Cranberry Kissel

Ingredients

cranberries 100gr
brown sugar 1/2 st
potato starch 2 tbsp. l
water 3.5 st

Cooking method

  • Sort the berries, put them in a sieve, squeeze the juice out of them with a spoon and put it in the refrigerator for a while. Pour the remaining pomace with 3 cups of cold bottled water, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, then strain through a fine sieve, squeezing the cranberries with a spoon.
  • Pour sugar into the prepared broth, bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Dissolve the starch with the remaining cold bottled water and strain. Pour it into the boiling berry broth in a thin stream, stirring constantly. Bring the jelly to a boil and pour the cranberry juice in the refrigerator into it. Remove from heat immediately
