Does anyone have? Have you used it? Good stuff?

I have, I bought it in a set for a Braun hand blender, along with a pump attachment for pumping air. They are available in two sizes - large and small. I like it, you can store everything in them, it is very convenient and hygienic. Regarding the extension of the shelf life with such storage, this is probably true. Vegetables and greens really last longer. I also put cooked dishes there for storage in the refrigerator.

Several live in my kitchen. Different firms.
Conclusions:
  • a container that is evacuated by pressing on the lid - garbage, expensive and no different from a simple can
  • those that use a separate pump (mechanical or electrical) are a worthwhile thing, only you need several different sizes of "boxes", and so that the big one must be (the small one will not fall out of the big container!)

Greens (unwashed) are completely fresh, stored without problems in the plus compartment of the refrigerator for 14 days.
Artyom
I also liked the electric pump more. And what firms make them so that the quality is normal and the price is acceptable? I just found a receptor - but they are just immeasurable

I have Braun, I bought it a long time ago, as soon as they went on sale. Everything works, I'm happy.

For several years I have been using a mechanical pump (almost like for a bicycle, only plastic and 20 cm long) made in Russia. It is sold in almost all households - both a separate pump and with covers in a set (10, 20 pcs.). A second option is needed, since the covers are rarely supplied separately. Suitable for the neck of any glass jar: from 0.5 liters to 10 liters (I store flour in it) and even to a screw jar. In the spring I also bought this set with 20 covers for 250 rubles for a friend. It is still better to store in glass than in plastic.

Special thanks to the author for the Temko. I read it and crawled into the closet above the refrigerator - I had this Waxi Ceptor (it came with the Ariston refrigerator) for a year already collecting dust - first, due to the repair, I put it off, then a child was born and it was not at all up to Waxi. But now I will start using it for sure - the refrigerator even has fasteners to the shelf to hang 2 containers. Where has progress come to?

I have a pump and glass containers from Braun. In principle, I am satisfied. Once a sausage became moldy in the container, but I think it was because we were constantly opening and closing the container (letting in air and back), and the sausage, most likely, was not the first freshness.

It's not Braun's fault, it's such a sausage. If you knew how and from what it is made! Itself occasionally we take a piece and the next day, the weight gain is 1.5-2 kg (this is affected by the water retainers from the sausage). So the best sausage is natural meat.

and carbonade with beef is often cheaper, although there probably was not without additives
Our meat industry has gone far ahead compared to Soviet times. They contrive to carbonate. hams and even boiled pork, inject soy solution plus a water retainer, And so that everything smells delicious (you probably paid attention when you walk past the sausage sections in the store, it smells so delicious) - stuff the flavors. Cheap-1mg per 100 kg, and the smell-do not pass by is called.

I want to buy vacuum containers with a pump. The question arose - which ones? It seems to me that the electric pump is better or am I wrong?

I looked after this

Vacuum pump "Syriana"
Vacuum reaching speed:
1.5 l - 25 seconds,
2.0 l - 30 seconds,
2.5 l - 45 seconds,
4.0 L - 56 seconds,
4.5 l - 1 minute 18 seconds
Vacuum containers

Professional vacuum containers with a vacuum pump "Aura"
Vacuum containers
Professional vacuum container with expiration date indicator (2.0 l) "Aylin"
Vacuum containers

The question is, for this pump it is necessary to buy only containers of this manufacturer or is it possible to buy others? If it is possible for others, then another problem, you need containers designed for an electric pump, or they are all the same. Something I am completely confused and none of my friends have such a unit.

And yet, I don't understand how it works. That is, I understand that air is sucked off, but how then the hole through which the air comes out is closed And how does it open?
If you have to open the container several times a day, will the food be preserved, or is this not desirable?

Nipple system

And they open (the ones that I saw) - by pressing the button on top, it opens the hole through which air enters.

I have Zepter's. The container itself is glass, the lid is plastic. There is a little thing on the lid on which you can set the download date. And also with it you can turn to open the container. The pump is electric. I have been using it for 10 years, it is convenient.
Elena Bo
Andreevna, the Zepterovskys are very expensive, I can't afford it. I would have something cheaper and thicker.
Elena Bo
Well, who will answer my stupid questions? I have no one else to ask
Olga @
Elena, I have containers and a pump from Brown, and I know for sure that other containers or pumps do not suit me, that is, most likely, they are made for each manufacturer. And the air does not enter after suction due to a special valve inside the system, in general, do not worry - there will be no vacuum leaks. The instructions for my pump say that the more often you open the container (blow air into the food), the shorter their shelf life. That is, let's say a product can be stored in a container for 2 weeks, which means that you put the product in, closed it, pumped out air and did not open the container for 2 weeks. If they opened it two days later (ahead of time), then closed it again, then did the same thing again, then the product will deteriorate faster, since air got into it and oxidation occurred, albeit insignificant. Well, the container opens easily: someone has a button or a valve, and you will hear a slight hiss-hiss (this is the air coming out). Clear?
Elena Bo
Olga @, thanks.
And who uses a mechanical pump? How can they create a vacuum? Probably long and dreary? Eh, how to be? Do you also need to have different containers?
Something no variety.
Olga @
Different manufacturers have a different number and variety of container shapes. Brown has a total of four containers of various sizes and shapes. Other firms probably have more: you can choose something to your liking. I have not tried mechanical pumps, but it also seems to me that it is long and exhausting.
Elena Bo
Something is wrong with electric pumps. Everywhere or mechanical or in general, one name (no pump). Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? Yandex in general issues all pumps in a row

Elena, I know that many blenders have a vacuum pump function ...

