, which turns it off to cool down, and then turns it on so that the process does not interrupt when I am at work.

Electric dryer "Sukhovey M" with 5 trays (dryer for vegetables, fruits, berries, mushrooms and herbs)

650.00 UAH
Dryer Sukhovey M- (5 pallets) - a lightweight version of the dryer with a plastic body, used for drying fruits, mushrooms, vegetables, berries

The electric dryer is designed for drying at home and in the country: vegetables, fruits, berries, mushrooms, medicinal herbs, rusks, meat, fish, etc.
Brief description of the electric dryer Sukhovey-M

Dryer Sukhovey M is a simplified model of an electric dryer with five trays.

A distinctive feature of this model is that drying is carried out by means of vortex flows of heated air, which is supplied to each pallet separately. This device makes it possible to use the model not only for drying vegetables, fruits, berries, mushrooms, herbs, but also for drying fish and meat, while fully preserving all the taste of products, vitamins and active substances. Drying efficiency is not less than 80% by weight of the product.
The main differences from the usual Dry Wind:

* The body and the engine compartment of the Sukhovey M electric dryer is made of heat-resistant and fire-resistant plastic, while the lower part of the usual Sukhovey is metal
* In "Sukhovey M" there is no temperature regulator, the dryer is constantly working at the optimum temperature.
* Dry wind M has a more modern look
* Optimized air flows inside the dryer

All these changes made it possible to reduce the weight of the dryer, reduce the overall dimensions and give the device a modern design. At the same time, the Sukhovey M dryer is also effective for drying fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, berries and herbs.
Technical characteristics of the Sukhovey-M dryer:
Dries at least 80% of the total mass of the product

* 5 levels of pallets - recommended loading of one pallet - 0.7 kg
* The body of the dryer is made of plastic
* Overall dimensions, mm:
width - 342
height - 270
* Dryer weight: 3.5 kg
* Working volume 15,486 l.
* Power consumption: 450W
* Features: equipped with a fan.
* Manufacturer: Schetmash (Russia).

Benefits of Dryer Dried Products

* Ability to store. In a sealed container, dehydrated products can be stored for up to 1 year. (After drying in a dryer, the product is reduced in volume by 3-4 times, in mass by 4-8 times compared to the original product.)
* High quality of the products obtained. If the dried product is soaked in water (10 - 20 minutes), it will restore all its original properties: taste, color, shape, natural aroma.
* Ease of eating. After you soak the dried product in water, you can subject it to any cooking process: frying, boiling, stewing, etc., and you can also eat it raw.

Dryer for vegetables and fruits Sukhovey-M - excellent result at minimum cost!

================================.

Pastila should be done in electric dryers with side air blowing (Sukhovey M, Isidri).
A special mesh is sold for making marshmallows, but it can also be replaced with baking paper.
Dryers Veterok and Sukhovey (not to be confused with Sukhovey M) are excellent dryers, but they are not intended for making marshmallows.
lirandelle
Hello! I want to share information: Sukhovey MP and Sukhovey are practically structurally the same, both there and there are no side blowing of pallets and as a result, it will not work to make pastille, but these models have temperature regulators. And Sukhovey M - has side airflow and does not have the ability to regulate the temperature (it is already programmed around 60 degrees). Maybe someone will find it useful to compare this characteristic. I myself have a dry wind MP 8. Maybe there are like-minded people among the members of the forum? Can anyone share their experience of drying on this machine? What if someone and on the MP managed to make marshmallows?

Good afternoon everyone!
We purchased a Sukhovey-M dryer for 8 pallets. I share my impressions:
1. The dryer is nice, yellow and orange, the holes in the trays are medium - black currants do not fall through, red ones can fail.
2. The blowing temperature is not regulated, I pressed the button and that's it (which makes me happy too).
3. Low pallets - I laid half apricots, could not close with another pallet, only under the lid. Another thing that is alarming is that the pallets are not always inserted end-to-end, that is, you still need to try to insert one into the other.
4. It works quite quietly - the children chatter louder At first there was a feeling that the electric kettle should boil (by the sound), then I got used to it
5. The lower part is closed with solid plastic, compared to Veterok, which has a metal lower part with petal-shaped holes. The last time I made the marshmallow, it turned out to be very liquid, it spilled a little, but I was calm about the engine and fan
6. Together with the marshmallow, I put the berries to dry, and did not finish drying them - they put them on a baking sheet in the oven. Conclusion - I plan to dry only marshmallows in the dryer and I'll try dried pears, zucchini, etc. The apples were also very dry, I didn't like them - last year they dried them in a bathhouse with their parents, delicious with the aroma of a bathhouse, mmm ...
7. It takes a lot of time and nerves to prepare the marshmallow for drying, but what is, that is, we cannot afford Isidra yet.

