Apple tiramisu

Ingredients

Apples 300 g
Lemon 1 PC.
Sugar 110 g
Mascarpone 250 g
Ground cinnamon
Cream 35% 200 ml
Almond liqueur 4 - 5 tbsp. l.
Biscuit biscuits 20 - 30 pcs.

Cooking method

  • Wash apples, peel, core and cut into cubes. Cut the zest from the lemon (preferably with one strip).
  • Put the apple pieces in a small saucepan (or ladle), pour 150 ml of water, add 2 tbsp. l. sugar and lemon zest. Bring everything to a boil and cook until the apples are soft. We remove from heat, remove the zest (it is no longer needed), and decant the juice from the apples (we also save the juice from the pan). Rub the apples through a sieve.
  • Mix the mascarpone with the cooled applesauce and the remaining sugar, add the juice of ½ lemon, a little cinnamon and mix well. Whip the cream and mix gently with the cream.
  • Mix apple juice with liqueur, add a little cinnamon. Saturate half of the biscuits with the resulting mixture and put them in a mold. Put half of the cream on top, then again a layer of soaked cookies and the remaining cream.
  • We place the mold in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours (even better overnight). Sprinkle cinnamon on top before serving.

Note

The dessert turns out to be very juicy and tender. The taste has a slight sourness, the smell of almonds and apples with cinnamon. They got it all at once. We managed to hide one piece for a photo ... it was he who lay in the refrigerator overnight and became even tastier.

Tiramisu turned out to be divinely delicious !!! I've always been a little wary of making tiramisu with raw proteins, which are not used here. It took more liquor and juice than in the recipe, probably I moistened the cookies too thoroughly. Instead of mascarpone, I used some kind of cheese cream. I bought it for trial, it tasted so-so, and the cream with it turned out to be very tasty.

I can't resist this dessert! Delicious! I did it again for the holidays. Instead of mascarpone, I took Violetta curd cream cheese, baked the cookies myself, and everything else according to the recipe.

What can you say about replacing mascarpone with curd cheese, how is it different?

And I have never done it with mascarpone. I use curd cream or curd cheese - I like it. It's not a classic tiramisu, but it's still a delicious dessert. The last time I used the Serbian curd cream "Kremsi", it is a little salty, and it was later felt in the dessert.
