Great, another little slow cooker has appeared! But why did you call the topic Mystery, and the subtitle - Liberton? They look very different. Help with the photo? You have not loaded.

Mystery MCM-1017

But I want to buy, but there are no pastries on the menu. Maybe someone has some information? Can I bake in it?
Ta_chka
I also wanted Liberton small, but they are not available anywhere, I had to buy Mystery 1017, in addition to Dex 60.
There are 4 automatic rice programs in this cartoon:
- quick cooking - lasts 20-25 minutes, I often use it for cereal side dishes (round rice 1: 1.5 turns out to be crumbly for me than in Dex).
- slow cooking - not used yet (sort of like for a large amount of cereals),
- cooking a small amount of rice - it took me 40 minutes, the rice was boiled of course,
- cooking rice with a ruddy color - I didn’t use it, I think it’s suitable for pilaf, but I do it in Dex.
Separately, there is a menu button that regulates 5 more programs:
- Heating - time 25 min. not regulated,
- Rice broth - I don't know how it works yet, time from 1 to 4 hours, by default 1 hour,
- Soup - time from 1 to 4 hours, by default 1 hour,
- Steam - from 5 min. up to 1 hour, default 15 min.
- Extinguishing - time from 1 to 12 sas, by default 1 hour.
There is a timer, keeping warm up to 24 hours, turns on automatically after all programs.
For the experiment I tried to bake something.
I started with a cottage cheese casserole, since this is critical for me, I don't like casseroles in Dex, they get too dry and fried. So, with the help of the casserole, I determined that in the programs, rice broth, soup, steam and stewing of the cartoon are turned off due to overheating of the saucepan after 8-10 minutes. Then I switched to the "Cooking a small amount of rice" program and it did not turn off, the casserole was baked normally, it was tender and not burnt. True, I have a recipe for 400-500g of cottage cheese.
The second experiment was with Boiling Chocolate. Here I failed. I started with the "Cooking a small amount of rice" program, but in the middle of the cycle they turned off the light and when they turned on after 5 minutes, the "Small amount" program refused to start, I switched to "Warm up" for 25 minutes. then I turned on "Small amount" again, in general it turned out to be a sweet sticky mass, which I threw away. At the same time in Dexa "Chocolate on boiling water" I always succeed.
In general, I decided to stay on casseroles for now. But if someone continues to experiment, share your experience, it's still interesting.

Tell me, can I recommend this cartoon to a neighbor? Is it small and as I understood from the picture the cover is removable? and inexpensive like .. need to buy in Novosibirsk.
Gypsy
Is there a respite, so that porridge in the morning?

Multicooker Mystery MSM-1017

Yes, there is a delay timer, probably, as in all multicooker. By the way, it is very convenient to set hours and minutes, that's why there are separate buttons. The inner lid is removable, a bit tough, but you can get it. The ready signal can be heard normally, not like in Dex.
For me, this is an additional cartoon, but I use it every day.Basically I cook side dishes of rice, buckwheat (on the "quick cooking" program) and soups for a child for 1-2 portions (the "Steam" program for 15-30 minutes, on which I also began to saute for the soup, it does not seem to turn off). Once I cooked a vegetarian borscht, so even my husband ate, it seemed like he liked it. I didn't experiment with baking anymore, it's still a small portion. We don't have enough Dex baking for 2 times to try, but here in general there will be one eater.
And even my child does not eat milk porridge, only if the prepared cereal is poured with milk and then it is in the mood. Therefore, I cannot say anything about porridge.
Gypsy
Thank you, and on what program does the extinguishing take place? I did not find instructions on the manufacturer's website.
Ta_chka
The "Extinguishing" separate program is "stew" on the display. Time from 1 to 12 hours. I described all the programs from the instructions.
AJlEHA
Yes ... after all, rice cookers are not entirely modified multicooker ... Therefore, before buying, you should clearly decide which programs you can do without.
But in rice cookers there are always several options for cooking rice))
Gypsy
There is no such multicooker ... there are rice cookers, this is their native name, as the Japanese called them and it was for rice that they came up with. Just at first (look for the old info on the forum) it was very simple electric pans with one button (on / off), but progress does not sleep, there are many varieties of rice and many rice dishes (not here, in Japan and China, of course). Rice cookers began to improve and develop, the Japanese cooked not only rice in them .. Rice cookers came together with the Chinese and Japanese to Europe and America, and they were called that way there and are still called in English rice cooker. Rice cookers recently came to russia and ukraine and they were called multicooker so that people would take it .. rice in these parts is not a popular food. Replaced the name of the program * rice * with * buckwheat *, etc.))
AJlEHA
Nobody argues) In our opinion, these are multi-cooker rice cookers with the addition of a larger number of programs) I'm talking about such programs as yogurt, frying vegetables / meat / fish, baking, etc.) And rice cookers with a small set of programs are of little interest to us - perhaps only in sushi bars)))