Well, you said something wrong.
Why should these containers have for such "money", and indeed if they cannot be opened.

I do not do that. And I open and close them when I need to. And nothing gets spoiled.
It spoils only on one condition, if you put in containers obviously not fresh or spoiled products, which I have repeatedly seen when buying them in a store. And their homemade cuts and so on are stored for a very long time, no matter how many times the container is opened and closed. Or a fragile or defective valve and pump.

Even fresh meat, especially marinated meat, is stored very well - I open it, take as much as necessary, close it.
I do this when I buy fresh meat and I know that it will be used in the near future, and there is no point or need to put it in the freezer.

It was not me who "bent" (as you deigned to speak in your message before replacing the word "bent" with "you said something wrong," by the way, why was such a quick revision of the original beginning of the message with the word "bent" followed?) , I almost quoted the pump manual:
Quote: Olga @

The instructions for my pump say that the more often you open the container (blow air into the food), the shorter their shelf life.

And, indeed, it is so: practice and the laws of nature (physics and chemistry) show that the more often I open and close the container, the shorter the shelf life of the product. Whether you like it or not, air still enters the product after opening the container.
Olga @
Quoting from my Braun Multiquick Miniprimer instruction (p. 49): “Do not open closed containers (with vacuum) too often, as this will shorten the shelf life of the food inside. not going to use for several days. "
Olga @

and do not store meat there for two weeks without opening.
And no one forces you to do this, the manufacturers warn you about the consequences of frequent opening.

Something no variety.

Elena, I use hand pump containers. German company (I don't know which one)

To create a vacuum (or rather a sufficient vacuum), you need to do 6-8 strokes with the pump. Somehow, from an excess of strength and for better preservation of products, I swung 20 times. The container was deformed and cracked.
In general, it's a cool thing. Those dead greens that are brought to us under vacuum are stored for a week in the market form. It just starts to rot in the refrigerator for 3 days.
musyanya
I put the greens in a simple tightly closing container, and it’s like new in the refrigerator for a week (I don’t shake off all the water after washing and it’s enough to organize the necessary moisture for myself), but I also want vacuum containers!

I'm not thrilled. You can load no more than 80% of the volume. After six months, it begins to descend in 2-3 days.

Well, I bought it. While I was going to the store, I thought about taking two or three. There were two pumps and one container in the store. I don’t know if the pump is good, but after the one I received with the marinator, it’s fantastic. There is no more strength to squeeze out more than 10 times. If it were not for the bad pump to the marinator, I would have stayed so without vacuum containers. And when I came home, I remembered that I had given the marinator to friends for experiments. So I still don’t know if he will fit the marinator or not ...

Vacuum containers

Price - 350 rubles per container, 160 rubles per pump.

I have Zepter's, about 10, probably, including a bread box and a cheese box and for spices. When I bought, the toad was choking terribly, it was so expensive. But now I understand that they paid for themselves a long time ago, I have been using it for 10 years for sure! As my husband likes to say: we are not rich enough to buy cheap things! Exactly so.During this time I did not buy it myself, but Brown and some other unknown manufacturer were also presented - everything is already in the landfill
Zubastik
My containers were Decok and Brown complete with a hand blender and a nozzle for pumping air. Both types of containers are complete disgusting, over time they deflate, you won't leave the product for a week just like that, the air will be drawn in and you will not notice how the product disappears. It should be pumped up regularly. I don't know how to operate the Zepter, it should probably be good.
And if you pump up and regularly monitor the vacuum, then the products are really stored longer, especially in the greenery.
Laddy
I have from Duffy, wonderful containers and a mechanical pump for them. They hold the vacuum well. And recently they bought containers from another company, the Chinese seem to be plastic, but from thin ones, not like Dafi, they write that you can use it in the freezer and microwave, 3 times cheaper than Dafi, but they are quite suitable for storage. And the pump fits the same way. In general, not necessarily chasing Brown or Zepter.
cheerful
where you can buy in St. Petersburg vacuum containers with a pump. I won't be in the city for long and I would like to check on the spot how they work. It is very scary to order from far away. There will be no time for the exchange of goods, but it would be great to consider and try it yourself
Hairpin
I know how to check the pump. Apply to the palm and start sucking. If the pump chokes, then it is good, and if more than three presses are made, then it is bad. But check the valves on the containers ... alas, for this you need to hold them wrung out for several days and see if air enters. You can't do this in a store ...

