Good day!!! Whoever has such a slow cooker, let's share the results of working on it !!!

I have a Redmond 4502 like this https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=128926.0
They are very similar. But today Hurray !!! I won the Redmond M70 Internet competition and now I will cook in it (I took 4502 to the dacha - at the dacha the multicooker is a great helper, it frees up a lot of time).
BES
I became the owner of such a multicooker, or rather my husband decided for me. I cooked stews using the recipe book with meat, in time - 1 hour, millet porridge (also according to the recipe book) - 40 minutes. I liked the dishes. that's all I can write for now. if you have any questions - ask.
Oca
I have a question! Is there a delayed start (for how many hours and with what step?) And how many so-called touch modes are there? That is, when you do not need to set either the time or the temperature, so that the multicooker itself will figure out how much food is and how long to cook it. I read about this cartoon while you program it ... I only need one single manual mode, in which the temperature would start from +30. This is to bake sourdough bread: first, proofing at +30, then baking at +150 (approximately).
BES
you can postpone the cooking process for 24 hours (as it is written in the instructions). I will not say about the modes yet, I used only the extinguishing program - there you need to set the time.
Levitan
There are no sensory programs, only automatic ones.
I like that the heating can be turned off, this is not in any cartoon, and this is so convenient, for example, if the temperature of the program is below 70 degrees, yogurt or the same dough is a good safety net if, for example, went to the store and stayed late.
Delayed start without a step, you don't need to calculate anything. in mv there is a clock of the current time, and on the timer (there are 2 of them, on any one) you need to set the time for which it should be ready.
BES
today I cooked semolina according to the recipe from the book - it didn't work out. semolina is all at the bottom in lumps, and milk is on top.
anechkastar
Good afternoon everyone !!! I really like my cartoon. I cooked pilaf in it, stewed meat and potatoes, cooked soups and recently baked a cake. everything turned out great and very tasty. everything worked out from 1 time. and the porridge on the timer for breakfast is super. though I have not tried semolina. I constantly took pictures to show what I did, but the computer does not see the card, so I can’t put it out yet
anechkastar
Tell someone who made condensed milk in a cartoon, I didn’t work in the quenching mode, everything boiled away through the valve: cray: I barely washed it.
msvetax
Today I also became the owner of Redmond m-7O with a ceramic bowl. I do not recommend buying a well-known site about multicooker in the store. On the phone, they said that the tongs for the saucepan are included as from the official suppliers, but in the end they did not bring anything. And now they say that there was no such conversation.
msvetax
A friend today received a Redmond m-7O bought from the officials. So, besides the tongs for the pan, there was also a lid for the pan. It turns out that now there is a new configuration at a new price. And in the store of a well-known site about multicooker they sold me at a new price in the old configuration (without tongs and a lid). Buy only from officials. Don't repeat my mistakes.
Levitan
Congratulations, very good choice. I have been using this for 2 months - I'm very happy. There is nothing to complain about.
Tatyska
And to me in the store of a well-known site about multicooker (m *** was sold at a new price in the old configuration (without tongs and a lid). And I also fell for this advertising trick in this online store: I bought the M70 Multicooker with a lid, but without the tongs! They promised, but did not bring it, and then justified themselves that the complete ones are very inconvenient, but it is better to buy it separately with an arc! But I already use the cartoon - it makes me very happy!
Tatyska
Today I made rice with chicken in M70, this kind of pilaf. I put chicken fillet, carrots, onions, a little bell pepper, garlic and curry, a little sunflower oil. Then on top of rice, which I always pre-soak for an hour. Added salt and water (one glass of water per glass of rice). And I cooked on the cooking-pilaf program, but added time to 1.5 hours. It turned out great! Recommend. Delicious! Well done, my slow cooker!
Tatyska
Oh sorry! For a glass of rice, of course, two glasses of water! Classics of the genre.

Good day. I ask for an educational program. Where do you order MB, how much does it cost and how long does it take? I'm from Astrakhan. Today I tuned in to buy a Stadler 909, but I really didn’t like the sloppy look, it was covered with burrs and the steamer was tiny. I also want to immediately with the tongs. And MV is not very sophisticated (not difficult to figure it out)? We quickly figured out the multi-cook (I don't know what it is). And how is the assembly?
Tatyska
Alfia! I bought MB in Moscow, where I live. I chose and read the reviews for a long time, so I chose REDMOND RMC-M70, in terms of workmanship, everything is very decent and beautiful. My friends bought REDMOND RMC-М4502 and were also pleased with this model! So I recommend it. And I bought it in an Internet store, walk around in the Internet, many have delivery to different cities.

