Ingredients

Dates 200 g
Butter 150 g
Cocoa powder 60 g
Water 250 ml
Instant coffee 1.5 tbsp. l.
Flour 250 g
Eggs 2 pcs.
Sugar 200 g
Soda 1 tsp
Baking powder 2 tsp
Vanilla sugar 1 tsp
Salt pinch

Cooking method

  • Dates are not very strong, but they add a special flavor. For lovers of everything chocolate.
  • Dates need to be rinsed and pitted. Then finely chop the dates.
  • Boil 250 ml of water. Add coffee, soda and vanilla sugar to boiling water.
  • Then add the chopped dates.
  • Simmer for about a minute over moderate heat, stirring occasionally. The dates should sort of dissolve and turn into gruel.
  • Remove the date mass from the heat and leave to cool.
  • Beat butter and sugar. While whisking, add eggs. The mass should be light and very delicate.
  • Pour flour (pre-sifted), cocoa, baking powder and a pinch of salt into a separate bowl.
  • Mix everything thoroughly.
  • Then combine the egg-butter mixture with flour and cocoa. To do this, add a few tablespoons of flour with cocoa to the egg-oil mixture, stirring thoroughly each time.
  • Next, spoon it gently with the date mixture.
  • First grease the baking dish with butter and then sprinkle with cocoa powder.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 35-40 minutes. Willingness to check with a wooden stick.
  • It turns out to be very delicate and moist. Therefore, let it cool slightly before removing it from the mold.
  • Cut into several pieces when it has completely cooled down (preferably the next day)
  • Cream of your choice: sour cream, creamy, creamy chocolate, cottage cheese, sour cream + condensed milk
  • You can add fruit.

Note
