  • Slice the orange peel. We put it in the multicooker bowl. Add water (if we don't want to change the water three times later, pour in the maximum amount of water) so that the crusts float. We turn on the "Extinguishing" mode for 20 minutes.

That's all that's left
Candied tangerines are tastier than orange peels, as there is less bitterness in tangerine peels.

I want to try to do it, but I don't have AH. And how else can you dry?

Simply by spreading the candied fruit in one layer at room temperature (the longest option is to dry it out overnight). On the heating battery. Oven at 50aboutS-60aboutFROM.

will tangerine skins work?
oh, I read it again and realized that I was reading not tangerine, but pickled ones. I'm going to cook

Girls, write how to taste? I also want to do it.
And extinguishing for 20 minutes means turning it off after 20 minutes?

Candied orange peels are slightly bitter, tangerine taste is softer and without bitterness. And the extinguishing for 20 minutes ... if your multitude does not set the extinguishing for 20 minutes, then turn it off yourself after 20 minutes, replace the water and again for 20 minutes for "Stewing" and then according to the recipe.

made tangerines.
Poured boiling water, added sugar. Extinguishing timer 30 minutes. Then the water was glass, sprinkled with sugar (the sugar melted)))), did not dry out, because there was no where. She did not want to pave the battery. Bitter, but delicious!

Was there a lot of water? Bitterness can be due to the fact that the bitterness did not come out of the crusts during stewing, that is, they seemed to be stewed in their bitterness. It's just that if the water is not changed, then there should be a lot of water so that the bitterness is where to come out of the crusts. Here I wrote it. Hope clear

water ... but I don't know, not a lot ... Next time I will pour more, but bitterness does not bother me

I correctly understood that if I do not change the water, then I put it immediately for 40 minutes, then I drain it anyway, or can sugar be there for another 20 minutes?

There may be different options here.
Sugar can be added in the last 20 minutes without draining the water.
You can spend 40 minutes on "Braising", then drain the water and add sugar to the new water and simmer for another 20 minutes.
You can not add sugar at all during stewing, but sprinkle them with sugar after stewing, first drain the water, and then sprinkle them with sugar again at the end of drying.

It's so good that I found your recipe mannochka! In our pressure cooker, everything should turn out well, I hope for it! Thank you!
Manna
Oh, Marisha, I already forgot about this recipe. Honestly, since then, as far as I remember, I have never made candied citrus fruits (I am confused by the possible impregnation of the citrus peel, it seems that we wash it well and change the water, but I still think)
MariS
I made candied fruits on the stove for my Citrus partridges, and here it is so light in a pressure cooker - what am I dreaming about? Maybe it is better to clean them (without a white film) and then they will not taste bitter?
Manna
So, they don't get too thin like that? Or did I not understand you very well?

That's how I understood ... I keep pondering how to make the candied fruit not taste bitter. In my recipe, I made thin ones and they did not taste bitter. But there is no way to stand at the stove, constantly stirring them, so I want to try your version!
MariS
It turned out as I wanted - transparent, tasty, aromatic !!! Super!
Today it is candied lemon.

In the photo, the candied fruits are not yet dry.

As a result, I warmed them up in a saucepan with a thick bottom - I didn't drain all the syrup.
Thank you so much, mannochka!
Now I will only do this, especially since I will really need them for Christmas gingerbread and my citrus partridges !!!
Now I will produce twice as many candied fruits ...
Manna
Marisha, I am very glad that you got the candied fruits as you wanted
Manna
Oh, Marisha, I still admire your candied fruits. I also need to cook tangerines or oranges, or what?
Vei
Marina, did you clean the inner white part? Beautiful candied fruits!
Mannochka, a very timely recipe! Thank you!

Veichka, thanks for the compliment!

I peeled off the white film by half, I was afraid of bitterness. : girl_curtsey: Only now I want to try to do it with her - the bitterness is also sometimes needed!
I left a little syrup in them and boiled it again (in a saucepan) - now I need more wet ones in the form of a sauce for chickens. And in the future I will do it drier.
I'm going to cook oranges today ...