The main drawback is no specials. tabs for marshmallow - I would buy it even for a lot of irrational money, because cutting and stacking a lot of time eats up)) I made a conclusion for myself - a wonderful dryer just for marshmallow, but not for drying vegetables and fruits. The children still ate banana chips with pleasure - they dried out very easily and quickly, but given that my goal is to preserve summer vitamins until winter, then drying bananas all year round is for pampering ..

The dryer has never failed in a week of work, it works like a clock. I do not leave it turned on unattended, like all electrical appliances in the house except for the refrigerator. Works without shutdown for at least 10-11 hours.
If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer.
I took HP from an internet store an hour ago, I'll go to other topics

In pursuit of the post about Dry Hove (and probably any other dryer) - in my opinion, such a thing is more suitable for those who have a summer cottage or a constant supplier of a large amount of food for drying. Such a thing eats up a lot of electricity, and a separate place is needed for it. It makes no sense to dry 2-3 pallets. You need to cook a large amount of jelly all the time and dry it all at once on all pallets. Although the marshmallow turns out to be delicious, and in any case, there is much to do with "substandard".
Marika-san
Good day everyone! And I recently got the same Dryer M for 8 pallets. Girls, I did not write a review about it here, because it seems that the dryer is known for a long time in the domestic market, and I don’t have a fotik now. But I read "cry from the heart" Knopochki about what is difficult without marshmallow sheets and I hasten to share: Perfect for Dryer M dryers, Ezidri Snackmaker FD500 Silicone Pastila Sheets! ... The idea is not mine, I got it on one well-known site, where they leave reviews: the girl wrote in detail why this particular dryer, laid out wonderful photos and gave a valuable idea about sheets for marshmallows. I am very, very grateful to her and, I hope, someone on our forum will also take note of this information. I smeared it on the sheet with a brush (I only use ghee 100% butter), poured out the berries chopped with a blender, dried it, and it's very easy to remove it: I pry it off with a silicone spatula, the sheet remains clean, you don't even need to wash it. The peculiarity of this dryer is that it is not necessary to swap pallets, the degree of dryness is the same, I think this is a plus. Now I have cherry candy on 6 sheets from Isidri (I bought 6 pieces) is drying: what's below, what's above, dries the same way. Pastila literally scatters on the same day, now I finally decided to put it aside: under vacuum lids, let's see how it will be saved. In addition to the marshmallow, everything dries perfectly: dried apples and pears, white, tasty, dried quickly. Yes, I don't have a summer house now, but I live in the Central Black Earth Region, there are always apples, plums, cherries, etc., there is an abundance on the market during the season. Returning to the sheets for marshmallow: I bought 200 rubles apiece in the online store, maybe not cheap, but once I bought it and forgot about the problem, the sheets are very high quality. But the dryer itself is inexpensive;) Something like this
Knopochka
Marika, THANKS for your advice, I somehow did not think that they converge in diameter !!!
In an attempt to simplify the process, I made a template from tracing paper so as not to cut it every time on a pallet
I now have all 8 pallets dried, apricot + apples (my own "drop"), black + red currants + gooseberries, strawberries + banana - and all on tracing paper! but want to be normal
I also have a request for you: please measure the diameter of the pallet - I have an inner diameter, where to insert the pallet - a large diameter of 32 cm, a small ring - a diameter of 5 cm (just in case, otherwise it turned out that my dryer was produced in 2011. ....). I would then order 8 pieces

And it’s also interesting what, besides the marshmallow, you make in the dryer :)
Knopochka
Marika, tell me, is that?

🔗

Now I phoned a representative in our region, you can buy from them
Marika-san
Knopochka,
tried on, like the same dimensions as yours. Yes, the sheets are the most (but do not forget: to our dryer only from Isidri 500, not from Isidri 1000!). I'm going to your PM: I'll throw off the link to a photo from an Internet dryer like mine (otherwise I also saw a little different).
In addition to all kinds of marshmallows, and a few apples-pears from the store have not dried anything yet, so soon the season of local fruits, then ... I really liked the blueberry yogurt marshmallow with strawberries, it's delicious, but I don't know if it can be stored for a long time? (milk after all ...)
Knopochka
Marika, we have the same dryers
I went to order sheets.
Thanks again!