The owners of this multicooker, can you please tell me if it is possible to cook small portions in it for one person, as well as program the time and temperature yourself, regardless of those 9 modes that are declared by the manufacturer?
Ta_chka
Cooking in this slow cooker for one is quite real, it is small. The temperature is not regulated, but the time is regulated within the specified ranges, which I described earlier, on the following programs:
Rice broth (actually, this is a porridge program) - time from 1 to 4 hours, by default 1 hour,
Soup - time from 1 to 4 hours, default 1 hour,
Steam - from 5 min. up to 1 hour, default 15 min.
Quenching - time from 1 to 12 sas, by default 1 hour (according to the instructions), in fact, my default setting is 2 hours.

Rice broth (actually, this is a porridge program) - time from 1 to 4 hours, by default 1 hour,
Nobody tried to cook porridge? how you want to look at the result of rice porridge.
Interestingly, in little Liberton there is a wonderful saucepan, and what kind of saucepan is in this cartoon?
Ta_chka
I made milk rice porridge in it 1 time, for the experiment, the ratio took 1 ppm. cereals 5 m milk. At first, it began to boil intensively and gurgle through the valve, I opened the lid for a short time, the boil decreased and then it boiled quietly with the lid closed. As for me, the porridge turned out to be ordinary, added butter and sugar at the end. I'm fine, the child didn't eat (well, she doesn't like milk porridge), that's why I don't cook.
And the saucepan is, of course, thinner than the Dex one, and the coating is slightly worse in quality. But I use it every day for soups and side dishes. And now we only take it on trips because of its compactness.

The bowl is normal. The thickness of the walls is the same as practically that of the bowls of many other multicooker, except for Panasonic. The main thing here is the strength and durability of the anti-burner. Anyway, the Binco carbon-coated Panasonic thin-walled bowl is over 3 years old.And the cartoon itself is a good alternative to the small Brand 37300. There is a built-in clock, a delay in all modes, a hard-to-remove plate on the lid, the valve is almost identical.

I went to MVideo today, there is a saucepan under the price tag 692 (-30%) I thought it was repaired, but also a Panasonic 101 by 3 liters at the same price. I already wanted to take it, but there is no box for the display case in the store, and the seller did not find instructions and recipe books with it, she says that she is now downloading the instructions, but there are no books at all. Since I was careful to take such a thing, maybe the truth is someone's return. Although with such a 30% discount, she is not alone. How can there be a return of several small cars at once, while all at the same price ??
Maybe I am afraid in vain and can I take it? What do you think?

Girls and 1018 have someone to use. I wanted a small 3 liter Panasonic -101, but they were removed from sale. I drew attention to Mystery 1018, which seems to be quite good and suits me in terms of functionality. There is a delayed start, soup, pie, double boiler, frying. and the price is good for them. Reviews on Yandex are good, but for some reason I don't trust them. I would like to hear the truthful on our forum.

I bought this multicooker two weeks ago because of a 3L bowl and a steamer basket. She works well, she makes delicious soups and borscht. I cook milk porridge in Soup, and fry for the first courses in the Steamer. Cool mode by the way, I cook pasta, dumplings, mashed potatoes on it. Time can be set up to 1 hour. Please share the recipes for her!
