Here are my saucepans, Dekok and Frybest. At first I bought one, but I liked it so much that I decided on the second ...

We, too, at home, at first, put ceramic pots Emile Henry and their ceramic lids on the cast-iron grates of the stove. When my ladies "kissed" two lids on cast iron, with sad consequences (chips, cracks), I insistently asked everyone to put such lids only on flat wooden surfaces, and the pots themselves on the stove - only on flat metal flame diffusers. Since then, there has been no more loss of ceramics on the slab ...
Margonica
I looked at a series of ceramic dishes from Yulia Vysotskaya "Let's eat at home".
I really want to buy a couple, but there are no reviews ((and the price, in comparison with others, does not bite much, and in general I want such a pot), beautiful, bright)
Kapet
Margonica, on 🔗 you can find reviews of the owners of ceramic dishes.

I understand that these dishes are smart and beautiful, but they cannot withstand temperature changes. However, on the site and in the "edim_doma" store, no one promised that these dishes allow for sharp temperature changes. In this regard, I like Emile Henry ceramics more: it is stated from the freezer -20 to the oven +250.

Basically, the reviews for ozone are positive, and the price is more humane than for French ceramics ... There are also single sad reviews:
"I am very upset, the saucepan has burst, you can't put it on the oven from the refrigerator!"
"The color of the pan is not lemon, as in the photo, but dirty yellow, at first it smelled like paint, a similar smell, on a gas stove you have to cook on a divider, which is moronic and inconvenient."

Grande Brique à Rôtir, or Nashenskiy Chicken roasting dish with lid, Emile Henry OVENWARE, 41.5x27.5 cm, red (catalog number EH799544). Total capacity 8 liters, bottom tray 4 liters.

The tests are carried out on a one and a half month old turkey chicken weighing 4.5 kg, marinated overnight in a saline solution.

Ceramic cooking utensils

As usual, we fill it with orange, lemon, parsley, celery, quince, not tight. Under the skin of the breast and legs - melted butter with herbs.

Ceramic cooking utensils

We put the turkey in a mold on a vegetable pillow (coarsely chopped carrots, onions, petioled celery, quince, garlic, salted lemon), coat with a mixture of honey and Worcester sauce.

Ceramic cooking utensils

Close with a lid and put in the oven at 180C for a couple of hours.

Ceramic cooking utensils

During this time, the chicken quite manages to bake itself as it should, - not raw already, and not dried to death ...

Cover with a lid for 30-40 minutes, so that the meat is infused, and use it with sauces, garnish, and gravy. Delicious though!

Ceramic cooking utensils

Next in line is a leg of lamb with herbs, nut sauce, on a potato pillow ...

Constantin, gorgeous baking dish! The turkey looks delicious.

And where such a form is sold,: girl-q: its cost can be announced.
Kapet
francevna, the French are on 🔗 sell it for 99.90 €. On the Russian website emile- this form, only smaller in size 34x24 cm, 3 liters., Costs 12,760 rubles. But I didn't buy a small one, I waited for a large one, 41.5x27.5 cm, to fit more ... In Ukraine, it costs 2850 hryvnia.
francevna
Constantin, congratulations on such a wonderful dish! May you please with delicious dishes!
Kapet
francevna, Thank you! The main thing here is not to break such a beauty with diligence, since the weight of such an empty brick is 4.3 kg. And if you add 4.5 turkeys and vegetables, then it's not quite like this for women's hands ...

Constantin, yes, for me such dishes are definitely not suitable.

We have a rectangular shape 25x35 Pyrex (made of white clay). Weight 3.135 kg! : yes: Naturally, I have to act as a "carrier of shells".
We use it at least 2 times a week, there are also 5-7 pieces of different shapes (sorry for the tautology), different sizes and from different materials.
Unfortunately, red clay molds and dishes are fragile (easily chipped) and not very strong!

Good day! I am for advice The topic has not been raised for a long time, but can someone look))
I have the opportunity to take such a thing into my good hands - a ceramic soup tureen Mayer & Boch. I think - I need it or not. Why is it called so - a soup tureen? Can I serve only soup in it? Or is it still suitable for baking in the oven? I don't really like the look, of course, but if the thing is worthwhile, I will forgive her.

Papaverinka, Catherine, I love ceramics in any of its forms and purposes, I just get sick.
And I was also interested in such saucepans. I don't remember where it came from now, but it remains in my memory that it comes complete with a stand precisely because from the oven directly onto the table (that is, into this wicker stand)

I would have taken it and would not have thought.

gawala, Galina, it is not even used, new in the package. I don’t really like cooking kitchen things according to the principle "let it stand, maybe it will do", so I ask))

Catherine, it is convenient because you cook in it and put it on the table beautifully.

I have the opportunity to take such a thing into my good hands - a ceramic soup tureen Mayer & Boch.
I have a lot of pottery, but only from Emile Henry. From the experience of beating the lids of such vessels, I will say that in this particular tureen, the lid will not last long, since the "punch" on the lid is unsuccessfully made, for which this lid is lifted. Moreover, this handle is small, recessed in the lid body, and there is a great chance of getting burned, lifting the lid even with tacks, with all the consequences ...

[bKapet,] gawala [/ b], Ilmirushka, thanks for the advice. Take away