Hello, I have Sukhovey MP, I do not use it for long. I do not really like that the pieces, drying and shrinking, sometimes fall through the so-called. blinds, I'm afraid they can fall through them and onto the motor. I constantly collect crumbs from the surface of the blinds. The instructions say briefly - "sometimes check inside, whether parts of the roots have fallen through, etc., to prevent fire." Although often you can't check there, because the blinds are bolted on.
It is not entirely clear how to ensure complete safety of use.How do you solve this problem? It's just that there are products that were cut in large quantities, they definitely do not fall down, but something was in the form of straws, which greatly decreased in size and began to fall. Perhaps marshmallow sheets (from Isidri, for example) or baking paper are suitable? I want to dry not only large pieces, but also relatively small pieces.

This is a problem for all of us, when small pieces from slicing dry up and begin to fail.
Therefore, I immediately lay out many vegetables on nets, therefore I do not write anywhere about problems, since I do not have them - there are nets, as an attachment to the dryer, in the kit
And that's why the topic appeared, how to make sure that the pieces do not fall through

Now I am with you! Just today I was thinking about whether the sheets from Izidri drying would fit - now I will definitely order! I have Dry Wind MP 5.
I have been drying for a year and only now have my hands reached the marshmallow, so far only apple. I put the truth on the paper while drying it, only I didn't grease it with anything, I'm afraid that I will have to tear it off! Last summer I dried everything in it (beets, carrots, peppers, lemons, green onions, all kinds of greens and everything else) - I dabbled, now I clearly know what I want!
BlackHairedGirl
Mar_k
I put the truth on the paper while drying it, only I didn't grease it with anything, I'm afraid that I will have to tear it off!

You don't have to, if you slightly moisten the paper from the inside, it will come off with a stocking.
Knopochka
Mar_k, the main thing is to make a layer of marshmallow thicker, otherwise it will be very difficult to tear off the berry film from even wetted paper.

Plastic sheets from Isidri are the THING! THANK YOU Marika-san !! The only question is whether they are suitable for the Dry Wind MP - due to the different distribution of air flows ..
I bought 8 pieces at once and they are all in my business, I even regretted that I didn’t take a peach marshmallow dryer with me.A friend from Kiev examined Isidri in detail and realized that Sukhovey M was created completely in the image and likeness, not only temperature control
Mar_k
Thanks for the advice! And I waved something thinly 'marshmallow' let's see how it dries! I will try!
Mar_k
I made a marshmallow! Delicious! I did it on paper, it came off well. Drying coped, now I will buy special pallets for the whole drying at once, otherwise I wanted one ...
Knopochka
Mar_k, congratulations!
Have you drilled holes in the paper? I just thought that the trays from isidri would be just right for you, because they have a round hole in the middle, and it is important for Sukhovey MP that there is an outlet for the air flow ..
Mar_k
Thank you! Yes, I made holes! Here the apple dried well, and the strawberry ran, I had to raise it a little! Yesterday I ordered 4 pallets from Izidri 500 - I'm waiting! I bought peaches today for as much as 40 rubles (they said that Krasnodar, which is why they are so cheap, though they are not very large, but sweet), and I also bought plums a tomato (the same for marshmallow, only spicy, probably). I will work
Mar_k
Sheets from Izidri 500 are not suitable for Dry Wind MP. They do not fit inside, but only on top "like a lid"! Maybe they brought me something wrong?
BlackHairedGirl
Mar_k Tell me, what is their diameter? And I'll measure mine right now ... 32.5 cm in diameter.

