Chicken fillet in a puff pastry net

Ingredients

Chicken breast fillet, legs 2 pcs
puff pastry (ready-made) 250g
mayonnaise 50-70g
salt, spices taste
butter (frozen) 4 pieces
egg for lubrication

Cooking method

  • I remove the bones from the chicken, leaving the meat alone. I try to make sure that it remains intact. I make pockets and put a piece of frozen butter in them. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic, chicken seasoning. I coat the meat with mayonnaise and send it to the refrigerator, marinate well.
  • Chicken fillet in a puff pastry net
  • Defrost the puff pastry. This time I took yeast-free. Roll out, cut into 4 pieces (according to the number of chicken pieces) Using a roller knife, make an incision in the form of a mesh. Put a piece of chicken on this place. Wrap the edges of the dough with an overlap. We cut the side edges of the dough with a knife for chebureks (I tried this knife for the first time). He cut off the excess and joined the edges very well. Turn the chicken pieces over with the seam down and put them in the grid of the air fryer. We let stand a little. Lubricate with an egg and set to bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees and 5 minutes at 200 degrees.

Preparing quickly. The meat is juicy. The puff pastry is crunching! Somehow I did the breast after stuffing it. Minced meat can be done at your discretion, anyone. I will add that I was able to put only two portions in the deep fryer, so I baked the other two in the airfryer. In terms of juiciness, it does not differ slightly. The crust looked even better in color. But in time in the airfryer it was baked for 7 minutes longer.

And today I tested my cutting roller for the first time. And since I've been staring at this recipe for a long time, and natalisha_31 praised it, the choice fell on these "braids" with chicken meat. True, there was no mayonnaise at home, so I marinated the fillet in raw adjika.
To my taste, I can say that it is very tasty, my husband and I did not even notice how we ate everything.
I have already added this dish to the New Year's menu.
But I still need to work on the form, but I have already understood my mistakes and next time it will be more beautiful.

Miss Raspberry, as far as I understand these are two different devices. The air fryer, I would rather refer to the airfryer. A deep fryer (I don't have one), but as I understand it, it fries in a lot of oil.
As for the knife for the net, then I have 6 cm and this is enough. If I need a wide mesh, then I pass in parallel again with a 6 cm knife.

Such a chicken can be easily made in an airfryer or in a simple oven. As with convection and without it.
An air fryer just does it faster, without oil (1 tbsp. Spoon and that's it), and the crust in it turns out to be more subtle. I did not find any other advantages.
I think that if you have an airfryer, there is no need for it. Oh-she-she !! Just do not hit anyone who loves her affectionately and tenderly. My daughter cannot live without her, but I somehow calmly treat her. I can do it in it, I can do it in the airfryer.
