Ingredients

Piglet 6.5 kg
Caraway 1 tsp
Coriander 1 tsp
Salt 3 tbsp. l.
Ground pepper 2 tbsp. l
Dry garlic 1 tsp
Mustard 2 tbsp. l.
Mayonnaise 6 tbsp. l.
Fresh rosemary 1 branch

Cooking method

  • 1. Rinse the piglet, cut off all excess. Pour cold water slightly acidified with vinegar, immerse the pig. Withstand 1-2 hours.
  • 2. Dry. Grate: salt, pepper, dry garlic. Grind caraway and coriander in a mortar, grate the pig.

  • 3. Mix mayonnaise and mustard, grease the pig.

  • 4. Wrap in foil. Let it marinate. I marinated the night on the balcony at 5 degrees Celsius.
  • 5. Place on a baking sheet without oil, put a sprig of rosemary next to it (remove if necessary).
  • 6. Bake at temp. 180 g 2.5 - 3 hours. (depends on the size of the pig).
  • 7. Remove from the oven, transfer to a dish, garnish with tomatoes, cucumbers, rosemary sprigs.
  • 8. Eat with vegetables and have fun!

I bought it in mid-December, and still remained. There were 465 rubles per kg. By weight, they were all the same, from about 6 kg I saw and 9 kg.

Once in my life I had to cook, put it on a baking sheet diagonally.
She put eggshells on her ears so as not to get burned.
The taste is similar to duck, only some sweetish, IMHO.
