Spicy appetizer with pickled quail eggs

Ingredients

quail eggs 10 pieces
white wine vinegar 50 ml
water 70 ml
olive oil 50 ml
finely ground paprika 1 tsp
mixture of provencal herbs 1 tsp
mixture of five peppers (not ground) 1 tsp
sichuan pepper 5-7 pcs
ground chili taste
garlic 3-4 cloves
sugar 2 h l
salt 1 tsp
cheese (feta cheese, mozzarella) 150-200 g
stalked celery 1-2 petioles
sprigs of rosemary 5-6 pcs

Cooking method

  • 1. Boil quail eggs, cool and peel.
  • 2. Boil water with salt, sugar and wine vinegar. Cool slightly, add all the spices. Pour in the olive oil and stir well (you can whisk lightly).
  • 3. Put eggs in a sterile jar, pour the resulting marinade. Put in the refrigerator to marinate for 2-5 days.
  • 4. On sprigs of rosemary, string ready-made eggs, cubes of cheese and celery.

Note

I bring to your attention a snack, the idea of ​​which I took from Ilya Lazerson. The appetizer is spicy and spicy. The cheese can be different - in this case, young goat. The dish is easy to prepare and does not take much time. And disappears from the table in a matter of minutes.

SeredaG, with marinade from your links, I also did. Only there is added either shambhala or utskho-suneli and it looks like mushrooms. In the context, these eggs look very beautiful. But mine liked the European version more. Maybe because they are sharper and more piquant.