I will duplicate here my review about Dafi vacuum containers.

I have Duffy containers. The whole set. I vacuumed the chicken, put it in the refrigerator, on the fourth day there was nothing to pull up. They are probably not the best, but I am very happy.
They are HO-RO-SHEN-KIE.
cheerful
Pretty is not the right word, but as the saying goes, the eye sees and the tooth doesn’t: (Everything about them is wonderful, both the shape, the price and the possibility of replacing the pump, but where are they bought
Laddy
Wondered about the loss of vacuum in Dafi. I didn't have this, it was with another container of another company, and Dafi holds a vacuum just great
Hairpin
And who loses the vacuum in Duffy? I do not see...

In my opinion, Tupperware offers the best vacuum containers in terms of price-performance ratio. Containers with sealed air-moisture-proof lids, of various sizes and shapes. Made of polymer, easy to maintain, no valves on the cover - nothing to break, no pump needed. The lid allows you to release air and make a discharged space inside the container, due to which the freshness of the product remains 2-3 times longer than with the usual storage method (as, among other things, in containers of the above companies). At the same time, the cost of one container is about 250 rubles (depending on the volume), although they are usually sold in sets of 2-3-4 pieces. But you can always choose to your taste

Hairpin, this is a big mistake. Everyone just needs to be able to use it correctly. Tupperware is a leader in kitchen utensils. If you watch the Smak program on Channel 1 on Saturday, then the whole studio is equipped with products from this company.

And somehow I don't have to keep anything for a long time. I make purchases on Saturday, but in such a way that only for a week is enough (you cannot stock up for a lifetime).Greens in the refrigerator in a jar of water are perfectly preserved for a week. And we also eat everything else every day. By Saturday, my refrigerator is completely empty (well, there will be a couple of eggs and butter, lard and canned food. In the morning - to the market and two hours later - a full refrigerator.
Once I ordered something in Neckermann and, in order to collect the required amount of the order, the girl offered vacuum containers. Then they cost a penny, something 25 UAH (if memory serves). Honestly, I didn't even understand what and how, but agreed.

Today I updated my vacuum container - I'm very happy
I made mushrooms in Venezuelan style, immediately poured hot mushrooms out of the frying pan, shook them (like I'm a marinator), then it began to cool down, it seemed to me that I was drawn in more than necessary, and I started a little air, then forgot about them, after 3 hours I remembered, with my mother in the kitchen sat chatting and playing with the jar. I decided to try it (just probably 4 hours passed from loading), the taste turned out to be infused as usual in a day or two, and mushrooms and a marinade with bread, it was just hard to come off, (earlier after 4 hours it was possible to consume, but it tasted like a marinade separately - mushrooms separately, so usually for 2 days in the refrigerator I forgot about them, then a drop of marinade did not disappear).

For several years now I have been constantly working with two sets - Valira and Gipfel. They hold the vacuum perfectly. Unfading, to buy containers in St. Petersburg is not a problem, but I have a bad idea (as well as Hairpin), as you can make sure of their good quality in a few minutes.
obgorka_gu, and you make mushrooms with apple cider vinegar or with ordinary?
obgorka_gu
I already gave a link to this recipe in the topic of what we can do in micro on the first page and Bubu advertised it strongly, just in marinators and for herself she changed, and thanks to Bubu for prompting me to improve an already wonderful recipe with the help of a vacuum

But so that who should not be looking for, I will completely copy my post from Cooking, and the recipe itself was taken from Irina Kutova on Gudkuk (this is such a long chain), but this recipe has been in our home betsellers for a very long time

Mushrooms IN VENEZUELIAN I took no links, from Good Cook (I will write a short recipe that I used, I only cut the garlic)
Wash the mushrooms. If large, cut into halves or quarters. Press the garlic through a press. Put all the ingredients in a deep frying pan, close the lid and put on medium heat. After boiling, reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes. Cool, transfer to a jar and refrigerate for 4 hours. Ingredients: 500g mushrooms, 5.7ml 70% vinegar, 1/3 cup water, 1/4 cup sunflower oil, 1 teaspoon salt, 2/3 teaspoon sugar, 3 cloves of garlic, black peppercorns, dill, 5 bay leaves
It's just some kind of song. Quick in preparation, simple, tasty, the main thing is not to wait immediately, the next day tastes better.

Now I can clarify, what
I always poured it into the jar without immediately cooling it, and if the jar is sterile, you could even hide it in the bins of the refrigerator and nothing happened for a month (I didn't try to withstand it any longer)
1/3 cup of water - 83ml (I have a regular measuring plastic cup 250ml)
1/4 cup sunflower oil -62.5 ml
1h l. salt - a spoon with a slide
I add garlic as much as possible
dill - grains, even cooler when ground a good whisper
and the last phrase is canceled when using the container-marinator, or rather its ending

This one - "the main thing is not to eat right away, the next day it tastes better"- it was tasty not the next day, but how after 4 hours they began to try ... - and until tomorrow there was nothing left!, but I repeat this when using a marinator (or his substitute )!!!
