Wheat baking flour 200g
Peeled rye flour 200g
Salt 1h l
Sugar 1.5 tbsp. l
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l
Yeast 1h l
Rye fermented malt 2st. l
Caraway 1st / l
Sesame seeds 1 st. l
Water 260ml
Boiling water for brewing malt 40ml

Cooking method

  • Place the ingredients according to the instructions of your bread machine, after mixing the sifted flour.
  • I add caraway seeds and seeds directly to the flour, also salt, sugar, vegetable oil and malt brewed and cooled with water, only pour the yeast into the dispenser.
  • I have Panasonic latest model.
  • I bake on rye bread program
  • It turns out very tasty, I love it very much. Instead of sesame seeds, you can add sunflower seeds

Today I baked Viennese Rye-Wheat Bread according to the Hydrangea recipe:

I baked it in the same Panasonic 4502 oven as Hortense's, in the "Rye" mode, only instead of sugar I put honey and took olive oil. We liked the taste of the bread, baked well, the crust is thin, crispy and sesame is felt in the bread. This bread size is suitable for our small family. Only in one place for some reason the roof cracked a little (the dough was kneaded perfectly), until I understand why. Let's bake. Thanks to the author for a very good recipe.
