Pear compote with lemon

Ingredients

sugar 300-400g

Cooking method

  • For compote, hard pears are suitable, not damaged and without dents. Take lemons thin, because lemons with a thick crust can add a little bitterness. You can take any number of pears and lemons (cover as much as there is).
  • Preparation: Wash the pears, stalk, cut into 4 pieces and core. Cut the lemons into thin slices.
  • Wash the jars with soda and dry. Boil the lids.
  • Syrup: For 1 liter of water - 300-400 g of sugar. Boil water and dissolve sugar in it. Let the syrup simmer for a few minutes.
  • The calculation of the syrup is as follows: about 400 ml for 1 liter jar. If there is not enough syrup, you can always add it quickly.
  • Now we put the pears tightly in jars up to their hangers (I take 1 liter) and put 2-3 slices of lemon on the jar. Fill the pears with syrup, cover with lids and sterilize 1 liter cans - 10 minutes, 3 liters - 20 minutes.
  • Then put the jars on the lid and wrap them with a blanket until they cool.

And I did the same, but I did not fill a whole jar with pears, and until the middle, somewhere in the middle, I added ice cream currants to the lemon for color. The output is almost the same as that of Natasha in the previous post, 6 three-liter cans, but it was possible to make 7 and 8, just the containers were no longer available ..