Good day! A couple of days ago I bought a new m70.The first step was to cook milk rice porridge according to the recipe from the book, after the time indicated in the recipe (35 minutes) the rice grains floated alone in the milk, the cooking time had to be increased by 15 minutes. Then she stewed vegetables according to the recipe from the book (30 minutes), now she increased the cooking time by 20 minutes, because the vegetables were not stewed. I flipped through the book - everywhere less time is indicated than my CF needs according to my established experience. What's the matter: is the MV malfunction or is the manufacturer flattering itself and its device?
Oliya2107
Owners of M-70, please tell me if this cartoon is a pressure cooker or not? They write that he cooks under pressure - does it mean a pressure cooker?
Tatyska
Oliya2107! The M70 is not a pressure cooker; it does not cook under pressure. She just closes the lid tightly, and therefore everything is prepared faster and better.
Levitan
Of course, the M70 is not a pressure cooker, it cooks without pressure, but much faster than Panasonic. That is, this Panasonic cooks very slowly. And in m70, the cooking speed is about the same as on the stove. Rice 25 minutes, boil potatoes for 30-40 minutes, depending on the amount of potatoes. This time is not from boiling, but from the moment of start, the countdown begins immediately (not on all programs, on some it counts down after reaching T). The m70 has a power of 860 W (the Panasonic has less)
Grigorieva
I am very glad that they created a separate topic about REDMOND. The second month, as I cook on the M70 new multicooker. To say that I am delighted is little to say.
I cook every day.
Here is an incomplete list of what I did and NOT ONE PUNCH!
LEATHER BORSCH, PORK BORSCHT IN TWO VARIANTS, TOMATO SOUP, CHEESE SOUP WITH SMOKED CHICKEN, PEA SOUP WITH SMOKED CHICKEN, WHEAT SOUP WITH MEAT, CHICKEN WITH POTATO POTATO AND CHICKEN AND CHICKEN AND CHICKEN STUFFED PEPPERS, CHICKEN LEGS, CHICKEN WITH BUCKWHEAT, Ajapsandali, LIVER SOUFFLES, VEGETABLE RAGU, MILK Porridge-Wheat, HERCULES, RICE. MANNA. FONDU CHOCOLATE, FRENCH FRIES, OMLETTE.
AND NOW I'M BREWING A COOLER.
FRIED CUTLETS, CHEBUREKI, PIE WITH POTATOES, CANNED TWO WIDOWS FOR WINTER ADZHIKA, KABACHKOVA CAVIAR, HOMEMADE LECHO, KAZANSKY LECHO,
I didn’t bake, I have excellent HP and a good oven.

The daughters took the M-4502 and are also happy. Bought through the online store Multicooker pro https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/s-image/1892/, delivery to many cities is free. I immediately took another bowl and cups for yogurt.
The good news is that they have a chef's advice on a toll-free number.

Grigorieva I would like to know from you about milk porridge in this multicooker, how do you cook and on what mode !? Does the porridge escape through the valve !? I'm interested in porridge with pure milk not diluted with water and, if possible, proportions !!

I cooked semolina, rice, oatmeal, millet porridge strictly according to recipes from the book for CF on milk of 2.5 fat content. Next time I'll take a photo. I looked for wheat and millet with pumpkin in the internet.
I have now added a recipe for millet porridge with pumpkin.

Matilda-N
Grigorieva thanks for the answer! I have never cooked porridge in Redmond, I will have to try! I cook them the old fashioned way in Panasonic !! and so Redmond RMC-M70 the same pleases me !!! I made pilaf there, stewed meat, cooked soup, baked! everything turns out very tasty !!!

Beat eggs with a mixer with sugar, as for a biscuit, that is, in a very strong foam. Without stopping whisking, add gradually melted (not hot, just liquid) honey. Now mix the flour with the egg-honey mixture and quickly knead the dough. The dough is liquid like pancakes.
Pour into the multicooker bowl and in the Baking mode for 50 minutes (do not open the lid during baking, otherwise the biscuit will settle)
We take out the biscuit, cut into cakes, coat with any cream and decorate at our discretion.

