Irish potatoes

Ingredients

potatoes
garlic
Provencal herbs
vegetable oil
salt

Cooking method

  • Potatoes carefully wash and boil in a uniform. Do not clean! Cut each potato into 6-8 rather large pieces. Fry until golden brown in vegetable oil, season with salt, sprinkle with finely chopped garlic, Provencal herbs. And with great pleasure to eat.
  • Due to the fact that tomorrow morning to work, I did not sprinkle fresh garlic on the potatoes, but fried them in oil, removed the garlic and fried the potatoes in garlic oil.

Note

Served with chicken wings in teriyaki sauce. Everything together is very tasty.

Ru
And the potatoes are really - with crusts?
celfh
Yes, sooooo delicious!
celfh

Pushkin was very fond of boiled potatoes fried in oil. True, without Provencal herbs ...
Looks very appetizing, so your boys can be understood. I do this in the microwave, it turns out not so rosy, but also delicious.
celfh
all I can do in the microwave is to heat up food and boil potatoes in their uniforms So I have to use the oven
Keti
And I do this in the DEH multicooker in the frying. I don't boil it first, but fry it right away.
I confirm, very tasty.
IRR
it's nice how to find out that when I have boiled potatoes, I do it not anyhow, but in Irish
Ru
IRR, you also speak for a reason, but in prose

in the sense - complex sentences?
Ru
and complex, and subordinate clauses - determinative, exquisite and, oh, what is there to be modest, adverbial!
Ru
In general, my hands are already itching to feed someone unpeeled potatoes!
Expensive celfh! Please do not read the above sentence as derogatory. Perhaps you cannot say that in form, but in essence it is rather diminutive!

I love to make so little potatoes, boil all the husk and then in butter ... though I make yummy in AG! Thank you

Oh. but I didn’t know that this dish was "Irish": mail1: you must remember
but I know that if you pour such a potato with layers of cottage cheese with an egg and milk, it will be "like a monastery"
celfh
and I have all the recipes for potatoes in a monastery lean

Soon the pre-Christmas fast, and there it is not far off to the great!
celfh
We will share in the post, it is necessary to cook, photograph. Why start fasting a week earlier? For lean recipes, see the link.
Ceremonial and festive cooking

Last year we had a wonderful "Great Lent" contest. It's a pity that the contests are not kept. Everything was compact there, all links to lean recipes.

Botanik
Thank you! Delicious! And what a smell there was when the garlic was fried!
celfh
Botanik , very glad that I liked it!
Duffy
I liked the recipe very, very much! My husband is completely delighted, I'm doing it for the 3rd or 4th time (fortunately, everything is simple and does not require much time or costs). True, so far without seasoning (I want to try adding dill somehow, but I'm afraid to spoil it), only with garlic, but it's still very tasty. Thank you!

After almost 2 years, I really want to thank you again for this wonderful recipe!
This recipe is a real lifesaver for me.
First, it's delicious!
Secondly, it's very simple! (like everything is ingenious)
Third, it's useful!

celfh
Duffy, hello and thanks for the reminder! I just have delicious potatoes
kolobashka
And I do this in the cartoon, in the baking mode. Immediately, without pre-boiling. Sometimes I add bacon. The tongue can be swallowed.
I didn't know it was Irish.
