Airy rice casserole

Puffed rice casserole (MB Brand 37501)

Ingredients

round grain rice 2 multi-glasses
eggs 4 things.
sausages 8 pcs (about 420 gr)
dill 1 bundle
large onion 2 pcs.
sour cream 3 tbsp. l.
hard cheese 50 - 100g
salt, pepper, spices taste

Cooking method

  • 1. Boil the rice and let it cool.
  • 2. Cut the onion into small cubes and fry it until transparent in vegetable oil.
  • 3. Divide the eggs into whites and yolks. Beat the whites into a cool foam.
  • 4. Add chopped dill to the cooled rice and gently mix with whipped egg whites from bottom to top. Pepper, add your favorite spices (I added Italian herbs and nutmeg).
  • 5. Mix the yolks with the cooled onions.
  • 6. Cut the sausages lengthwise.
  • 7. Grease the multicooker pan with oil and sprinkle with semolina. Spoon and flatten half of the rice mixture.
  • 8. The next layer is onion with yolks.
  • 9. Then add the chopped sausages.
  • 10. Spoon the remaining rice and flatten it.
  • 11. Brush with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • 12. Baking mode 55 minutes (multicooker Brand 37501).

I have cooked it a couple of times already, it turns out a delicious dinner from available products.

It is more delicious to use slightly smoked sausages.

If we change the filling (chicken, liver, maybe even canned fish, etc.), we will get a new casserole every time.

This casserole and note reminded me of one casserole very similar, also delicious. There is a layer of carrot and a layer of boiled fish in the layer. And the rest is the same, rice with proteins, sour cream, cheese.

Thanks for the recipe. I cooked casserole three times. The first time I disposed of the remnants of boiled sausage, the second time with sausages, the third time I did it with chicken breast and mushrooms. And all three times delicious !!!