Greetings to all! And tell me, do you need to turn off the cartoon from the outlet or not? For example, I don't turn off the microwave. And I don't understand with cartoons. It seems like there is a clock there.
Levitan
The clock will work in any case, whether the multicooker is de-energized or not.
It is not necessary to turn off the multicooker, but if you want to turn it off, and it is inconvenient to pull it out of the socket every time, then the MV can be connected via an extension cord with a key.
For the first time I turned it off, now I stopped (the red dot blinks at the start)
PetroI
Happy owners of the Redmond M70 multicooker, please answer how does it wash? Are there any problems with washing? How do you get fries in it? Do you need a lot of oil? Is it convenient to drain it?
Levitan
You need to wash the bowl as in all multicooker.
There is a removable plate on the lid at the bottom, which is more convenient than multicooker with hinged lids without such a plate.
There is a removable valve on the lid, the instruction recommends washing it after each cooking, but why, I don't know - it is always clean. I rarely take it off.
When you open the lid, condensation from the lid flows into a specially fenced hole on the case. I dab it with a paper towel.
The case should be wiped from dust and accidental splashes from time to time. Well, this is how to wipe everything from time to time.
The lower heating element from something (maybe the bowl was not quite clean or the condensation got in, in general, the nature of the spot is not clear) becomes covered with spots, someone has more, someone less. This does not affect the work of MV. However, such a nuisance with all multicooker from all manufacturers. Someone cleans and scrubs, someone does not - all the same it is inside and is not visible.
French fries can of course be made. And there are reviews of what they are doing. But it is better to buy a deep fryer for this.

Good afternoon everyone! So I decide to buy a multicooker and after reading the information I have a few questions. What is the difference between these models, except for the temperature step and the bowl, well, so that it is very significant, since the price is significant? And also questions about how quickly food is heated, for example, you can heat milk in a microwave in 30 seconds; is it possible to make hot sandwiches, otherwise the docha loves; and the bread was baked, as it turns out, you can do without a bread machine, or it will be a pitiful excuse.
Regarding the purchase, I want to ask: on the official website, the stoves cost 6 thousand. rub and 9 thousand. rubles, but an order of magnitude cheaper - no one bought on this site, do they inspire confidence? Thanks in advance for your answers.
Levitan
The bowls are the same, from one to the next. The multicooker itself is sold with bowls of different coatings, but you can buy additional stainless, ceramics, non-stick bowls for any. several bowls are very convenient. I have used all the bowls and I can tell that the ceramics are not that good. Like ordinary ceramic pans - super at first, and then sticks. By the way, we hear "ceramics" "ceramic bowls" - real ceramics is clay, and bowls with a ceramic coating are the same non-stick with additives. Non-stick bowls are much better, and the technology for making non-stick coating is now at its best, containers with a PTFE-based coating are used even in medicine. Stainless steel: this is not the same steel bowl as a regular saucepan. I cook and stew in it, and fry and bake in it is not good).
Below I will write the difference in the MB models, but I will say right away that it is insignificant and it makes sense to buy it at a cheaper price, that is, 4502. Moreover, I have 4502 produced in 2011, and now they have been improved and all the shortcomings have been eliminated. now both the porridge is super, and the multi-cook until 12 o'clock
Difference between m70 and 4502
Multipovar in m70 temperature step 5 degrees, in 4502 step T 20 degrees, that is, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 140, 160;
Multipovar time step in m70 1-5 min, in 4502 I don't remember how many, but more
A multi-cook in 4502 starts at 40 degrees (normal for yogurt, but too much for dough and sour cream), in m70 it starts from 35 degrees, you can make sour cream and dough. and yogurt, of course. in 4502, of course, you can bake bread, but the proofing of the dough will have to be done separately.
In the m70, in advance or during cooking, you can turn off the auto-heating, which in any MW turns on itself after the end of the program
in m70, the Cooking mode is more logically divided into sub-modes: rice / cereal, pilaf and milk porridge.