Mar_k Tell me, what is their diameter? And I'll measure mine right now ... 32.5 cm in diameter.
Almost 35 cm - it means they brought the wrong ones !!!! I'll figure it out now
Knopochka
I measured my pallets - 35 cm, they fit in Sukhovey M ..
Do not worry - if anything, you can probably cut them off, for thick pastilles it will do.
On the way home from Ukraine, we also brought apricots - wild game, the marshmallow turned out to be delicious
Mar_k
I looked at me at Sukhovey MP with a diameter of 34 cm, at Sukhovey 34, and at Sukhovey M 34.2 - how can they fit ?! I called yesterday to the online store and she confirmed that Izidri 1000 has 35 pallets in diameter, that is, they confused me - they apologized and promised to bring them today at their own expense ... I will wait ... And on these pallets, while you I took off what and how, put everything like the marshmallow to dry, that is, I put the pallet on top of the drying pallet and put the next pallet on it again, it turned out to be such a 'sandwich', nothing dried up the pastille, just not convenient, the structure is shaky!
Knopochka
Mark, I'm sorry for the misinformation!
Yesterday I was measuring my husband's old tape measure - now I took a new one - indeed, 32.5 cm!
Mar_k
And so it happened! They brought everything - fixed! Respect to the firm! Now with exactly the Izidri 500 marshmallow trays are suitable for the Dry Wind MP !!! Yes, there are small gaps along the edge, I will endure working!

I dried plum marshmallow, apples - made for fresh fruit, did not cook. And since the apples are sweet and did not add sugar! It dries great. Now I'm making marshmallow out of tomatoes! In a word, this is already a diagnosis.

I bought a dryer Sukhovey MP and decided to try it on apples. I loaded it, turned it on .... and I don’t understand .... in addition to the noise (like from a boiling kettle), a light TPRP-TPRP-TPRP is heard (uniform, quiet, continuous). This is normal? everyone has? Or am I so unlucky alone and need to take it?
Mar_k
It hurts me a little too, and when I put the cardboard under the leg, it hurts less. It may depend on the surface on which it stands. Only I don’t understand in any way whether the first Dryer had the same or not (I took it to my mother).
Nata_SHA
Thank you. I guess I panicked early. Now I went to rearrange the pallets and noticed that when I removed some of the pallets, the rattling became quieter, and when I removed everything, it stopped altogether)))) Well, when I put the pyramid back together - trrrrrr again. Probably - this plastic structure vibrates))))))

I opted for a Dryer Dryer. With the differences between the models, just Dry Hose, M and MP, everything is clear. Except for one thing: grating construction. Interested in lattices with a hole in the middle. As I understand it, these grates go to the Dryer without letters. Or not necessarily? It seems to me that this is a fundamental and very important difference from models with a solid lattice. For some reason, stores do not focus on this difference. Attempts to find out something on the phone did not give anything - the sellers absolutely do not understand what they are talking about. At the exchange Sukhovey MP, the main criterion when buying was the ability to make marshmallows! and that there are pallets with a hole, I learned to my ignorance only recently, although the drying is a year. I dry pastille on pallets from a completely different drying and a hole in the center.
and to ask what are the advantages of this or that design try here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=143202.new;topicseen#new... I would also stand and listen, very interesting!
vlad1252
I read the topic, it is mentioned that in the Dryer M there are grates with a hole in the middle, just like what I'm looking for. If you have ordinary ones, then in theory it is not suitable for marshmallow, but it turns out the same. The advantage in grates with a hole in a completely different organization of the movement of air flows in the dryer. In addition to the hole in the center, there are slots along the entire edge of the grill. The air from the fan passes through these slots and moves towards the center along the grilles, where it exits. That is, the flow moves between the grates horizontally blowing products. With the correct calculation of the holes, the power of the fan, equally dry and warm air will be supplied to each grille from below, drying is uniform everywhere. As an example, Izidri.
And on solid grates, the air moves up through the grates with food, giving off heat along the way and getting saturated with moisture from the food. Therefore, the lower one dries faster than the upper one, it is necessary to change places more often.
By the way, if users (users) of a dry wind without a thermostat have problems with lowering the temperature, you can easily make it: any voltage regulator (for example, a lamp dimmer, or from underfloor heating). A seventh grader who knows how to hold a screwdriver will cope with the work. If I buy one, I will sign it with photos, even a seventh grader will do it.

Hello!
We bought a Dryer Dryer for 8 pallets, while for drying mushrooms. It is written that the mushrooms are dried for 4-6 hours. It is not true. Dried at a maximum temperature for 10 hours or even a little more. I wonder what can then be dried at a temperature of 30 degrees? I would be grateful if I get clarifying answers. Thank you.
Admin

Drying time ALWAYS depends on the type of vegetables, fruits, their density, cutting thickness, the presence of its own liquid (a lot, a little), juice, the ability to dry quickly.
The times in the instructions are ALWAYS advisory! And it can be much different from the actual one.

On T * 30 you can dry herbs, dill, parsley and the like. This is a very low drying temperature.
