  • • Roll each piece first in flour, then in a mixture of egg and milk and in breadcrumbs.

Great idea!

Thank you. The recipe has been tried. The meat is juicy and tender. The only thing is that these legs did not "stand" for me, I simply laid them on a baking sheet, on foil. I baked whole tomatoes with them as a side dish.
fomca
mka , wow - how great, I'm glad that I liked it ... I would like a photo more ...
mka
I will expose the photo tomorrow, now it’s a bit dark and too lazy to serve, since dinner has already passed.

Poor, poor ballerina!
Rather, judging by the plumpness and bulk, this is "Prima Donna".

The promised photo

Gal, I am very glad that you showed them, thanks. That's how it should be !!!!
GLASHKA
There is a difference in appearance, but I think it does not affect the taste! I should have taken one picture, not a bunch ...
fomca
So quickly get a camera down and go !!!! For one!
GLASHKA
As you say!

AAAA, that's it! What are you obedient, clever!

Girls, would you like an idea? You don't need to roll the legs in breadcrumbs, but take a 10/10 square of puff pastry and fix the dough with corners around the bone.
fomca
Margit , you are absolutely right - yes, there is such a variant of "Ballerina" !!!!
mka
I was very happy with this option, since I do not like puff pastry.

I was very happy with this option, since I do not like puff pastry.
And I love it, especially if you add a spoonful of fried mushrooms to the dough square.
By the way, not necessarily flaky, any unleavened dough you love will do, you can also just wrap a leg in mashed potatoes.
GLASHKA
Girls!!!! Well, in the test, it tastes completely different !!!! Although I do not argue, it is very tasty ... And I use cheese instead of mushrooms ...

Girls, yes there are a lot of options and on the Internet there are recipes for "Ballerina", where the chicken is wrapped in puff pastry, but ... I want to say that I wrote down this recipe from the words of the cook of one cafe, where my mother's anniversary was celebrated, that's how it is in original, or more precisely, as in GLASHKA, that is, there is not a shin, but a thigh, so that the skirt is flatter ...