So, the difference is not fundamental, if you want to take a multicooker for everyday cooking, and not for culinary delights, then you do not need to overpay. The 4502 does well with everything except dough and sour cream. A non-stick bowl is better than ceramic. You can then additionally buy any bowls. Here is an excerpt from the article:
The conclusion made by the experts is that cookware with PTFE-based non-stick coating and ceramic coated cookware is equally safe to use.
However, in terms of reliability, it turned out that PTFE is ahead of ceramics. First of all, PTFE has higher wear resistance, as demonstrated by the abrasion test. In addition, test results have shown that pans with PTFE-based non-stick coating are less prone to chipping and are dishwasher-safe compared to ceramic coated pans. Thus, the myth that the life of the hard ceramic coating is higher than that of the softer non-stick PTFE-based coating has been debunked.
I bake bread in a bread maker, but the biscuits in a slow cooker are great. I really like to make biscuits in MV

I heat it up in the microwave, it's more convenient, faster and safer to cover the bowl. A slow cooker is a saucepan, albeit electric and with a lot of advantages.

Hot sandwiches are also best done not in a slow cooker. Although our craftsmen bake both pizza and in a multicooker, but I am skeptical. The cheese, of course, will melt and the dough will be fried, but the top ten in any multicooker is very weak and all the baked goods in all multicooker of all manufacturers are pale on top. It's all the same to a biscuit, but the bread is either turned over, or browned under the grill in the oven or in the airfryer.

A slow cooker is best used for cooking, stewing, you can fry, baking is good (I mentioned about the pale top)

Of all the kitchen appliances I have (including a bread maker and an airfryer), I consider a multicooker very necessary. It's like a washing machine, you can do without it, but it greatly facilitates household chores.

I forgot to write about Vasco. Isn't this site a flea market that sells second hand goods?
Mar_k
Thank you very much for taking the time to describe everything in such detail, now everything has turned out in my head, it remains to wait for the salary of the dear and then I will go to please my soul, otherwise with my "kindergarten" there is no time for delights. How to get it, I will definitely tell you about the sensations. And you can make sour cream in a bread machine if you really want to, my mother does just that. Regarding the store: a lot of different equipment is offered on this site and I constantly come across their car delivering goods, so I wondered what kind of site it was, although it was used or substandard in such quantities wherever they would find ... I do not know...
Mar_k
Well, I'm waiting ... While I was ordering, the pea soup ran away (this is his usual thing when distracted). I ordered Raymond 4502, on the website I checked, they promised to bring it tomorrow, now I'm all in my mind, what to do first, I want everything ...
Mar_k
.... "In the m70, in advance or during cooking, you can turn off the auto-heating, which turns on itself in any MV after the end of the program"
So I bought myself an assistant M4502, while as a "bull" at the new gate, I do not know how and what to do, I read the Old. And while it's fresh, I want to say that the auto-heating function can be turned off manually and turned on if necessary (as it is written, I'll check it).
Levitan
The forum has a topic about 4502. Only the first pages about the 2011 model, then it was worse. Since 2012, 4502 is getting better and better, and summer and autumn parties are generally superb. And you can still find a lot of useful things there.

Hasn't anyone been retired yet? I'm also wondering what this novelty is. I saw it on the shelves, felt it, but I haven't bought it yet.
Why not! I am already blessed. On the first day, I baked pork in foil. Since I did not find the recipe in foil anywhere, I put it on baking for 1 hour and added water. The water boiled away, decided to add more water and left it for another 1 hour. It turned out very tasty, the cut pieces did not fall apart. Although it probably depends on the meat. Since my hands were very itchy, on the same day I also made a charlotte. There was absolutely no smell from the meat. Oiled the bowl with oil (even though it is ceramic) Charlotte came out great. The top is pale, but having turned it upside down, it was immediately eaten by the family. The next day I made cutlets. On the fry for 20 minutes. It turned out very tasty, crispy, but ran into two little problems. The included spoon has a very short handle. You burn yourself against the walls of the bowl. I had to turn the Taperveevskaya length with a paddle. 2. Cutlets scoffed and did not want to turn over. Like a sandwich that falls buttered down. They turned and turned down again in a fried place. Now I sit and choose a recipe for tomorrow. The bird stands clean and sparkles.

Great, everything worked out! I never baked them after once the biscuit did not work in the oven and now the joy everything happened as in the photo.
